Policy Review Project GuidelinesDescription of Project:Students completing the Medical-Surgical 2 course are required to choose a nursing intervention policy within the clinical facility. Students then conduct a formal review of three research-based articles from peer-reviewed journals. The articles must relate to the policy. All three articles must be from current nursing journals that are dated within the last five years. Upon completion of review of the articles, students are to discuss the outcome of the research study and compare/contrast the outcome of the study to the chosen policy. The written project is due on the designated date listed on the course calendar.Demonstrate effective use of technology to select evidence-based articles for peer-reviewed nursing journals.
