PREVIOUS ANNOUNCEMENTS

Attention all students who perform community service: Each year Prudential and NASSP sponsor the Prudential Spirit of Community Awards to celebrate and recognize student volunteerism. Last year our school had two award winners. Anna Keleman was a state certificate honoree for her work with Soles for Soles and Lauren O’Grady was a Distinguished Finalist. Lauren received an engraved bronze medallion and a trip to Washington, DC to be recognized for her work with ECHO – Encore Community Humanitarian Outreach – which is a group she founded to give back to the community. Her group sponsors an annual dance fundraiser here at MTHS that has raised over $10,000 in the past two years for Schreiber Pediatric Clinic and Downs Syndrome Awareness. Look for their annual performance coming up on October 22.
