NEW BUSINESS:

1. Motion to approve MS4. The Annual MS4 was submitted to the DEP.

2. Motion to approve the Act 205 Requirements, Minimum Municipal Obligation (MMO) of the City to contribute to the three pension plans for employees of the City in 2021.

3. Discussion of emergency tear down of 222 Jarvis Street.

4. Motion to approve the reconstruction of the planning board to 3 members and 2 alternatives. Requesting to add Shadey S. Jabr, Esq. to the Planning Board.

5. Motion to approve the recommendation by the Planning Commission to approve the proposed subdivision of the Tin Mill Site, owned by Betters Real Estate Holdings, L.P.

6. Motion to approve the recommendation by the Planning Commission to approve the land development plan submitted by the Municipal Water Authority of Aliquippa (MWAA).

7. Motion to approve the advertisement to be placed in the Beaver County Times for One Year Contract for the provision of vehicle fuel & for police, fire and street departments.

8. Motion to approve the advertisement to be placed in the Beaver County Times for a Request for Proposal for a three-year contract for towing and storage of accident, impounded, and other vehicles for the City of Aliquippa.

9. Motion to approve the request by the Aliquippa Economic Development Corporation to purchase the following properties out of the Beaver County Repository for the purpose of blight removal in the West End Franklin Avenue Gateway and Corridor. The AEDC intends to demolish the structures and is requesting approval to authorize exoneration of taxes. The Parcels are 08-022-0307, located at 670 Franklin Avenue, 08-022-0222, located at 704 Franklin Avenue, 08-025-0509 located at 900 Franklin Avenue, 08-026-0806, located at 1217 Sheffield Avenue, 08-026-0807, located at 1219 Sheffield Avenue.

10. Motion to approve the purchase by Michael Rock of tax parcel 08-040-0702.000 and 08-040-0704.000 located at 00000 & 1329 Tyler Street from the Beaver County Repository of Unsold Properties authorizing the appropriate official to execute the consent agreement of Resolution No.5 of 2020 and exonerating taxes due and owing for the City purposes, of properties held in repository of the Beaver County Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, for all years preceding the last three (3) years. All taxes for the current year and the two (2) previous years shall be due and owed to the City of Aliquippa.

11. Motion to approve the purchase by Zabrian Smith of tax parcel 08-031-0229.000 located at 00000 Sheffield & GreenStreet from the Beaver County Repository of Unsold Properties authorizing the appropriate official to execute the consent agreement of Resolution No.5 of 2020 and exonerating taxes due and owing for the City purposes, of properties held in repository of the Beaver County Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, for all years preceding the last three (3) years. All taxes for the current year and the two (2) previous years shall be due and owed to the City of Aliquippa.

Motion to approve the purchase by Aliquippa Green Inc.of tax parcel 08-031-0229.001 located at 1224 Sheffield Avenue from the Beaver County Repository of Unsold Properties authorizing the appropriate official to execute the consent agreement of Resolution No.5 of 2020 and exonerating taxes due and owing for the City purposes, of properties held in repository of the Beaver County Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, for all years preceding the last three (3) years. All taxes for the current year and the two (2) previous years shall be due and owed to the City of Aliquippa.

13. Motion to approve the purchase by Christine Foringer of tax parcel 08-011-0703.000 located at 109 Jones Street from the Beaver County Repository of Unsold Properties authorizing the appropriate official to execute the consent agreement of Resolution No.5 of 2020 and exonerating taxes due and owing for the City purposes, of properties held in repository of the Beaver County Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, for all years preceding the last three (3) years. All taxes for the current year and the two (2) previous years shall be due and owed to the City of Aliquippa.

14. Motion to approve the purchase by Angel D. Good of tax parcel 08-021-0810.000 located at 221 Sixth Avenue from the Beaver County Repository of Unsold Properties authorizing the appropriate official to execute the consent agreement of Resolution No.5 of 2020 and exonerating taxes due and owing for the City purposes, of properties held in repository of the Beaver County Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, for all years preceding the last three (3) years. All taxes for the current year and the two (2) previous years shall be due and owed to the City of Aliquippa.

15. Motion to approve the purchase by Ricky Kirkland of tax parcel 08-027-1107.000 located at 219 3rd Avenue & 08-027-1106.000 located at 217 3rd Avenue (Duplex) from the Beaver County Repository of Unsold Properties authorizing the appropriate official to execute the consent agreement of Resolution No.5 of 2020 and exonerating taxes due and owing for the City purposes, of properties held in repository of the Beaver County Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, for all years preceding the last three (3) years. All taxes for the current year and the two (2) previous years shall be due and owed to the City of Aliquippa.

16. Discussion and approval to hold Aliquippa School District’s homecoming parade on Friday, October 9th beginning at 5:15 pm. They are requesting the participation from our Fire and Police Departments, as well as all other Police & Fire Departments.

17. Approval to hold Trick or Treat for the City of Aliquippa on Thursday, October 29th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Any extenuating legal concerns or matters will not be addressed regarding personnel issues.
