Apps Unleashed: How to Grow Your Business Using Just Your PhoneHello Alexa, thank you very much. Thank you to SCORE , Canon, and every person listening. We will have a blast, a really fun webinar. You will learn about apps you can use on your phone or tablet to grow your business cut to market your business, all kinds of great stuff. My name is Ron Cates . Rather than bore you, I will sum up my and Tyner -- entire professional career by sharing two accolades, and to be fair today it's about being authentic and transparent. To be fair I will show you my favorite accolade ever. And I will show you my least favorite. My favorite one a few years ago, a digital marketing icon, my PR team celebrated. To bring me back down to earth a few months later I did an interview with the travel industry magazine. My least favorite accolade. On the cover it says inside an interview with the grandfather of email marketing. But it's all good. My handle is my name on Twitter. As a social media best practice, if there's a social media platform you have heard on, sign up for them. I want you to grab your name or business name before taken by someone else. LinkedIn doesn't offer anything maybe for your business but three years from now it will change. If you try to grab the name it will be gone. If you've tried to register last five years you know many are taken. I use my real name, Ron Cates, so connect with me that way . While we so excited about apps, I am a nap addict. A digital marketing guy but I have 2500 apps. I love them a powerful tool in my pocket, my phone. The what and why is simple. In July 2008, a little over 10 years ago when the, less than 10 years ago, the App Store was launched. Not that old. There's already 150 billion downloads. That's how much we love apps. Business apps are the second most popular. By the way the most used app on an iPhone or android phone is email. We still communicate via email than anything else. -- More than anything else. The second most common -- popular category. Between Google and Apple there about the same. Each have a little over 2 million apps in the store. Only three percent of our time is spent on native apps that come with the phone. 97 percent of the time it spent on apps we have downloaded. Of the three percent, it's by for the email app . The average number of apps on your phone is 26. I know you're concerned, how much memory do I have. I don't have a huge phone, hundred 28 gigabyte memory. Most have more than that. I have 134 apps on my phone and I still have 93 gigabytes left. Not a big concern. Tiny footprints and it's amazing what they do. Some caveats. It sort of like Siskel and Eberts with the movies. I picked out my favorite ones. [indiscernible- static] both of them became large and successful. I know what it is like to own a small business. You don't have time to do the research. I have done the research for you. I have tested dozens of apps in every category. I picked out my favorite ones that work for small business. Some caveats, that doesn't mean there are not more out there. I can pick my favorite and that doesn't mean there aren't some good ones out there something similar might work better. In the best of the best [indiscernible] by a small business owner. The other caveat is I tried to be fair to androids and Apple iOS. There are a couple more apps available. For the iPhone, iPad, Apple iOS. [indiscernible]. Almost every case these apps are accessible via the web. In other words you can access them from any computer, anywhere on earth. You can be on Moscow, and you can access these. Let's jump in with some basics. I will not have a bunch that you have heard of. Just a few. There are some basic ones you have heard of. Maybe you haven't, if you don't you should. There all, a couple of those, and a bunch of new stuff you will learn today. The basics, Evernote. I use it every single day. A place to keep everything. That can be a list, a checklist, a to do list, a document. A photo of something. You can take a picture of a business card and it will automatically store that information in Evernote's as a contact. So you can search by name, by job, by job title. You can literally scan anything or keep any kind of note. I you stand up comedy is my diversion. Anything about this, it's everywhere. Once you put it in Evernote you can access it from any place, any phone, any computer, any tablet. It works on both android and Apple devices. It is available on the web. It works on a Windows computer or a Mac computer. Everything stays in their. If I want to find my passwords, my account number, I have a photo of my drivers license, my passport. This is where I keep everything I need to have. And of course it is pretty secure, I use a password. I can access any sort of thing I need. Any information I have written down, and I can put it inside Evernote. They have a premium model. It is free and gives you good use that, good free. For more features you pay money. I prefer the plus package, 399 -- $3.99 a month. You can edit documents, it gives you the business card feature. Incredibly powerful for four dollars for month . Drop box, definitely different than Evernote. It might sound similar. This is where you keep all your files. Every file you have on your computer can also be in dropbox at the same time. It syncs automatically. Think about that. Every file, document, PowerPoint presentation. Every Excel spreadsheet on your computer is also available in drop box at the same time automatically. A great way to back things up. You can access it anywhere, your phone, any computer. If you need to get to a file and it's on your laptop at home, you can be in Moscow again, the Internet café, go to the drop box account and grab that file. A lot of times you are somewhere you wish you had the document. The spreadsheet, documentation. And now it's accessible via dropbox. It works everywhere. On an android device or an iOS Apple device. From any web browser. Also any Mac or Windows computer. I do see there are some good questions. We will answer those at the end, to let you know. IOS news. This obviously is only available on iOS devices, I the best Apple devices. There are similar apps out there for android phones. This is really powerful. What iOS news does, it allows you to create a newsfeed of any topics you are interested in. That me be more specific. I embrace digital marketing so much I hate to have met how many blog websites I look at every day, to find out the newest things going on in digital marketing. What this does, I can set them all up and they are all on, it will scan the world. Anything with digital marketing it brings it into this app. A lot of you struggle to come up with content for social media. More than half the content on social isn't something you wrote, it's something you found and shared. You become an expert by finding the good stuff for the people who follow you. When I'm looking at this, there is some real technical stuff. And here is something I come across, this is good and will resonate with my audience, all I do is hit a button and it will automatically tweet it, share it on Facebook, any social platform. To get more followers and elevate yourself, show them your expertise by finding content for them. When it comes to social media, ready much every social media platform has an app. These are some of the top ones on the Apple Store. They are are literally hundreds. You have heard of Facebook, LinkedIn. You probably had not heard of [indiscernible]. Participate in the ones you enjoy and do well with. Worry about the other ones later. Pick one or two platforms you like that your audience is on. But social media apps allow you to do this easily. Rather than logging in to all of these things, I can use my Facebook app on my phone, my Twitter app, and tweet things out. It makes it easier than logging into everything individually. The point is, for every social media platform, no matter which one you love, there is an app for it that makes it easier to use on a mobile device. HootSuite, I love it. A free version, paid version. The free version is incredibly robust. It allows you to manage your social media platforms in one place. This is kind of what it looks like. I can create a message and say I want this going out to Twitter now. I want this one going to all of my platforms. I want this one going to Facebook next Wednesday at 10 O'clock a.m.. You can schedule post-to go out in the future. I love this feature. I have tweets and Facebook post going out to scare them. I'm still watching you. Very disappointed. For business purposes, imagine how easy. If you only have an hour a week to work on social, you can really move the dial with social in 10 or 15 minutes. Two or three days a week. More time will accomplish more. If it's Sunday night, you don't want all of your post going out Sunday night, HootSuite allows you to create them and send them out later. It also allows you to manage all of your platforms in one place. Instead of logging in on individual apps, all of your platforms and the current messages are in one app. You can configure it anyway you want to. The website looks like this. There is a free version, it works everywhere. An app for iOS, for Apple, any web browser, and the free version gives you a lot. The professional version gets you more. $9.99 Pur month. They will actually find content for you. Here is an app you should have but you probably don't. It is called alignable. . It is kind of like small business meets . Here is how it works. The founder of this, the CEO, Eric Groves. He used to work with me at constant contact. We found we lived in a geographic area of small businesses. And one center there would be a pizza place in a movie theater. We would look at the email list and there was hardly any overlap. In other words even though it was just down the street, a few doors away, they weren't connected across promoting. That's why alignable was created. It is free and I will always be free. You create the account and it shows you all the small businesses registered within a five mile radius. You can connect with them so you can refer business, do promotions together. Get questions answered like what you think about this local marketing service. Or I need to hire someone, you have a recommendation. It's invaluable and it is free. You need to be on alignable. Here is what the website looks like. Again you can do everything from the website or use the app. It is available to any web browser. It will work on any phone. There is a separate at for iOS, Apple. Apps that help you create professional looking marketing materials. The bar has been raised by consumers in a couple of different ways. One important way is they now expect marketing to look professional. If it is not professional looking, they assume you are immature, second rate or suspect. I give you an example. Email marketing, starting that 30 years ago you could only do Outlook type emails. But now you can do these nice HTML nice-looking newsletters. I had to learn how to do that code by hand. Fortunately there are services out there now like constant comment and mail chimp, they allow you to use a template. What makes a big difference, it turns out those nice-looking HTML, professional looking emails, they don't just look better but they get a times the action. -- Eight times the action. So something that doesn't look good, if it doesn't look professional, I question the business in the service. These are tools that can make you look like a high-end agency, where in fact you are doing it your self for free. The first one is part of a series of three. Made by Adobe. The some company that makes Photoshop. These are all free. The Adobe Spark series, the Adobe Spark page. It allows you to create a webpage for free. It walks you through. You can do anything you want with it . you can put in photos, but in videos, but and audio, links and clicks. A really great way to make a one page website. You can do anything you want and make it simple. They have layouts to choose from. All you have to do is type in your own text. Great prompts. You can do anything you want with it . Let me give you an example. I know small business. I know you have a website and I also know a lot of you don't have direct control of your website. There is someone doing it for you. When you want to update it it is not easy. You send the stuff. Wouldn't it be great if you could do it on your own. Say you send out an email and it says [indiscernible]. Wouldn't it be great if you had a page and you put up that they instantly, and by an item or learn more about you. A landing page for free. Adobe Spark page is free. If you love it, there are other tools out there. This is an easy way to do it free from any web browser will work on any phone, any tablet. Also a separate app for Apple available on the App Store. The second one, Adobe Spark video. Today we know videos get more engagement than almost anything else. Not that long ago with an email, you can even put photos in them. Once we were able to put photos in an email they got more engagement than plaintext. Now you put a video in an email, or pretty much any social media site, bringing a times -- eight times the engagement. When you do a video a couple of things Medio the best matter -- a couple of things matter, two minutes or less. No matter what. A common mistake is a lot of small business owners make it all about them upfront. What is in it for them. The other way consumers are changed, they know their attention is valuable and why marketing exist. Only 14 percent of us trust ads anymore but 17 70 percent trust online engagement. I know you want my attention, I want something for it, I will barter for it. Entertain me or give me intellectual property. Give me insider information, expertise. Don't be afraid of that word, every one of you is an expert at what you do. We are brought up to be humble, in marketing that doesn't work. I want to buy from an expert. I want to show you how to do email marketing better than the world. Give them hints, at the end, it's always what's in it for them upfront. That's how you get the attention. Adobe Spark video makes it simple. Once you create the videos you can export them to email, Facebook, twitter, anywhere. It allows you to create great videos in a few minutes. All kinds of footage. And you can also use your own images, your own video, your own audio. It makes it simple. A huge stock section if you don't have your own. You can use your voice. It looks great in minutes. Then you have a video you can use anywhere. Totally free, works from any web browser anywhere, any phone, any tablet. Just going to the website and logging in, or separate app for iPhones. Third and last, the Adobe Spark posts. When you post an image, whether email or social media, it gets more engagement, significantly more than just a text message. We also know when you add custom text to a photo, customizing it gets more engagement. An example, last euros at an event in Palm Springs. The view outside my door was amazing and I took a photo of it. I added another test day at work and it had huge viral reach because of the video, photo. You don't need to do that every time with every photo. You can overdo it. But you know photos get a lot of engagement. This is a way you can customize it and make it even more powerful for you. Adobe Spark post, again it is free and works on every web browser, etc. and a separate app for Apple. Email marketing and website stuff. Email marketing, when I bring that up people are like wait a minute. Eight years ago someone said, a famous person, that was picked up by a every media. Cheryl Stenberg, CEO of Facebook, a conflict of interest? What is the mandatory requirement, and email address. When I want to contact them, it's via email. Here is the reality, email is still growing at six percent a year. 95 percent of us between the age of 18 and 64 do email every day. We are obsessed with it. I know what the answer is, how many have tweeted today? How many of you have posted to Facebook today? When I say how many of checked email, every hand goes up. We are obsessed with email. We check it at least 24 times a day. It is how we communicate today . There are services out there that allow you to do email marketing well. And yes I was the global spokesperson for constant contact. I am biased. I love constant contact and I also love mail chimp. This allows you to go in and look at the emails you sent and look at some of the results. You can even create an email. Learning about using the services, constant comment, email chant etc.. Once you do it you are on your own. But you can track consumer behavior now, find out who opened it, what time of the day, who clicked on what and when. Think of the value of that. If I sent out items and they all say click here for more information, with one button I can make a list of who clicked on it. I can do a targeted email to that group. Inc. about that. -- Think about that. I know what they are interested in. The reality is today, the bar is raised by consumers, as everything has to look good to we expected to be targeted. If it's not targeted you're telling me you don't care. A quick example, I will leave out the name, but I have two cars. If you saw my picture you know I am not married. I have these two cars, a huge company, their annual marketing budget is $900 million. My first email said hey come in and buy a new car. It wasn't the car I bought. They should have a lot of lift, people that of hot -- bought a sports car, a family car. They should target. The other thing email does, they include a feature where the recipient can share the email you sent them on their social network. Think about the power of this. What is your best prospect. It looks like your existing customer. You can network to people like them. If they share your email, they become a third party, independent, trusted advocate on your behalf. When you look at the tracking, you can go back and say I didn't realize so many people follow me on Twitter. Hardly anybody talks about me on Facebook. Maybe I need to spend more time on Twitter or whatever platform it might be. Constant con tact, mail chimp, they all have the tracking feature. This is what the website looks like. And you can have a free trial and test it for two months, after that $20 a month. It works on any web browser. Anyone can use it. Also apps for android and app store. It starts out free on mail chimp and stays free unless you want more features. And how about a website. I recommend you have a local expert create your website for you. That is your home base. Where everybody looks for you. Where you send people. Whether email or social, you want them to go to the website. This is an area I would invest. My favorite example [indiscernible- static] in a major metro like Manhattan, a yellow page ad cost $93,000 a year. Compare a yellow page ad, by the way at that price you're paying about seven dollars protocol. For a call. On a website you can have as many pages as you want. You can update it whenever you want to. A valid tool and 1 million times more valuable. I bet not many of you spend 92 million dollars a year on your website -- $92,000 on your website. This is a real important first impression. If you don't have someone local do it, you are new with a tiny budget. WIX is one of the easiest ways to create one on your own. A real site, the WIX app is super to use it This is what it looks like on your phone, what it looks like on your website. As a matter of fact there is a slide I use now and a lot of my presentations, a website for a bike store. I had to create this for myself. I did it with WIX and it took me seven minutes to create using the WIX app . A really powerful tool. It might take you longer. WIX has a free plan . It is limited in bandwidth. There is a bunch of different plans. I like the unlimited plan which is $15 a month. This will work on any website, web browser, if you have access to the Internet you can do this. Also apps for Google or iPhone. Now I put in a couple of different bonuses. I will pass this and go to the first bonus. Other neat stuff. Font mania, I talked about how important it is to add text to a photo. You get more engagement. You wanted to look great. I showed you a good free that the best free app -- free app. Some great amazing looking stuff. It is not free. Font mania, different templates. You can create stunning looking marketing pieces that real professional, high-end agency looking pieces, in minutes for free, once you pay a one-time price. I think it's a five dollar app. Five dollars, a one-time purchase you can do it anytime you want. This one is different, why it's in the bonus section. Snag it. I use this every day. This is on your desktop or laptop, not a mobile device. It allows you to create incredible [indiscernible]. Already built in on your screen is a screen capture, it gives you amendment -- an image of what's on your screen. This goes beyond that. You can take any size image you want to and make an image out of it. Weather website, photo, word document. You can add text, edit it, delete pieces of it. You can even do a scrolling webpage. If you ever tried to take a photo of a wet page, you cannot do that with the traditional screen capture tool. But Snag It will capture it no matter how long it is . You can do custom video. Walk through a website, product demo, I can do voiceover, add music. I can show myself speaking. So it has a really powerful. I use this every single day. Everything in this presentation, almost all of it was captured using Snag It . It is not free, it is $50, a one-time purchase. Works on Mac and works on Windows. I thought we might have some super bonus content time. I see you have a ton of questions. The first bonus app, this works in a web browser, also an app for iPhone. Fund default -- fund box. In some cases there is a budget issue. We know today Facebook video advertising has an amazing return on investment. We know email marketing has an amazing return on investment. When we talk about return on investment, first let me put it in human terms. I know you are sophisticated business owner, but in human terms, the return on investment on email marketing last year was $38 for every dollar you spent. Let's put that in real light. And Antarctica they have a special promotion, they will hand you every $38 back. Where would you be? We would be in the longest line in the history of the earth. I would take the new money and go back and do it all over again. [indiscernible- static]. A major return on the investment. 5 to 1 is considered good. 10 to 1 [indiscernible] won't happen very often. Email is 38 to one. Here is the catch, we have all heard it takes money to make money. [indiscernible] I believe in the return but I don't have the dollars to invest. That's what fund box does. You can go in that in a minute and have cash accessible. It cost you nothing to apply for it. Nothing to have it ready to use. You don't pay anything until you use it. Any amount you want, you can pay it back faster, and the other big difference they are one of the first businesses in the world to finance using artificial intelligence to underwrite the loan. Instead of using human underwriters, they use artificial intelligence, and they are able to offer incredible value. You have all these invoices outstanding every month, and you need to improve cash flow. Go into fund box. I am a big fan. This one is also for Windows computer or a Mac computer. You would need a desktop. It is the best voice machine on earth. Once you train it it will understand everything you say. I don't know about you but I am not a great typist. Today in social media we are forced to come up with content. All I have to do is talk to my computer and it turns that into text. You can train it, it learns your voice and pacifically. It learns special -- your voice specifically, it learns words only you use. You can teach it anything you want to. It is amazing. I like Barry but this blows theory out of the water. Hundred $99 one-time purchase. So Alexa, when you are ready to come on and ask questions, I will do my best to answer them. Excellent, thank you so much Ron. We will now begin the Q&A portion of the call. I will read the chat questions that the participants have sent in. Please continue submitting your questions using the chat function on the left-hand side of your screen. In the time remaining, we will address just as many as we can. Please note if we don't have time to get to your question during the Q&A segment. I encourage you to connect with a SCORE mentor after today's webinar . SCORE mentors are available online or in a chapter near you, to help you apply strategies that Ron has presented today. With that Alexa, really quick, can you hear me? Go ahead. Sorry to interrupt. I am realize the best realizing -- realizing there are maybe some people here today that don't know about SCORE. I am a big fan . They have people in your city that will help you for free. Funded partly by the government, the FDA, so essential your taxes have paid for it. Major expertise in your city to help with business, marketing, finance. Go to your local SCORE office you will be amazed . Super. All right Ron. Moving into the questions. The first question comes from Lisa. Can inputs in Evernote be uploaded to a company CRN? Not yet. I do know it is something they are working on. It is not there currently. Okay. The next question from Emily. She would like to know what is the difference between storing on Google drive versus dropbox? Dropbox I forgot to mention is a powerful feature. A couple of things. They are similar, but dropbox is more robust. One feature they have that seals the deal, when I want to share a presentation slide or have a big document and it is too big to attach to an email. Anything in dropbox, you right-click, hit a button and you can copy the link and share it. Instead of sending one of PowerPoint, you send the link to where it is stored on dropbox. They click on it and it downloads for them or puts it in their web browser, they can view it or download it, have it. The ability to share large files via dropbox is unmatched. Next question comes from Doug. With dropbox and Evernote, do you have a concern about security breaches? If your business miles are exposed what are your liabilities quick I always have a concern about security and security breaches. I know there security is much more sophisticated and advanced than what I have on my PC. It would be easier for a hacker to come hack my files using my Wi-Fi and personal system than they could ever do on dropbox or Evernote. They have military grade security. We know today almost anything is hack double. -- Packable. It is as safe as you can be. Even safer than every day at home on my laptop or desktop. Okay, next question from Nick. He would like to know if Twitter adds work. Twitter adds work. Is always caveats. It has to be well written. With a Facebook or twitter add, the big thing is the power they have. Incredibly detailed database. Facebook probably has the largest database of humans in the history of the world. Because of that, social platforms have micro targets. Here is where it works or doesn't work. If you really know your customer, your prospects. You can create an ad that just goes to those people. And the part to, you have to write an ad that is good targeted to those people. If I had a clothing store and I wanted to target and add to women aged 25 to 29 in a certain ZIP Code, this income level, who mentioned this type of handbag in a post, I can do that. It would only go to them. That is the power of it. If you're not good at targeting, it will not be a successful. If you are good at knowing your customer, you will have in same, phenomenal results. I would not try to do it on my own. There is a company I think that is the best on earth. Even the small business package is about $1000 a month, that is not a low-price. I could go to fund box and get the money. All right, next question. He would like to know what alternatives you would suggest to HootSuite. HootSuite is definitely the most robust of those types of services. A nice free alternative is called buffer. And the USS ER -- Okay, next question from Rebecca. With regard to Adobe spark, would you use this on the day Maine -- on a domain you already have. You could. If you have your own domain, I don't want to get too complicated, you could create a webpage or URL. Like Ron whatever. It would go into my Adobe smart page. I reroute but I could use my own domain. [indiscernible] it would be smarter to use my own. Ron, next question from Steve that he would like to know if you can create a video in Adobe and later post on YouTube and elsewhere? Yes. You can use Adobe spark to create a video and post it anywhere you want to. In fact there is built-in connectivity. I mentioned there is a great company that does video advertising. Success is awesome. The social television network. STN . >> All right. Next question comes from Julie. How many posts do you recommend on social media. Should they always be about product, can you really use and related post as well pick Great question. How often you post depends on the platform to get maximum engagement. Facebook is one of the few where you can over communicate and lose followers. I recommend one or two times a day, no more than 10 times a week. If you go by on that you lose engagement. And twitter is the opposite. It is micro engagement. You have to do it more often. On Twitter, big engagement starts at five times a day. I know it sounds like a lot. These are just little, a photo, and aha moment. Your customers ask you questions all day long. Answer them. That can make a great post. It doesn't have to be long and extravagant. My favorite post ever on social is from a farmers market. When you think farmers market you don't think social savvy. Three seconds to type this. At 2 AM, do you know where your food is? Within a week there were more than 250 comments and 300 like. The like button in Facebook is a powerful thing. If they hit the like button they are 91 percent more likely to buy. To refer you to friends. That is powerful. The comments, as you scroll down, you are the owner and it took three seconds to do a post. What is great is it incites people to comment. You can scroll through the comments in a minute. They love my fresh watermelon. Parking is a pain on Saturday, I didn't know that this is invaluable information you couldn't get any other way. A great place for your advocates and fans to become advocates on your behalf. Think about this, anyone with a business more than a will than a year. You can tell us you have done crazy things, bending over backward to make a customer happy. You hope they refer you, hope they come back. Hope is not a business strategy. They want to be your friend, become your advocate. Ask them to do it. Is someone come in and they're super excited about address. Say can I quote you, take a picture of you cup post it. Of course they will say yes and they will tell their friends. These things can happen all day long. As for his promotional stuff versus other things, I will not follow you on twitter if all you post is by my stuff. What makes you different. Let me know you are a human. The power of social, it's very intriguing to me. It is digital but the power is definitely from a backlash to a digital age. We don't know our number -- our neighbors names anymore. I always wanted to use this word, we yearn to cabinet -- to connect with other humans. It's real important everything you post, has a voice. If you are paying $2000 for this webinar, I use the word persona, what is the persona of your business. If it was a human what words we use, what would it not use. That's how we communicate an email and social. It's not your print marketing on a post. Most of the emails I get all say by my stuff. Tell me what makes you different, show off your expertise and I will buy something. I'm not saying I want to know what you had for lunch every day. But on occasion, if you're backstage at a concert, I want a picture of that. I want to know there is a real person here. We are in the mission credibly attracted -- we are incredibly attract the to a real person. [indiscernible- static] That has been studied so much. Less than 1/10 of one percent of the time, we would rather buy from an expert and wheel spending more when we have a professional relationship with you. Social creates the perception of a relationship. This is important. Harvard business rule says we will spend 67 percent more with the business if we have a relationship with the business. We will pay a price premium. I read this and I trust Harvard. I thought I would never do that but when I thought about it more, I do that all the time. I spend a ton of stuff on tennis stuff. I could buy online and save more but I don't because I know them. Tennis is personal, but something as mundane as gasoline. If you go to an intersection with four gas stations, you by not based on the price or the pump, it's who works behind the counter. That's how you become that type of location, destination did incredibly powerful. I got a little evangelical there but I am passionate about it. Excellent. The next question is from Wanda. When using constant contact do you own your own contact list. Can you retrieve it when you need it? Such as if you need to imported to an Excel spreadsheet. The answer is yes. That is true on every major server. You can always download them into a spreadsheet or anyway you want. The neat thing about using a service, email marketing service, it looks like it's coming from you, your email address. The reality is it's coming from that services server. Whether it's schools, Yahoo, whoever. They have relationships with your company. There stuff is delivered at a higher rate than you could ever do on your own. The mechanics behind it, one of the biggest band scores you can get. [indiscernible] these big services, you might have many people on your contact but they send them out in microseconds. The deliverability is higher, the tracking ability is better than you could do on your own. A lot of options including constant contact. This name I can't announce. He would like to know what other red flags when selecting a digital marketing agency. The first big one, if they are not asking you a lot of questions about the personality of your business, persona or brand that they are not the right people. They will not communicate your voice. The idea it sounds great, I can hire someone to my post for me. That is great as long as they are truly doing it in my voice. To meet my needs. The whole persona branding, one example. BMW and Cadillac. Is it male or female? BMW is both, Cadillac is male. They are doing everything they can to fight this but "Please stand by for realtime captions." Is so ingrained, an older male. They have a tough time competing with the younger market. When you look at the ads from the past, everything supports this idea. The colors, models, the images. It all reflects that. As they change you can see the difference in the way they do things now. Big business has known and thought about it a long time. [indiscernible] Next question is from Jill. Jill said she is unable to find iOS news at the App Store. She wants to know if it changed names? It is actually built into the phone already. You don't download it it is a built in app on your phone. It comes with it. Okay Ron, next question from Sonja. The Snag It videos? Yes. It would be the ideal way, if I want to share a video and I have it playing in YouTube and I do a screen capture. It would be fine pud the best., Even better --. Better to download it from YouTube, it will look more professional. The next question comes from Kathleen. She wants your opinion of [ NULL ] use easy -- house -- HOUZZ Email me, my email address is Ron I will do my best to answer. I like to know everything. I do want to get tripped up on one app. Next question from Michelle. If you are a startup and have less than 200 followers on Facebook, should you post to your business and personal page? Yes. The talking about the difference. Facebook you automatically get a personal profile. That is for your friends and family, people you're connected to. Your business pages for your customer prospects. The conversations are totally different. You want definitely people in your personal profile, to my great to your business page. Send a post and ask them to or invite them to. Facebook as a tool, you can invite everybody on your personal profile to go visit and like your business page. Okay Ron, time for another question or two. Real quick. The reality with Facebook today, as a free marketing tool, it has lost a lot of his power. Not a lot of people post anymore because Facebook wants you to pay for it. It has to be great content that people engage with. And more and more people will see it but the reality, as a free market it has lost a lot of it's luster. If you pay, yes you must have a Facebook business page, but as a free tool it is losing quite a bit of power free. The best way, I know small business struggles with what platform I should be on. The best bang for my buck. Send out an email using an email service. Then look at the reporting. A lot of times you are shocked. People talked about me on LinkedIn and I don't spend any time there. There is no one best platform. Facebook is the biggest so I will be there. That I will put all my eggs in that one basket. All right, one last question for today. One second. Something posted, for iOS news, go to settings, find it and turn it on. Thank you. Perfect. Ron, is there a difference in webpage in a webpage through Adobe Spark, and a website through WIX . What is really the best? If you just want a single purpose landing page, you can do that with Adobe. If you want a really great, amazing, robust site, I would talk to a local small business that creates websites and let them do it for you. If that is not an option, WIX and others out there , WIX allows you to create a good looking site on your own at a low price. It is a great resource.
