Real world topics covered will include income, money management, spending and credit, as well as saving and investing. Students will design personal and household budgets; simulate use of checking and saving accounts; demonstrate knowledge of finance, debt, and credit management; and evaluate and understand insurance and taxes. This course will provide a foundational understanding for making informed personal financial decisions. Daily grades will include such items as classwork, chapter tests, and projects. Students may be exempt from semester exams if they meet the following requirements:Minimum Semester Average: and Maximum EXCUSED absences (in that class):93-100485-92375-842The iNow program is utilized for this course. Each student and parent can access a student’s grades. Login information for each student will be provided by the school at a later date.FBLA: As a member of this class, a student has the opportunity to join Future Business Leaders of America.Make-up work: Due to the hands-on nature of the course and the fact that it is a graduation requirement, I highly recommend that absences from this class are minimal. Acceptance of make-up will be in compliance with the student handbook. ................
