Digital Art 195-0700 Professor HanesFinal Portfolio ProjectThis is your final and must be completed during the class period today.Goal: To use Photoshop motion space in order to create an animated portfolio that highlights the projects you have created this semester and the Adobe programs you have worked in. Requirements: The animation must have at least two images from Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, along with title and credit pages. It must have a sound track to accompany it and it must flow evenly and give the viewer a chance to absorb each image and its significance. Your portfolio should highlight your strengths and abilities. Workflow:Open an image in Photoshop in Motion workspace and then click on Create Video Timeline feature on the bottom to open up the Motion Workspace.(1920 x 1080 pixels at 300 ppi is a good ratio for your images and we can size down later if needed ) You can add new frames by clicking on the filmstrip icon the bottom and click on “add media” or under FILE –Place—Embedded. You can re-arrange the order of the layers by dragging and dropping in the timeline or in the layers palette.You must include the following. A title frame saying your name and Portfolio on itA frame introducing each new segment such as: Photoshop (layers, blending, photomontage), Illustrator (logos, image trace, mandelas), and InDesign (original Zine page (s) and ad.) Put in at least two frames of art work for each of these three categories Finish with short bio frame and a contact frame.Play with transition elements such as fades and dissolves and movement.Add music by clicking on the music symbol by Audio Track. Please try to find a short track (no longer than two minutes) and you can trim the track to just extend a short while after the video portion ends. It should be a MP4 format, H.264 High to medium (depending on file size), 30 FPS, and Document (1.0), Check Manage Color and All Frames (see above link rcc. for more detailed instructions.)Once the MP4 video file is saved and you test it out, upload to folder indicated on line.
