Purpose:

This Service Process Work Instruction defines the steps to troubleshoot and repair the LIFEPAK CR2 defibrillator.

Scope:

This document applies to Service technicians, trained to this Process Work Instruction, and the processes performed in preparing devices for use. The

procedures set forth in this document were derived from manufacturing process documents. This document is limited to LIFEPAK CR2 devices. All

other devices are outside the scope of this process work instruction.

Service Personnel Qualifications

These instructions are intended for authorized Service Representatives and Service Providers who have been trained to the Service procedure and

who are familiar with the LIFEPAK CR2 defibrillator.

Preface:

This Service Process Work Instruction describes how to support the following tasks for the LIFEPAK CR2 defibrillator:

Another publication, the LIFEPAK CR2 Defibrillator Operating Instructions (CAT 26500-003800 for cprINSIGHT and CAT 26500-003754 for no

cprINSIGHT), is for use by physicians, clinicians, and emergency care providers. The operating instructions provide step-by step instructions for use,

as well as operator-level testing and maintenance.
