PT256

Normal Straw Hybrid

A new high yielding Pioneer normal straw hybrid PT256 is a new high yielding normal straw hybrid with very good straw strength and stem canker tolerance. Registered in Denmark this hybrid has given very high seed yields with a high oil content. PT256 has very good resistance to lodging and Phoma.

PT257

Normal Straw Hybrid

High Gross Output Yields with All Round Disease Resistance PT257 is a new normal straw hybrid that has shown the ability to produce very high yields in UK conditions. A strong combination of resistance to stem canker (6) and light leaf spot (7) makes PT257 a hybrid to sow for growers who are looking to switch to a variety with yield enhancing agronomic features.

PT211

Normal Straw Hybrid

Consistency and Wide Area of Adaptation PT211 is a normal straw hybrid first launched commercially in the UK and Ireland in 2012. PT211 is recommended by the AHDB for cultivation in both the East/West and North Region and combines a very high seed yield with a high oil content. PT211 is notable for its agronomic merit which includes high scores for lodging resistance, stem stiffness, and all round disease resistance.

PT234

Normal Straw Hybrid

Gross Output and Early Maturity

PT234 is a normal straw early maturity hybrid first sold commercially in the UK in 2014.

PT234 is listed on the AHDB Recommended List for the North Region in 2016/2017. PT234 combines a high oil content with a strong package of agronomic features. PT234 stem canker disease resistance is based on broad quantitative horizontal resistance, or multi-gene resistance, which provides a level of stem canker tolerance that will be helpful in the event of resistance developing to the Rlm7 gene.
