To all Little Wars Attendees:WELCOME to a very intense but fun packed three round (2.5 hour each) tournament! We will start on Friday April 27th with registration at 0930 and round one starting at 1000 and end at 1230. We will break for lunch and be back ready to go at 1400. This round will end at 1630 and the final round will go from 1700 to 1930.This tournament has been designed to test your Generalship in an intense three round struggle to achieve what few leaders can, a spot in the Nationals. We know you are all great leaders in your own right but there can only be one victor! The overall winner will receive a Golden Dog Tag which entitles them to free admission to Adepticon 2019 and qualifies them for entry into the Bolt Action Nationals to be held there. The winner is still responsible for tournament entry fees for the event (required by Adepticon to facilitate event tracking). In addition to this overall winner there will be awards for top Axis and Allied Generals, Sportsman and Players Choice Army. We know that all of you love the game and the period. It is our intent to make this engagement both challenging and rewarding. To do that we have great scenarios to play and prizes for everyone who attends this grand event. Tournament Rules1. FORCES Players must use a 1,250 requisition point force. Scenarios will be presented 10 minutes before each round. Get ready for some fun and very interesting rounds!The force must consist of a minimum of one and no more than two Reinforced Platoons. No tank Platoons. No more than 16 order dice.The platoons in the force must be selected using the army list section of the main rule book or one of the Armies books. Theatre lists can be submitted but must all come from the same book, please no blending of theatre books. For example use either Battleground Europe or Battle of the Bulge book for your US Army list…not both! NO SPECIAL CHARACTERSNO VEHICLE FLAMETHROWERS2. game time There will be three 2hr 30min Rounds, the players must finish the current turn, and then the game ends automatically. 3. ARMY LISTThe players must have 4 copies of their army list, Army list are due to me by 1 Apr 18. 1 bonus TP for early list submissions. Another bonus point will be awarded if this list uses the boltaction. format. 4. TOURNAMENT POINTS (TP)Victory is calculated as described in the Scenarios being played and Tournament points are awarded for victories, defeats and draws as shown below:ResultTournament PointsVictory3 TPDraw1 PTLoss0 TPIn addition, players must also record how many requisition points of enemy units they destroy during their games. These destroyed enemies points (let’s call them ‘Casualty points’) are always added together in a running total and are used as a tiebreaker to pair players that are on the same level of Tournament points. 5. WINNING THE TOURNAMENTThe winner is determined at the end of the last round, according to the following criteria:The player with the most TP will be the winner.In case of same TP at the top, the winner will be the player with the highest Casualty point total.Again as a reminder there will also be prizes for top Allied, Axis, Sportsman and Players Choice categories.For rules or any questions email me at jon.russell@.I highly recommend players to use boltaction. when filling out their army list.
