Prekindergarten Report Card MOCKUP - Conroe ISD

Standards Based Reporting

What is Standards Based Reporting?

Standards based reporting links report cards to state standards in a very helpful way to inform parents about their child's progress. A Standards-Based Report Card gives specific information concerning a child's individual level of proficiency on a given standard. This system allows your child to know exactly what is expected in each content area and provides parents with a more detailed outline of learning expectations and student progress.

What is a Standard?

A standard identifies what a child should know and be able to do at each grade level. In Texas, the standards are part of the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) for grades K-12 and the Texas Prekindergarten Guidelines (TPG) for Prekindergarten.
