Position Reporting to the Executive Director, the Family Guides Program Director will have overall strategic and operational responsibility for the Family Guides Program. The program serves parents with children and young adults impacted by sex trafficking. Communities served are Katy, Sugar Land, Kingwood and The Woodlands with a maximum of 5 families served in each community at any given time.The Family Guides Program is a new program and a direct response to a public health crisis present in Harris and Fort Bend counties. The Family Guides Program Director must have organization and planning skills, leadership, and integrity to manage volunteer Family Guides who are providing direct support to families in crisis. The Family Guides Program Director will be required to develop a deep knowledge of the field and program operations with excellent management skills and be able to supervise, and hold accountable an effective volunteer team. Responsibilities Be first point of contact to family in crisis and approve a family for services, based on vetting criteria. Must maintain a high level of compassion, sensitivity and confidentiality.Supervise a volunteer team of 20 in 4 communities. Effectively match volunteer Family Guide with family in crisis. Determine what services are needed through our collaborative partners and engage those services, in partnership with matched Family Guide, including private investigator and law enforcement.Ensure compliance with all requirements of funders of the Family Guides Program, including maintaining files, tracking data and program enrollment.Ensure effective systems to track outcomes; regularly evaluate program components to ensure that the requirements of funders are met and that outcome measurements are produced that can be effectively communicated to the board, funders, and other stakeholders and that can be used to drive program improvement. Identify and reach out to community partners to create partnership opportunities; build partnerships with volunteers, community members, and other organizations that provide services to children and young adults impacted by sex trafficking; formalize these partnerships with MOUs. Assist in organizing and co-leading trainings for the Family Guides Program. Regularly communicate with volunteer Family Guides and attend weekly meetings with the Executive Director. Other duties not included here may be assigned. Qualifications The Family Guides Program Director will be thoroughly committed to the Childproof America mission. All candidates should have proven leadership, management, and program development experience as well as proven experience in programs that work with victims of sex trafficking. Concrete, demonstrable experience and other qualifications include: * At least 3 years’ experience working in a management position in a program or organization related to social work or sex trafficking* Bachelor’s degree required * Ability to work effectively with volunteers and parents in crisis * Experience with conflict resolution and/or crisis management * Strong written and verbal communication skills; a persuasive and passionate communicator with excellent interpersonal and multidisciplinary project skills * Action-oriented, entrepreneurial, adaptable, and innovative approach to planning * Ability to work effectively in collaboration with diverse groups of people * Passionate, integrity, positive attitude, mission-driven, and self-directed * Must submit to federal background check To apply, please email a resume and cover letter to Kelly@ and reference “Family Guides Program Director” in the subject line ................
