JOB DESCRIPTIONJOB TITLE: Project Management Department ManagerJOB SUMMARY: The Project Management Department Manager provides leadership and management in organizing, expanding, and operating the Project Management Department by following existing standards and processes, implementing new standards and processes, managing team members, and successfully overseeing all aspects of Project Management to meet customer expectations, budgetary constraints, schedules, and ADF quality and utilization standards. Scope of responsibilities includes overall management of the project management functions, including scope, cost, planning/scheduling, design, documentation, hosting design meetings, and coordinating project completion between multiple engineering disciplines.The Manager of Project Management is responsible for overall customer satisfaction and the supervision of all Project Managers JOB RELATIONSHIP: This position reports directly to the Vice President of ADF.QUALIFICATIONS:Project Management or Mechanical/Chemical/Process Engineering bachelor’s level degree or higher required.PE license is strongly preferred, MBA is a plus.Sr./Lead level project management responsibilities with 10 to 15 years experience in a consulting engineering environment.Significant industrial project experience in Food, Agri-processing, animal feed, chemical, biofuels, and/or pharmaceuticals.Experience in managing multi disciplinary projects and management of an engineering department. Demonstrated management skills including budgeting, planning, project cost estimating, project management, and inter-departmental relationships management.Experience coordinating multi engineering disciplines and working with all departments on inter-departmental project planning and execution.Demonstrated experience and effectiveness in managing and supervising professional and support level personnel, including performance management, conflict resolution, and disciplinary action.Customer service orientation and ability to create a customer service culture and mindset,change management skills, PM skills including scope, scheduling, cost and budget management..Job Classification:This is a full time (minimum of 40 hours per week), salaried, exempt position.
