American Propaganda during World War Two

Throughout World War II, the American government utilized several different forms of propaganda to gain support for the war effort on the Home Front. Posters, pamphlets, songs, and even short films were created to encourage Americans to support the war abroad. Goals of propaganda campaigns included encouraging Americans to buy war bonds, aid in conservation efforts, convincing women to join the effort with wartime jobs, and even convincing the American public about the evils of the Axis Powers.
