congruent. (Ex. SSS postulate, SAS postulate, ASA postulate, AAS Theorem, or HL theorem.) 4. Start your proof. List your given information as needed in step #1 with "Given" as your reason. Continue your proof listing your congruent statements with their reasons. Remember, you must have three statements showing your sides or angles are congruent. 6.
