Dear Future PTA Members,??Welcome to the 2021-2022 school year at Brooklyn Park Middle School (BPMS).? I want to extend to new families a personal invitation to join our PTA. Being a part of the PTA is a great way to become involved in your child’s education. You will be in touch with what's going on in the classroom and in the school.??Attached is our membership form which can be filled out and mailed to the school along with your membership dues. If you would like to complete the form and pay online, you may go to: join our Facebook group called “Brooklyn Park Middle School PTA.” If you're not on Facebook that is ok - BPMS offers a monthly online newsletter to keep you informed of what is happening with the school and the PTA.??PTA encourages and supports our students with various events and recognition activities. We also host appreciation events to honor our amazing faculty and staff. To provide these services, the PTA holds fundraisers such as restaurant nights, spirit wear sales, and more.???Throughout the time of virtual learning, BPMS PTA has continued to meet, stay connected to families, and fundraise to support current and future PTA activities.?Once students are permitted to return to the school building, PTA will be able to continue such activities as student-of-the-month breakfasts, honor roll recognition activities like our Rita’s Italian Ice social, and other school-based activities.??In the spring, we nominate new PTA officers. BPMS PTA officers have one-year terms, with the option of running again for a second term. New parents or guardians are welcome to apply for PTA board positions. If you are interested, please contact us at bpms.bees.pta@. At our June meeting we will welcome our new board members.??We are always looking for volunteers who are enthusiastic about making BPMS the best school it can be for our children.
