NOTICE OF FILING AND PUBLIC HEARING

December 18, 2019

A public hearing on the application in Case No. PU-19-294 is scheduled for February 6, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. Central Time (9:00 a.m. Mountain Time) at Bowman Lodge & Convention Center, 207 West Highway 12, Bowman, ND 58623.

On August 8, 2019, Denbury Green Pipeline-Montana, L.L.C. filed a consolidated application for a corridor certificate and route permit for the location of a carbon dioxide pipeline, approximately 9.23 miles long with approximately 2.29 miles located in Slope County, North Dakota, and 6.94 miles located in Bowman County, North Dakota. On August 19, 2019, Denbury Green Pipeline - North Dakota, L.L.C., joined the consolidated application. The pipeline location is shown on the attached map.

The issues in the combined application for a certificate of corridor compatibility and

a route permit are:

1. Will construction, operation, and maintenance of the facility at the proposed location produce minimal adverse effects on the environment and upon the welfare

of the citizens of North Dakota?

2. Is the proposed facility compatible with the environmental preservation and the

efficient use of resources?

3. Will construction, operation, and maintenance of the facility at the proposed location minimize adverse human and environmental impact while ensuring continuing system reliability and integrity and ensuring that energy needs are met and fulfilled in an orderly and timely fashion?
