_______ Sentences have correct end punctuation.

_______ Proper nouns are CAPITALIZED!

_______Sentences are complete and there are no FRAGMENTS.

_______ Semi-colons are used correctly to separate independent clauses (if each part of sentence could stand alone as its own sentence) I am tired; my game ran late.

_______Colons are used correctly to list items: tennis rackets, lacrosse sticks, shoulder pads, mouthguards.

_______ Commas are used in compound sentences and for listing items in a series. The man took his ax, shield, and sandals, and he ran into the forest.

_______Apostrophes are used correctly for contractions and possessive nouns.
