This is not to be difficult – this is to protect any young puppies we may have on the property at the time. We have no way of knowing what this puppy has been exposed to while away from our property and some deadly and very contagious diseases like Parvo could potentially wipe out a whole litter, so we have to be very protective of our environment when bringing in any dogs or puppies - even if it’s only been for a few days. We would highly recommend you giving your puppy longer than a week though to settle in and fully transition before deciding they’re not the right match for you. All predictions or estimations made by the BREEDER(S) about this puppy’s adult size, color, coat type and temperament are based solely off our experience and knowledge of the breed in general and this specific puppy in comparison to past puppies from the same bloodline, as well as their parents and grandparents. Even with all this prior experience and knowledge to guide us, each puppy is still uniquely different and will mature at different rates and their sizes, coat, color and temperament may vary from puppy to puppy and may not turn out as originally predicted, therefore we cannot offer any grantees - only approximates.Allergies and SheddingThis puppy should shed very little hair and dander, In most cases, the Labradoodle and Aussiedoodle are a great choice for families with pet allergies and a lot of our customers who suffer from mild to moderate pet allergies have done great with our puppies and adult Doodles, however, all dogs may shed some dander and hair, especially if they’re allowed to become matted or are not properly groomed, therefore, the BREEDER(S) cannot guarantee this puppy to be a 100% “non-shedding” or “hypo-allergenic”.Temperament and SocializationBetween 3 weeks and 16 weeks of age, puppies go through a “critical socialization period”. BREEDER(S) guarantees this puppy was born in our home(s) and has been exposed to all the sights and sounds of a busy family household the entire time they've been in our care. They've been handled and loved by all ages of humans. They've been exposed to other dogs of different sizes and ages and have been raised with full access to their mother and littermates. Our guardian Moms go back to their forever guardian families once their puppies are 8 wks old.Once this puppy leaves our care, it will be the responsibility of the buyer to continue the socialization process and start their obedience training and house-training. The BREEDER(S) make no guarantees or promises to how this puppy will continue to develop once they leave our care. The BREEDER(S) have no control regarding how this puppy is raised, socialized or trained by the buyer(s), we can only provide you with our best training and socialization advice and then hope you follow through. Early and positive socialization with lots of new people, pets, environments and experiences are all critical in shaping a dog’s behavior patterns, coping skills and temperament. Puppies who are isolated from other puppies and dogs and interaction with new people and new experiences, can cause puppies to develop insufficient social skills, poor problem-solving skills as well as develop unhealthy phobias, anxiety and fear responses. It’s critical for the well being of your puppy to make sure they are properly socialized and trained especially important the first 4 months.Socializing Your Puppy Before Fully VaccinatedThere are plenty of places and ways you can socialize your puppy with new people, places and friendly, healthy dogs before they are fully vaccinated. Please stay away from high dog traffic areas in public places and be logical about where you take them but DO NOT hide your puppy away at home until they’re fully vaccinated. The pros of early socialization outweigh the possible risks of taking them out and about. Remember until your puppy is fully vaccinated to keep ALL your dogs that will in contact with your puppy away from high dog traffic areas, they can possibly track contagious germs home on their paws, this is not super common but still a risk.Giardia and Puppy Diarrhea:Safe-Guard (Fenbendazole) treats and controls tapeworms, roundworms, hookworms and whipworms. Safeguard is also the #1 treatment for the intestinal parasite, Giardia which is very common in dogs and puppies. Giardiasis cysts are shed in the feces of an infected animal and easily transmitted by sniffing contaminated ground, or drinking contaminated water, like rain puddles and will develop symptoms usually 5-10 days after exposure. A large majority of infected adult dogs will be asymptomatic but can still pass it to other dogs and infected puppies can suffer mild to moderate diarrhea. Giardia can be tough to diagnose in stool samples. It’s recommended to deworm your puppy/dogs with Safeguard every 3-6 months to avoid intestinal parasites. If your puppy has diarrhea that lasts more then a few days, before assuming it’s food allergies, intestinal issues, sensitive stomach or just something they ate, you may want to try deworming them with Safe-guard. If your puppy is vomiting, lethargic, not eating has blood in their stool or has severe or watery diarrhea then you need to contact your vet right away because these could be symptoms of something more serious, like Parvo. Safeguard and Panacur (Fenbendazole) are both over the counter deworming medications. The Parvo VirusYoung Puppies are especially vulnerable to the parvo virus until they’ve received all three shots in their core vaccination series, which means owners need to take extra precaution during this time to prevent their puppies from contracting this virus. Puppies should receive another dose of the canine parvovirus vaccine at 12 wks and 16 weeks of age, to develop adequate protection. Another Parvovirus booster should be given at 1 years old.Visiting the Veterinarian ClinicThe Vets office is NOT a great place to socialize your puppy with other dogs and people. The Vets offices while necessary can also be one, if not the most dangerous place to take a puppy who’s not fully vaccinated yet because the vet is where people bring their sick dogs and regardless how clean the clinic is, it’s very hard to completely disinfect an environment where a parvo infected dog has been and parvo can live for up to 6 months in soil. When you take your puppy to the veterinarian clinic, keep them in a carrier or in your arms for the entire length of your visit, they should be put onto the exam table and then put directly back into their carrier or your arms. DO NOT allow them to roam around on the office floors, visit with the other (possibly sick) dogs/puppies or be handled by their owners. DO NOT let them go potty or roam around on the grass or property outside the clinic. After 16 weeks and after all the core vaccines and boosters have been given, then it will be safe to take your puppy basically anywhere dogs are welcome to go. Until then… PLEASE JUST BE SMART AND PATIENT!Rehoming Your Puppy/Dog:If for any reason, you are unable to care for your Dreamydoodle/Sprout Creek Farms Doodles puppy or adult dog – PLEASE contact us immediately. Under no circumstances may this puppy (at any age) be relinquished to a pound or rescue. BREEDER(S) will take back full ownership of one of our puppies at anytime (for no cash refund) or we can help in re-homing them from your location, by advertising them on our website and social media. BUYER(S) would receive all funds received from the adoption and be 100% involved in the adoption process from the BUYER(S) location. If the BREEDER(S) are required to take back ownership of this puppy at any time and are held responsible for rehoming them from our location(s), then the original BUYER(S) will have NO claim to any funds received from that sale or adoption. If the BUYER(S) decide to re-home this puppy without our assistance, the BUYER(S) agree to provide BREEDER(S) with proof of spay or neuter and the new owners contact information as soon as possible.
