emsCharts 2013 User ConferenceAn Interactive Working ConferenceMay 2nd & May 3rd, 2013 – Omni William Penn Hotel, Pittsburgh, PennsylvaniaOn May 2 & 3, 2013, emsCharts is hosting the 7th annual emsCharts User Conference in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This event has consistently provided educational and networking opportunities for over 100 emsCharts Administrators and Power Users each year. In 2013, we are changing our event location to allow the User Conference attendance to continue its growth. Another change in 2013 is that we’re seeking presentation material and ideas from our product’s most practical and knowledgeable experts – you, our users!If you have a topic that is applicable to other emsCharts users, we want to hear about it! If you have an idea for a presentation and would like an arena in which to present it, this might be your chance!Please consider one of the two submission options below:Topic Submission “I simply have an idea for a topic that I would like to see at the next User Conference, but I have no interest in presenting this topic.”Please submit your topic idea via email to Deb McCoy-Freeman (debmcfr@). Be sure to include:Topic idea or title suggestionDetailed description of the information that you would like to see addressed in the presentationAbstract Submission“I have an idea for a full presentation, along with the interest, materials, and knowledge to personally present this topic to other emsCharts experts/users.”More than one abstract may be submitted. Each abstract must be submitted separately.Direct all questions, and submit your abstract to Deb McCoy-Freeman (debmcfr@). Conference attendees will include Agency Directors, Assistant Directors, Supervisors, QA/QI Coordinators, Clinical Managers, Billing Managers, and other practitioners with responsibility for ensuring the documentation and data quality for their organizations.The emsCharts User Conference Program Committee will assess abstracts on their relevance to the conference theme and audience, learning value, practical benefit they can bring to the audience, and the presenter’s credentials. Abstracts must be received by email before November 1, 2012. emsCharts, Inc. reserves the right to refuse any abstracts submitted after the deadline. Accepted submissions will be notified by December 7, 2012.Accepted presenters must agree to provide the following items which will be used in the conference program, website, and electronic versions of the conference proceedings:A short biography or CVA 100 word description of the presentation, including key audience benefits and objectivesCopy of presentation by deadline provided (typical deadline is 3 weeks before event)Presenters and co-presenters will be provided emsCharts User Conference registration at no cost. No additional honorarium or compensation is provided.
