Admissions decisions to the University's undergraduate degree programmes are made based on academic performance as well as other factors, including interview performance, personal statement, references, other documents submitted to the University, etc. Candidates should take note of the standards laid out below and any Programme Entrance Requirements on the admissions website for examination achievements in particular subjects that are required for consideration to specific programmes. Attaining academic achievements better than the expected lower boundary stated is not a guarantee for admission to the University.

IB Diploma

Candidates should have completed the full IB Diploma, including CAS, TOK, and the Extended Essay.

GCE A-level / International A-level

Candidates should present a minimum of 3 A-level subjects, excluding English and Chinese language.

SAT / AP

Candidates should have completed a) Redesigned SAT or ACT plus writing; AND

b) a minimum of 3 AP Exams.

*Students presenting the now defunct SAT Subject Tests may be considered for admission based on comparable achievements.
