Purpose: Teachers can log in and input questions using interactive game templates. Game templates include

Matching game Flashcards Concentration game (Memory game) Word search puzzle Battleship Challenge board (like Jeopardy) Columns activity (matching) Hangman game Jumbled words Ordered list activity Picture perfect activity (put terms in order to reveal a picture) Pop-ups (fill-in-the-blank with pull down options) Rags-to-Riches (similar to "Who Wants to be a Millionaire" game) Scavenger hunt (enter websites for students to explore and answer questions) Cloze activity (enter the correct term in the blank) Patterns (complete the term-definition or definition-term pattern from a pull down

menu)

Quia has a 30 day free trial and it is $49 a year if you would like the paid features. With paid features, you can input students' names (the whole grade level, if desired) and assign students online work. All quizzes that you create are automatically graded for you.

But, you can still use the FREE features! Even without a paid account, students can search the "shared activities" section for interactive educational games based on content. If you already know a teacher who has a Quia account, you can search his/her shared activities for free.

To log in:

create an activity (listed above), go to "Create" and you will have a choice of templates. All you have to do is type your questions in the template.
