Academic Education (Associated degree)

1. Duration：3 years

2. Admission requirements:

(1) Abide by the laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China and all the rules and regulations of the university

(2) in good health

(3) Senior high school students or graduates or with educational background at above level

(4) HSK C

Applicants whose Chinese level is below HSK C will learn at least one term Chinese before directly entering academic study after test.

(2) Copy of physical examination form for foreigners (please go to state-run hospital for health checkup before sending the copy of the form.)

Non-academic Education

1 Long-term Chinese language study：

（1）Duration：1 term-2 years

Primary, intermediate and advanced classes are available depending on different Chinese levels of international applicants

（2）Start time for class：March or September。

（3）Curriculum:

Chinese Intensive Reading, Extensive Reading, Listening, Speaking, grammar and writing, etc. Students can choose Chinese History and Culture, Chinese Musical Instruments, Music, Drawing and Calligraphy as selected courses.

2 Short-term Chinese language study

（1）Duration：1-12 weeks

Primary, intermediate and advanced classes are available depending on different Chinese levels of international applicants

（2）Start time for class：March-June, September-January

（3）Curriculum:

Chinese Intensive Reading, Extensive Reading, Listening, Speaking, grammar and writing, etc. Students can choose Chinese History and Culture, Chinese Musical Instruments, Music, Drawing and Calligraphy as selected courses. Trips can also be means of study.

1. There are 2 terms a year. Language students can pay tuition fee and accommodation fee on the basis of term or year. Tuition fee is not refundable if students quit study due to their own reason.

Admission

The admission depends on the application documents. If necessary, online interview or telephone interview will be arranged.

Once accepted, students will receive the following documents via express mail, Entrance Notice of Suzhou Vocational University, Visa Application Form for Foreigners Wishing to Study in China (JW202) and Physical Examination Record for Foreigners. With these documents, foreign students can go to Chinese Embassy nearby to apply for the X-type visa or F-type visa.

Registration

All the students enrolled by the school need to register according to the date given on the Entrance Notice of Suzhou Vocational University Those who fail to register in time are supposed to get the permission from the school in advance, otherwise, enrollment will be canceled.

Long-term students need to bring their Entrance Notice of Suzhou Vocational University, Physical Examination Record for Foreigners, Visa Application Form for Foreigners Wishing to Study in China (JW202), Passport and 10 photos to the Foreign Affairs Office to register.

Short-term students need to bring the Entrance Notice of Suzhou Vocational University, passport and 3 photos to register.

Transportation to School:

Shanghai Pudong Airport to Suzhou Railway Station by coach, school can pick students up at Suzhou Station if needed.

Shanghai Hongqiao Airport to Suzhou Railway Station by coach or train (Hongqiao Airport is connected with Hongqiao Railway Station). School can pick students up at Suzhou Station if needed.
