ABSTRACT

These instructions give guidelines for authors to submit papers for this journal. The abstract should not exceed 300 words, TNR, 11 point and Italic. Avoid citing references and uncommon abbreviations here, but if essential they must be defined at their first mention in the abstract itself. The structure of the manuscript should be organized in the following order: Authors' names and affiliation, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Material and methods, Theory/calculation, Results, Conclusion, Acknowledgements (where applicable), References, and Appendices (where applicable).

Keywords: The author should provide a list of three to six keywords separated by commas that is informative and clearly describe the subject matter of the paper, use Italic.

Received for review: dd-mm-yyyy; Published: dd-mm-yyyy

Introduction (TNR, 11 point)

All papers must be written in English. This template provides authors with most of the formatting specifications. The authors are kindly requested to observe carefully the following instructions for the preparation of their papers. This document in itself is an example of the desired layout for camera-ready papers. The manuscript should be in one column and typed in single space. Use 11-point Times New Roman font throughout the manuscript except for the section headings that should be 11-point Times New Roman bold. The first paragraph following a heading should not be indented.

The following paragraphs must be indented 10 mm. Note that there is no line spacing between paragraphs unless a subheading is used. Symbols for physical quantities in the text should be written in italics. Define abbreviations and acronyms the first time they are used in the text, even after they have been defined in the abstract. It is recommended that the manuscript does not exceed 20 pages, with A4-sized (21 x 29 cm) pages with top and bottom margins of 2.5 cm and left and right margins of 1.8 cm. Leave one blank line before each secondary heading.

Illustrative Material

Illustrations must be originals or photographic prints of originals. Arrange them throughout the paper and do not group them together at the end.

3 Figure and Table TNR 11-point

Figure captions must be typed beneath a figure in good resolution. Use extra line spacing between equations, illustrations, figures and tables. All figures, tables, etc. must have a caption, centre-justified in 10-point Times New Roman. Tables and figures must appear as close to their point of reference as satisfactory formatting of the final document permits. Tables can be typed directly onto the sheets. Table headings should be as brief as possible and typed directly above the table. All number should be rounded to two decimal places while reporting correlations, proportions, and inferential statistics such as t, %, and x2. Please ensure that subsections do not exceed two levels i.e. x.1. However, bullets can be used instead to support paper structure.

4 Mathematical Typesetting

We recommend using Microsoft Equation Editor (the powerful new built-in Equation Editor for Word 2007 onwards or Microsoft Equation 3.0 object) for equations and mathematical expressions, as it will provide the most reliable outcome. The powerful interactive equation editor MathType is also acceptable.

Avoid using Microsoft Equation Editor or MathType to insert single variables (e.g., “a² + b² = c²”), Greek or other symbols (e.g., β, Δ, or ′ [prime]), or mathematical operators (e.g., x, ≥, or  ±) in running text. Wherever possible, insert single symbol as normal text with the correct Unicode (hex) values.

Do not use Microsoft Equation Editor or MathType for only a portion of an equation. Rather, ensure that the entire equation is included. Equations should not contain a mix of different equation tools. Avoid “hybrid” inline or display style of equations, in which part is text and part is Microsoft Equation Editor, or part is Microsoft Equation Editor and part is MathType.

Formatting and Inserting Equations

Equations should be numbered consecutively and appear in parentheses. All equation numbers must appear on the right-hand side of the equation and should be referred to within the text. Two different types of styles can be used for equations and mathematical expressions which are inline style and display style.

i. Inline style

Inline equations/expressions are embedded in paragraphs of the text. For example, [pic]. Inline equations should not be numbered.

ii. Display style

Equations in display format are separated from the paragraphs of text. They should be flushed to the center of the column. Fractional powers should be used instead of root signs. A slash (/) should be used instead of a horizontal line for fractions, whenever possible; for example, use 2/3 for two-thirds. Refer to equations in the text as " Eq.(1)" or, if at the beginning of a sentence, as " Equation (1)". Vectors should be typed boldface. Do not use arrows, wavy-line underscoring, etc.

Format of References

Within the text, use APA style references. The references should be quoted by author’s surname with the year of publication in parentheses. Use authors’ surname if two, first author and “et al.” when more than two. Depending on sense, either the year only is placed in parentheses, or the author's surname and year separated by a comma are placed together in parentheses as shown below. For example: “Particle Swarm Optimisation (PSO) was employed by Abdul-Rahman (2012) … “; “There is a correlation between correlation between two words in a post (Yusof et al., 2015)”. The list of references should be typed in alphabetical order and follow the general style given below as an example. Title of books, periodicals and conferences proceeding should be typed in italics. References should be listed together at the end of the paper in alphabetical order by author’s surname. List of references indents 10 mm from the second line of each reference.
