New Password Reset Feature:

As of July 12, 2010, an updated Core-CT login screen will contain a new feature: the ability to reset a forgotten password.

To have the ability to reset a forgotten password, all users will first need to change their profile in Core-CT. While this can be done at any time, we advise this be done as soon as possible after the publication of a Daily Mail that will be sent to all users on June 28, 2010. That Daily Mail will include the following information:

A PowerPoint show with screenshots explaining how to set up your user profile can be found at (It is a link in the middle column of the Core-CT home page at ) You may save the Power Point to your computer’s hard drive, or print it out, or simply refer to it.

Please note that the new login screen after July 12, 2010 will have the Core-CT logo featured prominently and will no longer have an Oracle or PeopleSoft logo.

To restate what is in the PowerPoint show, here is a list of steps to follow to set up your user profile:

-Log in to Core-CT. -Be sure your list of modules/processes appears in the Enterprise Menu, on the left side of the page. If it doesn’t appear, click the maximize icon on the Enterprise Menu bar.

-Scroll down and click on the My System Profile link.

-Under e-mail, make sure that your address is correct. If it is not correct, enter the correct address.

-Closer to the top of the page, click on the link for Change or set up forgotten password help

-Click on the drop-down arrow and choose one of the authentication questions.

-Enter a response and click OK.

-Enter the answer to your authentication question

Please note: If you have multiple IDs in Core-CT, each ID must be set up in this way in order to use forgotten password reset.

After July 12, 2010 if you do not set up your user profile and you do not have an e-mail address you will need to contact your Core-CT Agency Security Liaison list at to have your forgotten password resent centrally.

-If you have questions or need assistance on setting up your system profile, you may call the help desk at 860-622-2300 or email the helpdesk at core.support@
