Only upgrade to this version of firmware if you have a problem with the issues listed in section 1.8 or needing to take advantage of new features listed in section 1.7.

3 Upgrade Details

This release has many additional instructions. Please refer to the MultiSmart 3.3.7 Supplementary Release notes for more information. Here are basic instructions to upgrade to 3.3.7.

1 USB / SD Card Upgrade

1. Copy the multismart.img file obtained from the Xylem TPI website or from MultiTrode customer support onto a USB stick or SD card.

2. Insert the USB stick / SD card in your unit and reboot/power off. You will be prompted as to whether you want to proceed with the upgrade, which you will need to confirm. The progress of the upgrade can be viewed via the progress bar at the bottom of the screen.

3. In order to upgrade the DSP, go to:

Settings->Software Modules->Upgrade DSP and press 'Upgrade'.

The DSP should start its upgrade process. When the DSP Upgrade is complete, please go to:

Info->I/O->System

and check that the version number of the DSP is 03.02.0rel0.
