2022 FORE! KIDS Golf Tournament

The South Brunswick Islands Rotary Club and our 2022 golf committee would like to thank you for your participation

in our annual FORE! KIDS Golf Tournament at Tiger¡¯s Eye Golf Course in Ocean Ridge Plantation.

Our 60+ members are dedicated to raising funds which benefit the children, youth, and young adults of our

community. South Brunswick Island Rotary continues our commitment to our community with the funds raised

through this tournament, and our commitment to you and our sponsors for a fun day of golf.

Greens fees and cart fees for 4 at Tiger¡¯s Eye, one of the area¡¯s premier courses

3 Flights with prizes to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams in each flight

Captains Choice Shotgun Start at 9:00 AM

Coffee and pastries at the Tiger¡¯s Eye Clubhouse prior to play

Complimentary Driving Range balls

Prizes for numerous on-the-course skills¡¯ challenges

Hot lunch at Tamer¡¯s Restaurant, Panther¡¯s Clubhouse, following play

The South Brunswick Islands Rotary Club donates 100% of the net proceeds from the Fore! Kids Golf

Tournament to the children, youth, and young adults of Brunswick County. Not a single penny is used to

cover the cost of normal club operations which are funded by our membership dues. In 2019, the South

Brunswick Islands Rotary Foundation was formed to become the charitable arm of the Rotary Club of South

Brunswick Islands. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit, with tax ID 82-5054684, so that donors can take advantage of the

tax-deductible portions of their donations.

Dictionary Program ¨C every third-grade student in Brunswick County receives his or her own Dictionary.

WBHS Interact Club for students to improve their leadership & interpersonal skills.

Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) for high school juniors to attend a weekend Leadership Conference.

Leadership Conference in Atlanta, Georgia for high school students to learn from our Nation¡¯s Leaders.

Brunswick Community College scholarship endowment fund

WBHS students by annually awarding several academic and one band scholarship.

Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts projects through work parties and contributions.

STARS Summer Literacy Program which prevents summer-slide with intensive reading intervention.

Third Grade Book project for Jessie Mae Monroe, Union Elementary and Waccamaw Elementary.

CIS Success Coaching Program at Waccamaw Elementary for tutoring, and mentoring.

Many other projects that benefit the educational and holistic needs of children in our County

On a District Level, SBI partners with other Rotary Clubs to support the Boys¡¯ Rotary Cottage at the

North Carolina Boys and Girls Home at Lake Waccamaw.
