Raising money for our school just got un-BAAAA-lievably fun!!! Join us for our first ever OCS community GOAT YOGA class. For $50 a ticket enjoy an organic yoga flow alongside baby goats, lots of cuddle and photo time with the cute barnyard friends, a chance to win a Mama made craft, yoga apparel, OCS merchandise and other great prizes, healthy refreshments and wonderful company! Come welcome the new moon with us on January 25th. 4pm-5:30 Laughing Frog Yoga, Santa Monica. Get your tickets now! Space is limited. OPTING-IN TO THE TEXT ALERT SYSTEM:

     Ocean Charter School encourages you to opt-in to the Del Rey and/or Westchester Emergency Text Alert System. This system allows OCS Administrators to text parents and guardians immediately in the event of an emergency. The texts will inform parents and guardians of real-time emergencies, and any instructions pertaining to the emergency. Please note you will not be able to respond to the text alert; it contains outgoing information only. OCEAN CHARTER SCHOOL AIR QUALITY POLICY:

Ocean Charter School is dedicated to monitoring the quality of our air on a daily, and regular, basis. Our staff performs air quality checks via physical observation as well as referring to and . When the air quality reaches levels (AQI 100+) that affect individuals of sensitive groups, such as children, OCS will call for recess, games, and other vigorous activities to take place indoors. Teachers will be reminded to keep windows and doors closed. Ocean Charter School is also alerted by the LAUSD Charter Schools division of air quality issues requiring school closure. Thank you for your support and cooperation in keeping our students' health a top priority. 

DROP-OFF/PICK-UP COURTESY - BRADDOCK NEIGHBORS & VALET ETIQUETTE:

We ask our community to please be mindful of others when dropping off and picking up their students. Please be sure to follow traffic laws, avoid double parking, and do not make illegal u-turns so we can ensure the safety and respect of our Braddock neighbors. We also ask those who choose to use the valet to stay in your vehicle, refrain from talking while in the valet line, and help keep the flow of the valet running smoothly. Thank you for your cooperation. 

 

DR CAMPUS AFTER SCHOOL ACTIVITIES:                                                                                       

There are still spaces available in the classes listed below. Class flyers, applications, and the payment contract are available on our website at (scroll to the bottom) and in the DR front office.

• Theater – Ignite the imagination with Ms. Tanya from Creative Actors Studio.

• Yoga – Strengthen the body and mind with Ms. Christel. 

• Spanish – Explore culture and language with Profe Ivonne. (Grades only-Kinder class is full)
