Children: A study of probate records, published in 1965, by Mrs. J.E. Barclay, shows that, despite earlier statements, John Carver was survived by only 8 children and had only 9 children, none of whom was named Rebecca, so she is deleted from the list we published in 1966. 3-3 +1.
