The corporation is organized pursuant to the Georgia Nonprofit Corporation Code. This corporation is organized exclusively for religious, charitable, and educational purposes within the meaning of Section 501 (c) (3) code of the Internal Revenue Code.

Article 5.

The corporation will have members without certificates or shares of stock. Members of the corporation shall be those persons who meet the eligibility requirements for membership as set forth in the Bylaws of the Corporation.

Article 6.

This corporation is subject to the control of no other ecclesiastical body, but it recognizes and sustains the obligations of mutual counsel and cooperation which are common among Southern Baptist churches. Sample Baptist Church will cooperate with and support the local association, Georgia Baptist Convention, and Southern Baptist Convention.

Article 7.

Upon dissolution of the corporation, assets shall be distributed to the current local association and state convention to assist with current or future church planting projects.

Article 8.
