Continuing Education for External Audiences

College of Public Health - 2011-2020:

Ohio Institute Co-Director (along with Josh Filla), worked with the Ohio Municipal Clerks Association (OMCA) to implement ongoing training delivered to support the education and certification of Municipal Clerks in Ohio for the International Institute of Municipal Clerks (IIMC), 2008-present. Between 2011 and Spring 2019, accomplishments include:

- Training more than 1,000 individuals seeking IIMC Institute training to support their certification as Municipal Clerks.

o Collectively, these individuals participated in about 4,500 separate training sessions, an average of between 4 and 5 training sessions per individual.

- Overseeing administration of 25 separate training events.

o A total of 148 individual training sessions were offered through those events.

- Achieving positive evaluation feedback on the training sessions offered.

o More than 90% of evaluation responses have indicated that participants would recommend the training session they attended to a colleague.
