STLGA Standing Rules1. League day is Wednesday. The cost to participate in the day’s game is $2. Once a month we play “closest to the pin” on par 3’s. If you choose to play, the cost is $1. Our weekly games are not considered tournaments. Weekly games are governed by USGA Rules of Golf.2. Saturday at noon is the deadline for signing up to play the following Wednesday. You may sign up in the computer room in the Jones/Byrd Clubhouse or online at the Sea Trail Master Association website. To sign-up on line, go to . Click on the menu item Golf Groups, select STLGA, and complete the online Sign-up Form. Submissions are time-stamped.If you miss the sign-up deadline, call the month’s pairings coordinators and ask if there’s room for you to play. Check the STLGA Weekly Tournament Schedule to get the coordinator names. They may or may not be able to accommodate you. 3. Tee times and pairings are posted online on the Sea Trail Master Association website as soon as they are available. Go to , and click on Golf Groups, STLGA, Weekly Pairings, and the date of play. If the date doesn’t appear, that means the pairings have not yet been posted. 4. If you need to cancel, please call the pairings coordinators as soon as possible. If you cancel on the day of play you should also call the clubhouse to avoid possible monetary charges, per Sea Trail Resort Golf Rules.5. Please arrive at the clubhouse at least 30 minutes before your scheduled tee time. Check-in at the pro shop and then locate the tournament coordinators to sign-in and pay the entry fee for the day’s game. Occasionally cancellations result in changes to tee times and groups, so arriving early is helpful to everyone.If you arrive after your tee time and your group has already teed off, you may play with the group but you may not participate in the game. Any birdies and/or chip-ins you have are not official. This is non-negotiable, so please do not ask the tournament coordinators to make an exception.If you have a medical condition that prevents you from playing the game according to the USGA Rules of Golf, you may not participate in the game and your birdies and/or chip-ins are not official.6. You will receive credit for playing if inclement weather causes the tournament coordinators to cancel play. Credit is given only if you did not previously cancel.7. Guests are welcome to play in the game of the week, space permitting, but they are not eligible to compete for prizes.8. If you are 75 years or older you have automatic eligibility for STLGA special tournaments – Charm, Two-Member, Four-Member, and Club Championship.9.
