General InformationIf you have received a new or replacement phone, please activate it first.If your phone is active and can send and receive calls, then proceed to Installing MobileIron. To avoid syncing conflicts, you must remove any previous WAXIE accounts from your phoneMobileIron will notify you if your device is not compliant with the security policies and configurationsThe guide will configure the following items:Google Gmail Account Sign-inMobileIron Mobile@Work Registration4-digit lock screen passcodeConfigure Email AccessRemove your old WAXIE email account (if applicable)Uninstall Restricted Applications (if applicable)Physical Button LayoutFor more information visit: Your PhoneIf you have received a new or replacement phone, you must activate it before setting up your email.If your phone is already able to make and receive calls then please proceed to the next section. Press and hold the side button for 3 seconds to power on the phoneSelect English and NextYour phone should now be activated. Click Start the setup wizard to continueClick NextUncheck Restore my contacts and Documents, then press NextClick SkipClick NextMark the box to the right of Verizon Location ServicesClick Agree to enable Verizon Location ServicesMark the box to the right of Standalone GPS ServicesClick Agree to enable Standalone GPS servicesMark the box to the right of Google Location ServicesSelect Agree to enable Google Location ServicesAfter all Location services have been enabled, press NextClick Next to continueClick Next to enter your Google AccountSelect Yes Enter your Google Email Address and Password and press DoneUncheck the box and click OKSelect Not nowIf prompted to set up your credit card, select Not nowUncheck both boxes and click the arrow in the right cornerClick Done to finish the setup wizardInstalling and Configuring MobileIronClick Play StoreSelect the magnifying glass at the top to open the search fieldType mobileiron then click the magnifying glass in the bottom right cornerSelect Mobile@Work by MobileIronClick InstallClick Accept & download to install MobileIronAfter the download has finished click OpenEnter mdm. as the server addressClick AcceptEnter the 6-digit Registration PIN from the MIS email and select RegisterNote: If you do not have a Registration PIN, please contact help@Click ActivateClick Activate againClick InstallClick NextSelect the checkbox next to Unknown sourcesClick OK to allow applications from unknown sources The box should now be checked, press the reverse arrow button at the bottom of the screen to go backClick InstallClick Package Install then AlwaysClick InstallClick DoneClick ActivateClick Activate againPress Go to Email SetupAt the bottom press Set PasscodeSelect PINEnter a 4-digit PIN/Passcode and select ContinueWAXIE recommends that you use the last 4 digits of your cell phone numberRe-enter your PIN and press OK to confirmSelect Enter PasswordEnter your WAXIE Account Password, then click OKSelect Begin SetupClick OK on the Activation windowsClick OK to update the device securityClick Activate to finish MobileIron setupAccessing EmailSelect the Email icon from main screen You will now be at your InboxRemoving Previous WAXIE AccountsOpen AppsFind and select SettingsSelect Corporate or Microsoft ActiveSync under AccountsClick the account nameClick Remove accountClick Remove account again to delete the accountUninstall ApplicationsEmail will not function if restricted applications are detected. You must remove these apps to sync with WAXIE.Open AppsFind and select SettingsFind and select Application managerClick the application you want to uninstall.
