Self-Love False Beliefs and Healing Affirmations

1. I believe that I need to be perfect in order to be lovable.

Healing Affirmation: I’m beautiful and lovable just as I am—I am perfect just as I am. It is OK to make mistakes and be vulnerable—you are still lovable no matter what!

2. I think there is something inherently defective about me.

Healing Affirmation: I am whole, complete and lovable just as I am. I am a divine being of light and love and that is the true nature of my very being.

3. I’m not a nice enough person.

Healing Affirmation: I know I am a kind person and I don’t need to prove that to anybody.

4. I’m not a loving enough person.

Healing Affirmation: I know I am a very loving person and I don’t need to prove that to anybody.

5. I think that I need to prove to others that I am lovable.

Healing Affirmation: I’m lovable just as I am—nothing can change that—and I don’t need to prove it to anyone.

6. If someone is upset with me---I’m not lovable.

Healing Affirmation: If someone is upset with me it has more to do with them and me—It does not make me unlovable. I am lovable even if I make a mistake or upset someone else—it does not change my inherent worth and value.

7. If I don’t keep my house clean---I’m not lovable.

Healing Affirmation: My house is not a reflection of my worth and lovability. I am worthy and whole no matter what my house looks like.

8. If I’m not perfect at doing my job—I’m not lovable.

Healing Affirmation: I do my best at my job but I don’t need to be perfect. I am lovable and worthy no matter what my performance is like at my job.

9. I compare myself to others and always fall short.

Healing Affirmation: I am unique and special just as I am. When I compare myself to others I am losing sight of my own beauty and magnificence. I gently bring my attention back to myself in a positive way by saying, “They are wonderful and so am I.”

10. I judge the way my body looks.

Healing Affirmation: I love my body just as it is right now. I see the beauty in the parts of me that I used to judge and it feels wonderful. I release the pattern of judging my body forever.

11. I don’t think I have any gifts or talents.

Healing Affirmation: I have so many amazing gifts and talents and I have many more that I am excited to uncover.

12. I get nervous around new people because I want them to like me.

Healing Affirmation: Just relax and be yourself---I love you no matter what—just be yourself—say what you feel like saying---do what you feel like doing. I love you no matter what others think of you.

13. I’m afraid of judgments from other people.

Healing Affirmation: Judgment from other people has more to do with them than you---you are loveable and worthy even if someone judges you. I will support you not to take other’s judgments personally.
