The book may be a novel, a children’s book, a collection of poetry, a book of favourite recipes or any other subject.This course is not to help you write your book but to guide you design and prepare your book for publication either as a traditional book printed on paper or as an e-book.We will use Adobe InDesign (a trial version is available free of charge for one month) to learn how to format pages, chapters, illustrations and all other essential components of a book.One session will be dedicated to the procedures necessary to have your book accepted for Print-On-Demand ( POD ) and available for sale on Amazon and Kindle.Additional Course Supplies: Useful to have a laptop but not essential Instructor Bio: Before retirement I spent 35 years both as a teacher and a trainer of teachers.Photography has been my hobby since I was ten years old.Since retirement I have co-authored nine published books all of which I designed and formatted. I have also designed and published four books for European authors. I am currently working on a further six books, some of which will be published later this year. No classes when schools are closed in Sackville.Scent-Free. Some people are sensitive to perfume and other scents. Please respect a scent-free environment by not using scented products. Thank you.Attendance/Absenteeism. TSC instructors are volunteers who work very hard to prepare courses. Your cooperation is appreciated in letting them know if you are unable to attend as most instructors plan for the number of students who registered in the course.
