EXTERIOR INTERACTIVE RENDERING SUBMITTAL PROCESS

The Choice Hotels Exterior Renovation Guidelines have been developed together with the Sherwin-Williams Color Marketing & Design Department to assist Choice Hotels properties with their Exterior Renovation efforts. This guide provides information on pre-approved paint colors for the Choice Hotel brands as well as steps on how to submit a custom request for approval.

HOW TO REQUEST AN INTERACTIVE RENOVATION RENDERING

Contact your local Sherwin-Williams Rep (not the store). If you don't have a Rep, please email andrew.r.hall@. Include Choice ID# and full address.

Andrew will have a Rep contact you.

STEP 1

Provide multiple Exterior images of the property to be revnovated for rendering purposes. If images do not already exist,

Rep will take photos for submittal.

STEP 2

Sherwin-Williams Rep will submit the images to Color Marketing & Design

for rendering.

STEP 3

The Sherwin-Williams Rep receives a link to the interactive rendering site from Color Marketing & Design and shares with the franchisee/manager.*

STEP 4

Review your digital rendering. Using the interactive toolbar and preloaded paint colors you can make real-time

color changes to your rendering.

STEP 5

Download the PDF of your final rendering. Franchisee sends PDF with property ID# and brand to Choice Architectural for approval.*

SUBMITTING A RENDERING REQUEST PHOTO IMAGING: PHOTO TAKING TIPS

INFORMATION FOR SHERWIN-WILLIAMS SALES REPRESENTATIVES

Select 1-3 schemes that they would like to see rendered on their building

Review with your customer their hotel's brand standards, colors are located on CMS

Submit photos and color information to Color Marketing & Design via the CM&D portal at cmd.

Use landscape orientation when applicable, and make sure to center image in view window. You may need

to photograph multiple angles.

HDR

Avoid heavy shadows.

Always shoot in HDR mode. It will provide 2 images to choose from

when sending.

Do not zoom in on the structure, or use the flash.

Use the volume up button when in the Camera app to snap photo ? this avoids

camera shake entirely.

Use the camera app shortcut, swipe left, hold down the icon on bottom right icon

or swipe down from the top right corner of the home screen

Minimize obstructions.
