Seven Bible commentaries and study Bibles give seven very different outlines. But while most of them disagree on the high level outline, they tend to agree on the smaller parts. Perhaps that is how Joel is to be understood: as many sharp but brief warnings from the heart, rather than a long, highly structured treatise like Lamentations is. ................
