Benefits to using the AIM Bovine On Line System

➢ Benefits of using the online Animal Identification and Movement System (AIM)

Saves time; immediate access to information regarding your herd; less paperwork; view your error letters on screen in real time; it is free to sign up to the system.

➢ AIM is available for use on a PC, Laptop, Tablet and Mobile Phone. AIM tutorials are available on agfood.ie and YouTube – search DAFM AIM on YouTube

The following facilities are available to you when using the AIM online system -

✓ Register Bovine Calf Births

✓ View your Herd Profile – by tag number, date of birth, gender, date moved in, TB test date, see movements in and out of herd between specified dates, multiple births and herd register reports.

✓ Use AIM as your herd register (no need for Blue Book) – to avail of this you will be required to sign up for the “Bovine Electric Herd Register”. This will require you to enter an email address and to accept the Terms and Conditions.

✓ View individual bovine animal details – date of birth, gender, dam, movements, progeny

✓ Create/Apply for Certificates of Compliance (farm to farm movements). The system will automatically advise where a certificate cannot be generated and the reason for non-issue.

✓ Notify a farm to farm movement on line.

✓ Sign up to Farm Software Providers.

✓ Check movement eligibility for of bovine animal/s in advance of a move.

✓ Enter Sheep/Goat census online

➢ How to Register with agfood on Line Services Account facility

Access to the agfood On Line Services allows a keeper to access a number of schemes and applications including but not limited to the following : Animal Identification and Movement (AIM); Beef Data Genomics Programme (2015-2010);Direct Payments ; Geographic Information System; Nitrates Derogation and Nitrogen &Phosphorous Statements; Sheep Welfare Scheme ; TAMS etc.

Register for access to this system at agfood.ie - To register for this system, keepers in addition to personal data, will require their PPSN number, email address, phone number, and date of birth. A PAC number will then issue by post.
