|October 6th |INSTRUCTIONS: create your own comic book, look at the template in the link below to create it. |

| |“How can you draw INFERENCES from the text based on what is stated?” |

| |EXPLICITLY and IMPLICITLY |

| |What is an INFERENCE? A conclusion drawn from evidence or reasoning; “reading between lines” |

| |What is EXPLICIT? Clearly and directly stated; leaving no question about the meaning. |

| |What is IMPLICIT? Not directly stated, but understood in what is expressed |

| |Now you will use all this information to make your draw your own inferences with the following pictures. |
