Once you start treating skin conditions habits die-hard! You do the first thing that comes into your head or have been told or scavenge from the BNF, thereafter you always do the same thing. This may not lead to rational therapy and leaves you stuck when confronted with lesions that do not respond (so re think the diagnosis!).

To counter this it is sensible to work out your own treatment plan or guideline plus the addition of tips and wrinkles for when things go awry.
