Tea, located just minutes from Sioux Falls, South Dakota's largest city, we have all the opportunities of the city while maintaining a "small town" atmosphere. Whether you live or work in Tea, thinking of moving here, or are just visiting, we hope you find all that you are looking for Population - 5,000. Tea is a growing town that has 2 elementary schools and a middle school.

The Tea Area School District 41-5 is driven by the mission "To Educate and Empower Each Student for Success in a Global Society". The district is one of the fastest growing districts in South Dakota. The fall 2016 enrollment for the district was 1710. Currently, TASD is comprised of two JK-4 elementary schools, a grades 5-8 middle school and grades 9-12 high school.

Tea Area High School is located on the west side of the town at 500 W. Brian St (map). Tea Area High School's first graduating class was comprised of nine students in 2004. The class of 2017 was comprised of 104 graduating students.
