Heartthrob and crooner Usher Raymond sits down with “O ...



Although two ships having passed in the night now, Angelina Jolie and her ex girlfriend, model Jenny Shimizu are kindred spirits or sorts: they both just got married.

Shimizu, 47, a former Japanese-American Calvin Klein model (who you probably remember being on the judging panel of America’s Next Top Model) just married her new girlfriend, socialite Michelle Harper and as we reported, Jolie finally tied the knot with long-time boyfriend actor Brad Pitt.

Like Brad Pitt [on the set of] Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Jolie met and fell in love with Shimizu while on set of working on a film in 1996 called Foxfire. Angelina however, was married to her first husband at the time British actor: Jonny Lee Miller but while (at the time-1997) interviewing with the magazine Girlfriends, despite being married, she couldn’t deny the sparks that flew between she and Shimizu. "I would probably have married Jenny Shimizu if I hadn't married my husband. I fell in love with her the first second I saw her."

While in a 20/20 interview with Barbara Walters years later, Jolie opened up about her “very sexual” nature where she discussed Shimizu saying [quote] "I was surprised when I suddenly found myself having these feelings I always had for men, but for a woman…and wanting to kiss her…and wanting to touch her."

Obviously, life has gone on for the two since then. Angie has since divorced Jonny Lee Miller, and had gone on to marry actor-director Billy Bob Thornton. They were married for three years and divorced in 2003.

In 2005 Jolie and Pitt became engaged in 2008 and finally tied the knot on August 23. News or their nuptials was a pleasant surprise as pictures of the couple having married at their Southern France estate in a private ceremony caught all of news media off-guard. Angelina told Hello! Magazine, "It's a wonderful feeling to be married, the children are so happy," she said about she and Brad’s six adopted children.

Meanwhile, back on the other side of the globe, Jolie’s ex girlfriend got married (too). Photos of the bride wearing her voluminous gown were released to the media on September 3.

Shimizu and Harper met at a 2012 party, and Schimizu told the New York Times [about meeting Harper] “I didn’t believe it myself until I saw it. It’s like so many things about her. There are these misconceptions and generalizations that don’t fit this person who is full of spirit and down-to-earthiness."

Shimizu is also romantically linked to singer Madonna, unlike Shimizu and Jolie, is still playing with (and dropping off) her boy toys, despite a contagion of love being in the air throughout Tinseltown.

On August 2, she, along with her boy toy Timor Steffans and her adopted and birth children set sail for the South of France whereby before the clock ticked and she turned 56, the Material Girl dropped and docked her boy toy nine days-in (on her son Rocco’s birthday). From there, Madonna and her tribe all set sail on to Ibiza.

No particular reason was stated (as to why she gave him his walking papers) but according to our sources Madonna just wasn’t that into Timor despite their hanging out pretty much all 2014 together.

In an interview, Timor told The Daily Mirror Newspaper “There is an age gap between me and Madonna but I don’t notice it. My girlfriends have always been older than me and that’s how I like it. I learn a lot. Mum is a big inspiration. She is a fighter, a strong independent woman, and any relationship I’ve had in the past was mostly with women that are independent and like to have an opinion.”

It’s being speculated and believed that-that interview, and that quote is what got Timor left sitting at the dock of the bay while Madonna sailed on.

No matter how mmmM good and fitting the noun-jectives ‘Madge’ or ‘Mum’ may sound, in place of how much easier and convenient they are to say and sound-[because of] two less syllables than the three syllables in: ‘Ma-don-na;’ despite any harmless intent, you will take your time and use those three syllables, or else. Just ask Timor—when you find him.



Tameka Raymond, formerly married to Usher, is one of the driving forces behind new hit show Atlanta Exes. Already making a name for herself on the show as a drama starter with a ‘don’t care who I piss off’ attitude, Tameka’s ultra-famous ex is now speaking out about his former wife participating in a reality show which could very possibly put him and their former marriage in the hot seat! 

There’s been rumors that Usher was extremely unhappy about Tamekapotentially airing dirty laundry by appearing on the show, and he was allegedly worried that her inclusion in the reality TV world could damage his reputation. 

Usher denies all this! “No, no. I have no feelings about it whatsoever,” Usher insists. “Actually, I haven’t even seen it.” Ushers two children with Tameka will not be part of the show.

When asked if there’s a reason he hasn’t been tuning in to watch his ex-wife’s debut on TV, Usher assures us that there are no nefarious reasons! “I’ve been kinda busy, raising kids and you know making records …,” he told Dish Nation – including hostess Porsha Stewart! 

When asked about Tameka continuing to use his last name (and insisting on being addressed by her married name when she was a guest on Dish Nation),Usher said he’s fine with that… for now! “Uh, she married me…,” he quipped.

“I’ll marry again. And when I do, you know, I don’t wanna have a harem, you know what I’m saying, so it’s just like — I just hope that ummm, when I do, it’ll be a departure.” Well, Tameka Foster it looks like your days being the former Mrs. Raymond are numbered… time to get famous using your maiden name, girl! 

Usher also announced the launch of his new US tour and revealed that he likely will not be returning to The Voice! “It wasn’t expected to be a forever deal,” he explained.

TELL US – SHOULD TAMEKA GIVE BACK USHER’S LAST NAME? DO YOU THINK HE WATCHES ATLANTA EXES?

 

It was exactly seven whole days ago that we all heard Joan Rivers was rush to Mount Sinai Hospital after having trouble breathing following a throat procedure she had done there. Shortly after, we were informed that her “having trouble breathing,” was due to the fact that she went into cardiac arrest. From there, we were informed that she was in a medically induced coma but resting comfortably.

Unfortunately, the world got news today that at 1:17 p.m., Rivers died as a result.

Sources close to insiders of this terrible news stated that the family are carefully considering a lawsuit because the healthy 81 year-old woman went in for the routine throat procedure and was administered a lethal dose of Propofol which they believe, may be linked to the reason why she went into cardiac arrest.

The staff at the clinic where the procedure was performed (Yorkville Endoscopy Clinic) the NYC authorities that Joan Rivers had stopped breathing “just as [they] were putting her under anesthesia for the [routine] procedure.

According the an insider of the investigation, when paramedics arrived they were met by doctors frantically trying to resuscitate Rivers by trying to shove a tube down her throat. Although, according to the insider, she was “in very bad shape,” the paramedics were able to get her breathing again (after administering CPR).

After days of being in a medically induced coma, although “resting comfortably;” Melissa was told that pretty much nothing further could be done. After which, she was forced with the decision as to whether she should take her off life support or no…

Yorkville Endoscopy Clinic is being investigated to determine if Rivers was given too high a does of [the same drug that killed Michael Jackson] which, according to reports, is routinely used for colonoscopy and endoscopy procedures.

The funny lady who made us all laugh in life, was still humorous about death (while living) and now that that time has come, it is eerily a case of art imitating life with instructions at death.

In her 2012 book: I Hate Everyone…Starting With Me, Rivers dedicated an entire chapter about death, and funerals.

WHAT JOAN WANTS FOR HER OWN FUNERAL:

"When I die, I want my funeral to be a huge showbiz affair with lights, cameras, action...I want Craft services, I want paparazzi and I want publicists making a scene! I want it to be Hollywood all the way. I don't want some rabbi rambling on;  I want Meryl Streep crying, in five different accents. I don't want a eulogy; I want Bobby Vinton to pick up my head and sing "Mr. Lonely." I want to look gorgeous, better dead than I do alive. I want to be buried in a Valentino gown and I want Harry Winston to make me a toe tag. And I want a wind machine so that even in the casket my hair is blowing just like Beyoncé's."

JOAN JOLT ON OBITUARIES:

"I love the obituaries. To me, obituaries are just wedding announcements without the pictures. I read the obituaries carefully, the way Lindsay Lohan reads her Miranda rights."

JOANS JOLT ON PEOPLE WHO DIE OF NATURAL CAUSES:

"I hate people who die of natural causes; they just don't understand the moment. It's the grand finale, act three, the eleven o'clock number — make it count. If you're going to die, die interesting! Is there anything worse than a boring death? I think not. When my time comes I'm going to go out in highs type. hoped that her own funeral would feature a wind-machine so that her hair, while in the casket, would blow like Beyonce’s (whose September 4 birthday she died on).

May she rest in peace, she will be missed.

Sorry that the #Beyangency left note to toll her absence, but while yous were wishing “#HappyBirthdayBeyonce,” she was flying up, up and away, then sailing away…in Corsica.

One would think that with all this touring around North America and then back On The Run (to France) to “Bey” (be) continued; the singing powerhouse and her hubby Jay Z would opt for a some chill R&R for her 33rd birthday today.

Well, according to our sources, in keeping with family tradition; she and hubby (along with Blue Ivy) took a private jet at Bastia-Poretta airport in Corsica then jet-set the Drunk in Love couple out for that chill R&R: in the South of France.

The Love On Top diva and her husband pulled no punches. It’s said that to top off their getaway, they rented a yacht that cost somewhere around 800,000 per week.

Well, indeed they’ll be set back for around $800,000 exactly-because as we told you, on September 12 (and 13th), Bey-Z are slated to perform both days at Stade de France in Paris-which will be filmed for an HBO concert special airing on September 20. So from where they are vacationing, they’ll be rowing that boat then taking a red-eye right back across town to get back down to business.

Until then, as a treat for her fans in acknowledgement and thanks for the kind birthday wishes, the XO singer posted a darling piece of nostalgia of (the then) little Bey:

Meanwhile, back at the fort of Parkwood Entertainment, her staff gave the traveling birthday girl a special surprise: a creative seventeen seconds of footage of a cake they made-showing the process of putting candles in, blowing them out, removing them, and cutting the very first piece of cake for her-wishing she could be there to share.

Meanwhile, Bey's staff over at Parkwood Entertainment gave her a special surprise in honor of her big day.

An adorable throwback pic (it is Thursday, after all) of her with a birthday-themed party hat was posted on the Grammy winner's website earlier today, along with a sweet video of a cake made just for Queen Bey.

The clip of someone cutting a slice of cake was accompanied by the following heartfelt message: "It's B Day! The Parkwood Entertainment family has taken over a small slice of to send a special birthday wish. Happy Birthday, Beyoncé and may this new year of life be sweeter than them all!"

Beyoncé, Jay Z And Blue Ivy Vacation In Corsica For Singer's 33rd Birthday

Happy birthday to the one, the only, Beyoncé! The self-proclaimed diva turns 33 this year and in keeping with tradition, she traveled overseas to enjoy some quality down time with her family. Jay Z, Blue Ivy and Yoncé were all spotted arriving on a private jet at Bastia-Poretta airport in Corsica, where they're expected to enjoy a peaceful vacation in the South of France. According to a source, Jay tipped their hostess on the private jet a hefty sum of €500, and when she returned to provide him with change, the rapper laughed and refused to accept. The Carters have also reportedly chartered a luxury yacht that rents for around $800,000 per week.

Alicia Keys, a musician, a singer, wife, and mommy; is about the music.

Many artists (whether a writer, singer, or musician) tend to use the analogy dropping “our baby” when we release a project-namely because all of the life breathed into making it: the blood, sweat and the tears.

Well Alicia Keys often drops her babies during the November and December months, but this time, just recently revealed she will be dropping a baby-literally-in December confirmed Alicia, in an interview on September 3, 2014: "December album? Well, I know one thing. I'm having a December baby.”

That’s right.

We were already surprised when the pics of her music producer husband Swizzz and Alicia (looking to be good and well into her second/third trimester) dropped on social media to their fans, who had no idea Alicia was even pregnant!

Mommyhood this second time around, is a complete about-face, considering the fact that we all watched her grow (all three trimesters), and even watched her continued to work

…and blossom right in front of the world.

Well, after some time, the private couple shared that child (Egypt) with the world who fans watched grow and love……and call by his given nickname: “Egy” (Egypt).

Egy, who will be 4 in October, born into a family of music had no choice but to be influenced.

"He's a little music fanatic. He has all this rhythm. He loves to dance. He can play drums. He can beatbox," said Alicia while at an event to launch her new Givenchy perfume: “Dahlia Divin.”

She continued, “I think that you do see how just the influence of music and perhaps it is in the DNA, and perhaps it is a part of the magic of what's inside of the parents that it's coming through him."

Keys’ last studio Grammy-winning album “Girl on Fire” was released in 2012. Although she is coy about dropping the date for her next “baby”, if you’re a fan, then you know it’s no secret that production on it will include work by funkuristic producing phenom Pharrell Williams, who as well, will be a judge on this season’s The Voice, premiering Monday, September 8.

Alicia did reveal this much about the album:

"What I know for a fact is it's the best music I've ever done in my life yet and it's really exciting to be able to have this kind of growth, this type of opportunity. The music's actually pretty much done already and so you'll be hearing some of it soon."

If you read between the lines of this write-up well, then you know that although I told you she is due in December, I purposely neglected to tell you the baby’s sex…

Well…the only other news I can offer you is that Alicia will appear as a guest mentor on The Voice and her new perfume will be available at Macy’s New York flagship store…

Sex of baby? Although known (by she and Swizzz), it’s top secret-not yet ready to drop that, or share is with the world as yet.

Blu Cantrell famous for the 2001 hit Hit Em Up Style made quite the comeback…sort of.



After suffering from an episode of “NoLongerFamousAndHowToFuqAmIGonnaGetBackUpInTheGameWithAllThisFluffAndStuff” kirking out in the streets of Santa Monica screaming that somebody was trying to kill her with a poisonous gas, some concerned citizen (knowing nothing about “who she was” at that moment—or at one time, ever) called authorities to check the situation out.

Upon their arrival, whatever psychosis (or possibly drunken) episode she was having, she was coherent enough to pull the “do you know who I am?” card.

Obviously, like many reading this now, the authorities had no idea “who she was” however, the defunct diva humbly informed the cops she [indeed] was a “one hit wonder.”

Rather than getting arrested and taken to jail her for the public outburst, she was taken to a nearby hospital for a psychiatric evaluation.

No word from her “camp” (stated our source) who attempted to reach a rep on Blu’s behalf-to no avail.

Blu Cantrell slid onto the scene in 2001 after experiencing a commonly sought or dreamt of experience for some dreaming of fame: Some stranger walking up and claiming you look like a model [or some famous occupation, person or thing].

Well, in her case, it did. She says a guy walked up to her says “you look like a singer.”

Although she never lead on to just who that singer was, around the time she had her hit, she was being compared to singer Faith Evans [and too, alleged to have been linked romantically to Jay Z—before he was a married man].

She came (and went) in 2001.

Now, life has changed and evolved with technology and such and the next time we hear-tale of anything about a Blu Cantrell, unfortunately, was--this story.

Other Side of the Fame already broke the news to you about Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon having been separated since around June. As well, there were some pretty disparaging remarks made by Nick’s dad that dropped jaws of many in his audience on social media because they “seemed” like indirect statements about superstar Mariah Carey and his son/her husband: Nick Cannon [and the state of their marriage].

With a legal muzzle having been put on Nick’s mouth at the time, his dad’s remarks gave way to a lot of speculation that the remarks were indeed Mariah-centered.

Although Nick’s dad deleted some of his remarks, he vehemently denied they were at all about Carey.

For the record, Mariah, who never says anything outside of her love for Christmas and Valentines Day, #DemBabies (her term of endearment for the love of her two children), or small talk about whatever product or album she is promoting; she’s never been one for using Twitter as a sounding board-or to address any rumors or speculation [even throughout all that’s been made messy, public, and speculated].

Well today, Nick has broken his silence and wanted to give the world a piece of his mind.

In this day and age, when you have a legal “gag order” ya’ gotta be real specific…’cause fingers aint ‘gag’ unless you stick one in your mouth. So…here we go:

But then again, he couldn’t be talking about me because it’s been nothing but love for Mariah Carey around these parts and mad love and respect for her social media “mum” game (as I mentioned in my blog). Anybody who would talk badly about Mariah Carey (especially around this time) would be plain as day playing with their on presumptions and imaginings in their own heads. Because Mariah offers NO leads or leeway for anybody to know anything about her person OR personality behind social media walls.

...So he must be talking about some other blog sites, right?

I’ve always loved them as a couple, just too bad that I didn’t start blogging until November 2013 and there’s no past chronicle of blog love and adoration for the two of them as a couple. Unfortunately, having been blogging ten months, what I have under a “Nick Cannon” or “Mariah Carey” search is all I got/been in the news and world of entertainment.

Last night was pretty special and monumental for VH1 not only for VH1 taking some time out of honor their reality, humble beginning and original meaning of their moniker “Video Hits”[1]; but last night was special because they stuck to the music and gave the fans something that was a long time coming: a peek into the origin of the ATL music scene. For the first time on the appropriate platform, they were able to tell their story about having come from the bottom of the map--how they had to have their voice found and heard [having been dominated by the usual suspects: east, then west coast rap/music].

Even as far back as (my era can recollect) Kriss Kross (1990), for nearly a century now, the Atlanta rap music scene has been making hits that still, somehow despite the success, would somehow find its way back shuffled to the back of the deck [when up against/next to/shoulder to shoulder/toe to toe- or whatever you want to call it]-the east and west coast rap.

Produced by Atlanta rapper-actor Chris Bridges (a.k.a Ludacris) the 90-minute Rockumentary premiered on VH1 last night, and featured some of ATL’s biggest stars telling their stories about how the south’s (collectively) influenced the world and ATL exclusively. Additionally, the rockumentary tells of how SoSo Def mogul (Jermaine Dupri) and LaFace Records’ (L.A Reid and Babyface) managed to shine the spotlight on the city through the artists the housed and skills they honed.

Given credit [and considered] being Atlanta’s first rapper, “Mojo” was interviewed, MC Shy D (popular in the 1980s) and those we automatically think of in connection with ATL rap: [the surviving member of] Kriss Kross, Outkast, Arrested Development, Goodie Mob, Killer Mike were also interviewed.

As well, the rockumentary does a good job of learning the origins of the crunk scene by which rapper’s Lil’ Jon is thought to be the force behind and too, the origin of the trap music scene thought to be spearheaded by rapper T.I.

Anyone who fancies themselves rap buffs of all regions and too, has a special place in their hearts for Atlanta hip-hop will surely enjoy the rockumentary-as it sparks up nostalgia about the music and social culture originated (as still remains) very much apart of the ATL.

The VH1 documentary is full of nostalgia of great Atlanta hip-hop music. Whether you’re a history buff or the casual rap fan, the ‘ATL: The Untold Story of Atlanta’s Rise in the Rap Game’ is a must watch.

Before we get too far wrapped up into thinking that the only person nominated for [the 17th Annual] British GQ award lay around nude on grey satin sheets and a blonde wig, dually [take note of] this: substance as well, was awarded.

Funkuristic music producing phenom Pharrell Williams was too awarded in London—nudies not included. However, along with the raven haired beauty [Kim Kardashian]-he walked the red carpet. But feel free to enjoy the handsome lad’s fully-clothed photo shoot in the trailer advertising the magazine coveted issue:



Pharrell received British GQ’s Man of the Year award which took place at the Royal Opera House September 2 humbly stating: “I know you guys are, like, ‘Enough – we get it, you’re happy,’” Pharrell told British GQ (with regard to his popular, catchy hit song).

“I don’t really deserve Best Solo Artist. My team, my friends and my family deserve this award because it was a collective effort. I also want to take this moment to acknowledge Yves Carcelle.”

Kim and Pharrell are only two of six entertainers gracing the cover of the magazine’s Men of the Year Issue. Other recipients are Van Morrison, Jonah Hill, Ringo Starr and Colin Firth-who, like Kim and Pharrell, will receive their own covers which hit newsstands on September 4.

Pharrell Williams and Kim Kardashian-West were honored at the 17th annual British GQ Men of the Year Awards in London last night (Sept. 2).

Taking place at the Royal Opera House, Pharrell was presented with the award for GQ’s Solo Artist of the Year while Mrs. West walked away as GQ’s Woman of the Year — sort of. While she was honored to be presented with the award, she actually walked off the stage with the wrong trophy and received Pharrell’s instead. She later admitted to the error in a video that was posted on Instagram, which you can see below.

Either way, the two attended the event along with Kim’s hubby Kanye, who came for moral support. Of course, the stylish celebs came in style. Kim showed off all her assets with a black leotard paired with a silver chainmail skirt, which ran down to the floor. Pharrell passed on the traditional tux and stood out in Chanel with ripped jeans, a camo moto jacket, white T-shirt, red boots and a hat. Ye opted for a navy blue tuxedo jacket with a black black T-shirt and matching jeans. He completed the look with a simple gold chain.

The night’s honorees thanked all those close to them during their acceptance speech, but Pharrell made sure to give a special shoutout to the late CEO of Louis Vuitton. “I know you guys are, like, ‘Enough – we get it, you’re happy,’” he told British GQ. “I don’t really deserve Best Solo Artist. My team, my friends and my family deserve this award because it was a collective effort. I also want to take this moment to acknowledge Yves Carcelle.”

Well Kim Kardashian may have had to sit through that culture shock of being stuffed in that God-awful room filled with talented hard-working people—watching them perform and accept their awards. That’s days past now-she ‘got her own:

British GQ named Kim their “Woman of the Year” and bestowed upon us, a belaboring of the obvious (for those who’ve been here-seen this): A (tasteful) nudie spread of Kim Kardashian--that hit the Internet shortly after receiving her award while in London last night.

Kim said (and made the correction) in her acceptance speech: "It's Kim Kardashian West…I want to thank GQ for making me Woman of the Year, and my husband (Kanye West) for making me feel like woman of the year every day."

Well, it's safe to say that post-baby Kim has still got it.

We often suggest taking our own advice, but who would think your own advice would come back to haunt you?

Well, for former The Voice judge and Grammy winner Thomas DeCarlo Callaway a.k.a CeeLo Green, 39, he didn’t take his own advice (as well as he should have) but we’ll just blame the impulse of the heart and mind having forced him into a game of fastest fingers.

You see, this past Friday (August 29), Green pleaded “no contest” in the Los Angeles District court to one felony count of giving ecstasy (the drug) to a female acquaintance back in 2012.

As a punishment, he received three years of formal probation and ordered to complete 360 hours of community service along with an order to attend 52 AA/NA meetings. Green is also scheduled to return to court on March 5, 2015 for a “progress” report.

Well, that report may not look too well come March 2015 because Green didn’t follow his own advice when co-signing a poster with ink on a fingertip designed as a scan code with a caption that read: “Your DNA will be your data”(he posted on August 3, 2014):



Well over the weekend, he got into a heated Twitter exchange (which, although…the data was immediately deleted) it came back to haunt him—and his very own data was used as his DNA. During the heated exchange, he was quoted as having said (regarding the ecstasy rape charge):

"If someone is passed out they're not even WITH you consciously! So WITH implies consent," he wrote.

"People who have really been raped REMEMBER!!!"

He then was quoted as proposing the question: "so if I tried but did NOT succeed but the person said I DID then what really happened?"

Well...Bzzzzzzzzz

Although the tweets were deleted, they were used as his DNA and traced back to him… As a result, although TBS claimed it was due to low ratings, they canceled Greens reality show The Good Life-it will not be returning for a second season, after just six episodes.

The shows cameras followed CeeLo Green as he attempted to balance life and work (recording/producing, touring).

Well, no one knows if his “data” [used as his] DNA will come back to haunt him at his March 2015 hearing but his [deleted data] his Twitter statements…sent a clear message oozing through his DNA-his misunderstanding of what “rape” is.

Rape isn’t always that old fashioned portrayal in the movies where peeper in he woods grabs the girl, covers her mouth and takes his way with her.

It’s like CeeLo talks about in the song on the post I copied (with the finger) where he mentioned “Cell Therapy.” Well, it’s a New World Order (today-2014), and even methods of rape has even evolved CeeLo, man…

Just days after making controversial comments on Twitter about rape, E! News can confirm that CeeLo Green's TBS show, The Good Life, will not be returning for a second season.

The Hollywood Reporter broke the news that the unscripted series would not be coming back to the silver screen after just six episodes.

The show followed the former Voice star as he balanced his hectic schedule of recording, touring, and producing other artists.

News in a statement. "He is happy to put this behind him and continue to move forward."

The "F--k You" singer was ordered to return on March 5, 2015, for a progress report.

Back in October 2013, prosecutors rejected a rape charge against Green, citing insufficient evidence. At the time, his legal counsel, Blair Berk, said in a statement CeeLo "encouraged a full and complete investigation of those claims and he was confident once conducted he would be cleared of having any wrongful intent and it would be established that any relations were consensual."

You see, according to the ASCAP (American Society of Composers Authors and Publishers-an online music database), for about a month now, a new entry for “Blow” (another song on Beyonce’s latest CD) is too, like “Flawless,” being remixed and filed under Beyonce and “Rhianna”--a misspelling of the pop star’s correct name, which is “Rihanna.”

This is still buzz, and we can pretty much be sure that the purposeful misspelling is probably because this is not definite and confirmed by either singer as yet but if their labels and management have their way, this too, shall not pass.

Rihanna is under management of Beyonce’s hubby Jay Z and well, we all know that those two are in love under management ‘til death do they part.

Obviously, we will keep you posted if we find out anything else on this.

Few female duos have the power to shut down the internet like Beyoncé andNicki Minaj did a few weeks ago when the "Flawless" remix dropped out of nowhere. But of those that could give Minaj a run for her thirst-inducing money, Rihanna is certainly near the top of the list. Could she be next up as Beyoncé gives songs from her self-titled album the remix treatment? Performing rights database ASCAP seems to suggest so.

According to Digital Spy, the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers' online database has popped up with a new entry for a "Blow" remix under which Bey and Rih's names (Rihanna's misspelled as "Rhianna" as it is on a few of her other songs on ASCAP), which you can view in the gallery above.

As you may (or may not know), Barbados Island’s racy raga-muffin Rihanna’s had her Instagram account revoked but her show will go on.

Recently, the pop princess has been turning up with her friends on the coast of Italy and marking off her bucket list with things like: dinner by an active volcano, living to see + take photos of lava at a distance, (chance happenings like audiencing her ex Chris Brown during a recent celebrity basket event), and most recently; taking her party right on over to her BFF’s Instgram account—doing the “Shmoney Dance” (sorta)….

Jenny McCarthy and Donnie Wahlberg tied the knot over Labor Day weekend -- and man did she look sexy doing it.

The former "View" cohost and New Kids on the Block star said "I do" on Sunday at St. Charles' Hotel Baker in Chicago on Sunday, where the bride absolutely stunned in her strapless, bombshell wedding dress.

The low-cut gown put her cleavage on display, while she rocked some old school Hollywood glam for her hair and makeup on the big day.

But while they do look awfully cozy in the shots, for some reason I'm just not buying that everything is hunky-dory between them. As far as celebrity divorce rumors go, they tend to be spot on for the most part, even if it takes quite a few months (if not years) for the split to finally happen.

I guess there is always the off chance that they're staying mum on the rumors for the sake of gaining extra publicity (imagine that ...), but there has to be a reason all the talk was started in the first place, right?

For now, we should probably give them the benefit of the doubt, as all couples definitely have ups and downs over the course of their marriage. But something tells me we definitley haven't seen the last headlines about Bey and Jay calling it quits for reals.

Love was certainly in the air this weekend and another one of our favorite couples tied the knot: Ashlee Simpson and Evan Ross.

The last time we wrote about the happy couple’s plans to marry; the topic of media discussion was whether or not Evan’s famous mom (singer/performer Diana Ross) was going to sing at the wedding.

Well, everything that (traditionally or by expectation) should of-didn’t, like: Ashlee’s father (a minister) didn’t give her away or walk her down the isle but rather, her cutie son [Bronx] did! How cute was that!?

Although papa didn’t give her away, she sure as heavens had his blessings!

Ashlee was also joined by, and had the blessings of her newly married sister, singer Jessica Simpson, who as well, was her matron of honor!

Jessica’s children: Max and Ace served as ring-bearer and flower girl.

Diana Ross officiated the nuptials and her daughter (Evans’ big sister/Girlfriends’ actress) Traccee Ellis-Ross served as the emcee. How cool!?

The wedding took place at Mrs. Ross’ Greenwich, Connecticut home witnessed by the couple’s close friends and family.

Ashley and Evan were dating 7 months before he popped the question to the Pieces of Me singer who as of August 31, 2014; (along with the $750,000.00 worth of Neil Lane Jewelry she wore on her big day), has all the pieces she needs right now.

Congrats are in order for Evan and Ashlee.

We said before, we l.o.v.e the way he coddles and protects her in almost every pic anywhere across the Internet.

He now has her forever-to hold: “until to death do they part.”

Good luck and well-wished to them both!

And no, he didn't serve as the officiant either. Um, Evan's mom Diana Ross did! The wedding was actually held at her estate in Greenwich, Connecticut, so to say she played a big part in her son's day is a huge understatement.

And yes, Jessica Simpson served as Ashlee's matron of honor, and I'm sure she almost upstaged the bride with whatever she happened to be wearing. (OMG. Dying to see pics.)

Ok so at this weekend’s Made in America festival, Kanye informed the audience his approach and response to being impersonated by comedian/SNL’s Jay Pharoah at last Sunday’s MTV VMA Awards which, he stated: [quote] "I called Jay Pharoah right after the MTV awards. I said, 'I appreciate your show, but let me tell you about my story. Let me tell you about what I went through to get to that position' "[unquote]

He then took some time out to take his jabs at with whom he has a love-hate relationship with (the media) by saying [quote] “They want to make a joke out of how hard we work. It's fine and all funny and everything, but don't distract from our vision. It's not a joke what we do up here. This music that we do is not a joke. What we do culturally is not a joke." [unquote].

As well, unlike never before as, (typically) they (like him) are all one in the same—(even as late as last month) when, per Kanye, it was just the world of regular people and paparazzi against celebrities—even going so far as to liken the world of celebrity as being as victimized as the oppression of blacks during the civil rights era, right?

Well, this time, Kanye had a thing or two he wanted to share with his concert-goers—to make sure they understood the clear difference between “them” (celebrities) versus his genius, hard-working self (who, the night of the VMAs was away hard at work on his next album while “they”-his wife Kim Kardashian included-sat a laughed, joked around, and enjoyed themselves at the show): "I'll be sitting around award shows looking around at [expletive] like 'I'm the only one here who's not crazy,' " [unquote].

Finally, while ranting on the stage at the Made in America festival, West flipped back onto speaking like the “Jesus Walks”/conscious and aware Kanye (you know…the one that first hit the scene in 2004…the once upon a time Kanye when he-himself could be heard on many a songs from his first album, kicking knowledge about “them” making “us” hate ourselves and love their wealth in an effort to try and emulate them in order to feel whole and like “Somebody”)-that Kanye.

Well although a lot has changed in the mind, life, and [self]-consciousness of that Kanye, who [himself] has since then ranted, kicked and screamed his way into being accepted into various forms of “their” wealth (social, socio-economic, fashion, and otherwise); he still took a little time out to talk to the audience about [social] “class” and how it makes us want to buy Mercedes’ and send our children to private schools and whatnot.

This time around, Kanye took some time to talk about class, and throw some shade at the media, most celebrities, and comedian Jay Pharoah, who parodied the rapper last weekend at the MTV Video Music Awards.

Closing out the first night of the Made in America Music Festival, Kanye began his diatribe by calling out the media.

"They want to make a joke out of how hard we work," West said, according to Penn Live.

"It's fine and all funny and everything, but don't distract from our vision. It's not a joke what we do up here. This music that we do is not a joke. What we do culturally is not a joke."

Then, he told the audience that after seeing the VMAs, he called up Saturday Night Live star Pharoah to educate him.

"I called Jay Pharoah right after the MTV awards," he told the audience. "I said, 'I appreciate your show, but let me tell you about my story. Let me tell you about what I went through to get to that position.'"

That must have been a terrifying phone call for Mr. Pharoah.

Also targeted, every celebrity who ever attended an awards show.

"I'll be sitting around award shows looking around at [expletive] like 'I'm the only one here who's not crazy,'" West said.

Finally, he talked about how class, which is what makes us want to earn money to buy things like a Mercedes, or send our children to the best private school. It was all a bit confusing.

Then, he told everyone to love one another.

I’m seeing that being said a lot (about this show) and I’m soooo perplexed as to how any grown woman who fancies herself a “size queen” could have foreplay and make out skills so not plentiful that it takes a man to be all up and in her before she determines he wasn’t the “size” she was “looking for.”

That’s insane…and a total loss of control of a woman’s self, sexuality (and body count-not to mention)...

A woman admitting having not found out a man wasn’t the size she was looking for until after he hit it--is like a grown woman still wiping from back to front.

If a woman’s not in control of the moment of making out and foreplay such that her skills don’t expand past getting her answers before he’s all up and in her, she's probably no good in bed anyway... And that "box" shouldn’t be touched anyways (by that man).

To put it bluntly, there is never an excuse for “size queens” not to be on top of that-especially if she’s grown and not 16, promiscuous, and teenage-minded type-stupid.

Michael Jackson would have turned 56 years old this past Friday [August 29] and although he is gone, he will never be forgotten by his fans, his family—and especially his children: Paris, Blanket and Prince.

In spirit and celebration of his birthday, all three of his children traveled back to 2300 Jackson Street in Gary, Indiana to the little 3 bedroom house where Michael Jackson’s humble beginnings all began and all the Jackson children were born.



Although a lot has happened in the life of Michael Jackson since living at 2300 Jackson Street (where his allowance was probably no more than $8 bucks a month), his children that love him dearly-whom he loved infinitely are much older now and are said to be getting allowances somewhere upwards in the amount of $8 million, doing with it; age-appropriate things that each, at their ages, do.

According to our friends at Gossip Girl, Blanket, 12, is said to be spending somewhere around $500 per night practically in dinner and movies with friends.

Paris, 15, is spending hers at a private boarding school which costs somewhere around $1 million and Prince, 17, is said to be spending around 50k on jewelry and other expenses on girlfriends (past and present).

Ashlee Simpson and Evan Rosstied the knot on Saturday at the Connecticut home of the groom's mother, Diana Ross, PEOPLE has confirmed. 

The happy couple was surrounded by family and friends, including big sister Jessica Simpson as a matron of honor and the bride's 5-year-old son, Bronx Wentz. Simpson wore Neil Lane jewelry that complemented her engagement ring designed by the jeweler. 

Simpson, 29, and Ross, 26,announced their engagement on Jan. 13 via Twitter. 

"The love of my life said YES!!!!!!" Ross wrote, with Simpson adding, "My baby love and I are ENGAGED!!! Hallelujah Hawaii!!!"

Unlike the typical male newly off the market and nearly two months past the big day-contemplating whether or not he made the right move; Adam Levine is still sure.

But don’t let that facial hair fool you, he told Ryan Seacrest this past Friday morning in a radio interview that being married has changed him forever.

"The relationship doesn't change" [said 35 year-old Adam Levine and People magazine’s reigning Sexiest Man Alive] who confessed to Ryan that he had changed “in a great way.”

“Marriage, makes you feel slightly more masculine. If it's the right marriage, if it's the right person…The guy feels a little bit more like a man," confessed the The Voice coach and proud chronic bachelor who at one time, has even gone on record to say that marriage was just not his bag or in his plans—(and then about six months later + a girl named Behati Prinsloo happened to him). 

Ryan then took the plunge and asked Levine about the possibility of the newlyweds having children. Adam replied: "I want to have 100 kids. I want to have more kids than is socially responsible. We can't do it right now, but it's in the works." 

Of course Other Side of the Fame will be checking back with our guy/Maroon 5 front man Adam Levine in about 5 more years from now to see if he’s still honeymooning and feeling the same sentiments but right now, at this moment in time, we’re gonna rock with what he’s feeling.

On September 2, Maroon 5 will be releasing their fifth studio album appropriately titled: V.

As far as what the fans can expect from this album [Adam told Seacrest]: “More depth…This one has hits that mean a little more.”

Seacrest, himself thinking about settling down, also asked Levine the infamous"kids question."

"I want to have 100 kids," Levine joked. "I want to have more kids than is socially responsible. We can't do it right now, but it's in the works." 

As he starts a family, PEOPLE's reigning Sexiest Man Alive says that his work with Maroon 5 may slow down. 

"We want to tour, to a certain degree, forever," he said, "but at which point does this start to interfere with other things in life that you want to do? There's probably a day when I'm working a lot less and enjoying my job a little more." 

The veteran rock band will release its fifth album, V, on Sept. 2. Levine told Seacrest that fans should expect "more depth." 

"This one has hits that mean a little more," he said.

Jennifer Lawrence is officially added to the list of celebs that are victims of the latest nude photo scandal (leak)…

According to our friends as Buzzfeed, although the photos haven’t been authenticated, the hackers claim to have explicit videos of Jennifer (as well as over 60 nudies).

The massive phone hacking operation had been traced back to 4chans’s/b/ board which also features nudies that are alleged to be that of Ariana Grande, Krysten Ritter, Kate Upton, Kirsten Dunst, Victoria Justice, Teresa Palmer and others.

Jennifer Lawrence and many other A-list stars are reportedly the latest victims of a nude photo scandal.

According to Buzzfeed, a massive phone hack can be traced back to 4chan’s /b/ board, which allegedly features naked pictures of Ariana Grande, Kirsten Dunst, Victoria Justice, Teresa Palmer, Krysten Ritter, Kate Upton, and more female stars.

The photos have not been authenticated. The hacker claims to have explicit videos of Jennifer, as well as over 60 nude selfies of her.

Other Side of the Fame hasn’t caught up with Dave Chappelle ever since (earlier this year) he was bomb rushed by TMZ-being asked if he would be waiting with baited breath to see [the late Johnny Carson’ sex tape]. At the time, that was being talked about it in the news.

Needless to say, Mr: “I’m Rick James, Bitch!” was seemingly a little more serious and detached from the moment (and the question), and too, was being interrupted from making it to his lunch date and destination.

After a few minutes, he made his was away from the TMZ crew and hasn’t been spotted since.

Who can forget comedian Dave Chappelle and how in love with the funny man-we fell, for two season of Comedy Central’s “The Dave Chappelle Show.”

As well…we will never forget how he just up and walked away from it all—with no note to toll his absence or reason; he just-left—and moved to South African, away from it all.

Well when Dave Chappelle walked away from Hollywood, he had no plans on ever returning to comedy as he knew it and once did it-ever again (so we later found out in an interview he eventually gave to Oprah Winfrey) where he said [quote] “I wasn’t walking away from the money, I was walking away from the circumstances that were coming with the newfound plateau” [unquote].

Without stating specifics about their individual situations, Dave mentioned, as examples, greats like Martin Lawrence and Mariah Carey--stating that at the height of their careers, they were given large amounts of monies and (ironically shortly thereafter), Martin was found out on a Hollywood street corner spazzing/spiraling out of control (whether from stress or mental breakdown), and how Mariah Carey experienced her public breakdown shortly after her major deal as well (around 2000).

Chappelle mentioned that even before being apart of the industry to the extent that he was at the time [in so many words] he remembered [quote] “the stories” [unquote] about The Powers That Be…[that the world/conspiracy theorists outside looking in call “The Illuminati”].

Dave experienced a profound sense of clarity about what he was doing-where he felt like although he was funny, bringing the ratings in, and making good money; he was beginning to feel like he was doing things for his career that was socially, ethically and personally irresponsible.

Additionally, his reasons (for walking away) had to do with the eventual Hollywood staple-sort of like a “Right of Passage”-here it seemed like in order to move up in the industry, Hollywood had this thing that he totally disagreed with: The emasculation of the man (if the man would allow it). Dave was in total disagreement with ever having to put on a dress or do a skit and anything else remotely close to portraying a woman in exchange for his being a man (even if for a skit or movie).

In addition to that, he basically began to see his life, his career and the industry with a different set of eyes-as if it were an outer body experience where so much money was being thrown his way to do things that (if he wasn’t conscious or able to look at himself from the out side looking in), he would have totally lost himself [as a result]. So before that could happen, we walked away from it all: The offers, the checks ($50 million dollars)-everything.

The collective experiences of having to deal with himself in front of (versus behind the mask) all the while right in front of the world-making large amount of monies to do, to be, and to say so many things that he-himself wasn’t so comfortable reaping benefits from, eventually took a toll on him.

Well since then (during the last ten minutes of that interview with Oprah) when asked if he would be returning to comedy, high on the list of his return and game plan, he joked that getting buff was high on the chain of command. Actually, he did that, and as well, performed a show in Hartford, Connecticut on August 29, 2013.

Things went awry however, and the moment he was heckled-all bets were off. I’m guessing it was like he said in the interview with Oprah: “I can tell when somebody is laughing with me or at me.” Dave Chappelle’s plight and stance on not looking like a “coon” or clown for a crowd, a laugh and a little money is serious. So in a way where you couldn’t tell if his response to the heckling was apart of the show or if he was really serious about was he was saying, he walked out—and didn’t return.



At long last, Chappelle decided to make good on his walk-out and stare apprehension and trepidation right in the eye: he returned [to Hartford, Connecticut] on August 23, 2014 to do that show (at the Oddball)

In Hollywood, the #teamhusbandwife moniker (like “Brangelina”) or names like JLo (over Jennifer Lopez) or JLaw (over Jennifer Lawerence)……or being referred to on a first-name basis is something that kind ‘happens.’

Often times, a moniker of being referred to by first name only is kind of a ‘given’ to the celeb via the media or fans. But that doesn’t necessarily mean a notable can’t step right up to the drawing board and erase their last name themselves [then put us all on notice that going forward-it’s first name basis only].

Kendall Jenner did just that.

Nooooooooooooo. It wasn’t the lesson learned [that it wasn’t such a good idea] back in May this year when at the Billboard Awards, she elect to come off as a “dumb brunette” by struggling to read off the teleprompter-then proceed to yell: “Guys I’m the worst reader,”—that afterwards…caused her to reflect on how the “blonde” moment could potentially backfire later [when it’s time to be taken seriously for future career endeavors].

Noooooo it wasn’t a sudden attack of family-reflection and association just a month or two ago (when singer-actress Adrienne Bailon went public with her new boyfriend) + opened up about reasons why she left Rob Kardashian: Namely, one of them having to disassociate herself with the Kardashian name…that caused Kendall to reflect on how being rich, free, famous, frivolous, and a socialite for life could potentially backfire later [when it’s time to be taken seriously for future career endeavors].

Well the tall statuesque raven-haired beauty just turned 18 this past November and although she has gotten a few major modeling gigs, she’s found that being associated with the Kardashian brand name (despite her last name being “Jenner”), does more harm than good (for what it is she is trying to do with her life-opposite her sisters Kim, and Khloe).

The ¼ of the sisters of the reality television show “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” (KUWTK) a.k.a Kendall Jenner now wishes to be known as just Kendall-please and thank you.

Kendall even went so far as to delete her last name from the Society Management’s homepage and too, from her bio as listed on the company’s website.

Earlier this year, in an interview with Love magazine, she expressed [about the Kardashian ‘curse’] some things that her sister Kylie Jenner has experienced-as a result of being “born into” the Kardashian experience [whether she wanted to be apart of the brand or not]: “People think that this…success just came to me, but it didn't. What I have has almost worked against me. I had to work even harder to get where I wanted because people didn't take me seriously as a model. I went on castings and some people weren't feeling me because of my name. But it was great when people didn't recognize me. I was like, 'Thank you. Please don't recognize me.' "

John legend had been one busy man this year. If for no other reason, he has sang at more than one wedding in 2014 alone.

Today, the singer-musician blessed the union of Miami Heat’s 32 year-old Dwayne Wade and his lawfully wedded wife Gabrielle Union, 41, in a private ceremony attended to by close family and friends along with Wade’s two boys from a previous marriage and a nephew he is raising—having credited him for having helped him find his purpose.

Wade’s proposal turned other purpose in life happened in Miami, Florida today.

Dressed in customized Dsquared2, bow tie by Wedding Collection (from The Tie Bar) and a boutonniere by Floral Fix, the championship ball player married his longtime girlfriend/Being Mary Jane actress, Gabrielle Union, who wore a white Dennis Basso gown.

Although the character she plays in Being Mary Jane hasn’t found been so fortunate to have found love, art surely isn’t imitating life, for, Gabrielle Union’s union is officially brought to real life and has come full circle. And hopefully, with many blessings, perhaps this second time around (for both Gabrielle as well as Dwayne) will be the last and final.

Well that’s something that singer-songwriter Lionel Ritchie can sing and say that many of us simply cannot.

Back in 2012 Ritchie was slapped with a tax lien for failing to pay more than $1million dollars income taxes for the 2010 year but just recently (unlike the rest of normal folks) Lionel paid the tax debt-in full-easy like Sunday morning and well…sailed on about his way.

The same can’t be said for Vanessa Williams who was recently sent a bill from the U.S authorities alleging the actress/singer owes somewhere around $370k in unpaid taxes.

The Work to Do singer (slash) “Ugly Betty” actress was issued the lien earlier this month in lieu of an address mix-up on the Save the Best for Last singer’s 2011 tax return.

The discrepancy was due to the fact that the documents were filed under her accountant’s Manhattan address. Although a New York resident, Williams lives the hamlet of Chappaqua.

Needless to say, Vanessa Williams doesn’t have to bother singing: “Hello, is it me you’re looking for?”...considering the fact that the IRS has now located the correct address of the Comfort Zone singer.

Talk about knocking somebody off their square pedestal…just ask Latina actress Sofia Vergara who just recently came under popular international anchorwoman’s scorn.

Just a few days ago at the Emmys, Modern Family’s Sofia Vergara was one of two presenters. The other presenter (Television Academy CEO Bruce Rosenblaum) took the presentation a step further: While explaining what a “meaningful impact television has had on viewers around the world,” she was asked to stand on the revolving platform to the right of both of them.

As if she were a statue (an Emmy perhaps), while presenting-using words like “both in front of and behind the camera” and “evolving;” as Vergara stood upon the revolving platform and it turned where her back was facing the audience she had [what she thought was] a harmless, but rather comedic moment.

With her hands on hips and struggling to hold her balance as the contraption turned and the audience laughed; she tugged at her strapless beautiful white gown she was wearing by softly double-tapping her bottom (the way another person would do while fitting a model for a dress or as if to say “good job’).

As Rosenblaum went on to finish his short speech and ending with words like: “what truly matters is that we never forget that our success is based on always giving the viewer something compelling to watch” Sofia clumsily held her stance while (pretending?) to try and hold her balance. By end speech, she laughed it off and proceeded to hop of the moving contraption.

Although it made the audience laugh, one person didn’t find [the obviously pre-rehearsed] stunt that funny: Katie Couric……….. as well as:

• contributors at Newsweek

• contributors at the Chicago Tribune

• the armchair gavel and ten-finger list count of scrutiny and scorn a.k.a social media

• …………and even members of the Latina community

…didn’t find the less that two and a quarter minute moment funny and felt that the comedic actress voluntarily objectified herself by using sexism to get laughs.

Katie Couric (who at least was bold enough to ‘@’ to Sofia directly) tweeted:



Sofia Vergara responded to all:

"I think it's absolutely the opposite, it means that somebody can be hot and also be funny and make fun of herself and enjoy and work and make money. So I absolutely think it's ridiculous and somebody who started — and I know who she was — has no sense of humor and should lighten up a little bit."

Although [indirectly] Vergara most probably was speaking about/to Couric when she stated: “So I absolutely think it's ridiculous and somebody who started — and I know who she was — has no sense of humor and should lighten up a little bit."

…As did I, someone else “got it” (understood the humor in it).

Tammy Beck – a contributor at Huffington Press wrote:

It's not often I profess to know more than Newsweek or the Chicago Tribune. But I sure as hell do today.

A lot is being said about Sofia Vergara's rotating pedestal act at the Emmys. Most of it bad. Very bad. Newsweek and the Chicago Tribune are just a small slice of the pie. Social media tore her to pieces, calling her every name in the book.

To all of them, I'd like to caringly say: shut the hell up!

It is not Sofia Vergara's job to be a role model for Latinas. Nor is it her mission to be a voice for women everywhere. She is an entertainer, comedian, business woman and former model. And, by the way, she is quite good at all those things.

The Latino community slammed her for perpetuating negative Latina stereotypes and making a mockery of their community's strong sense of family. Ouch!

It has also been written that her actions have once again painted women everywhere as little more than ditzy sexpots. Blah, blah, blah.

All right, settle down everyone and get a damn sense of humor.

A beautiful, intelligent, hard working girl has a right to exercise a little humor at a gathering of her peers without being responsible for the entire Latino community or the sexual perception of women everywhere. This wasn't done to her. She participated freely. And cleverly. What is everyone talking about when they discuss the Emmys? Exactly!

Would we be having this discussion if Hugh Jackman had been displayed shirtless on that rotating pedestal? I think not. This was tongue and cheek, people. A parody. A lark. And a creative way to present a boring part of the show. Geesh!

Jealousy is an ugly thing. So is assumption on the side of arrogance.

In short: get over yourselves.

If you or your children's idea of self-worth hinges on the actions of someone you don't even know, then you have bigger problems, and they have nothing to do with Sofia Vergara.

I thought what Miss Vergara did was whimsical. I saw a beautiful, successful, intelligent woman exercising her right to be fun and silly on her terms. Bravo for her!

She has been labeled by many as a "gross, stereotypical objectification." She is, in fact, everything but.

I'm pretty sure that God wants us all to use everything he gave us. And, boy, does she ever!

Listen up, if I had what she had, you could call me whatever you like. I'd be laughing all the way to the bank.

If there was a name or title for it, An Imitation of Life would fit perfectly.

No-not like “An Imitation of Life” (like the movie about a woman whose bi racial daughter was insecure about her two races such that she fought her mom tooth and nail to defy her black side in order to “pass” and live life as a white woman), but rather, an imitation of life such that (from looking in on the presentation to the world), the late Whitney Houston’s daughter (Bobbi Kristina) is imitating her life like once-upon-a time—long ago when she was young, wild, rebellious and in love with R&B singer and bad boy Bobby Brown (Bobbi Kristina’s dad).

It’s uncanny.

If you don’t know already, Bobbi Kristina is in a relationship (forbidden by the ones who know and love her), and flat out disgusting to the ones who don’t (and are just looking on: the public)-because her boyfriend (slash) fiance (Nick Gordon) is the lawfully unofficial adopted son of the late Whitney Houston who (according to Bobbi Kristina) had her blessings when the young couple went from almost bro and sis to: girlfriend-boyfriend (and now: husband and wife).

Well since the death of the late singer, and even before the reality show: The Houston’s-On Our Own-we’ve gotten more than our share of Nick Gordon and Bobbi Kristina’s life behind the camera: from family in-fighting, to the couple allegedly eloping to get married, and other bouts on social media displays of affection, insistence, and rebellion.

This time, like mirroring the life of Bobbi Kristina’s very own dad (when he was in love with her mom-the late Whitney Houston) Gordon was arrested in Roswell, Georgia.

Although a breathalyzer test was not administered on-site, as a result of slamming his vehicle into a fire hydrant-causing the BMW to flip over; it was suspected that Gordon was driving under the influence.

As well, it was discovered that he was driving on a suspended driver’s license (according to our friends over at TerMiteZ).

Although it seems like the private couple has been married all this time, fact of the matter is: they weren’t. Pitt once vowed never to get married until gay marriage was legal everywhere. Currently, same-sex couples can only legally be married in 19 states plus D.C. but we’re guessing that a higher height of love, commitment and solidarity won’t let him wait.

As having been expressed by Angie herself, she and Brad met and fell in love in with one another in 2005 during filing Mr. and Mrs. Smith then became engaged in 2012. In an interview done at that time, Brad Pitt stated: "It's an exciting prospect, even though for us, we've gone further than that. But to concretize it in that way, it actually means more to me than I thought it would. It means a lot to our kids."

The proud parents of adopted children (Maddox-13, Pax-10, Zahara-9, and Vivienne-6), they became husband and wife this past Saturday-reportedly married in Paris, France.

Their eight year-old’s (Shiloh and Knox-6), served as ring-bearers while the two daughters: Zahara and Vivienne, threw flower petals.

In a nondenominational civil ceremony with the license having been obtained from a California judge (who as well conducted the ceremony), the reclusive couple are said to have exchanged nuptials at the village of Correns’ Chateau Miraval-a property that boasts having a 35-room house and vineyard (owned by Angie and Brad since 2008).

No word on if, when, or where the happy couple will spend their honeymoon but according to reports surfacing, the newlywed (who’s always done it their way), are set to begin filming and starring together in their next film in Malta called By the Sea-written and directed by Jolie.

This is the second marriage for Brad Pitt who was married to actress Jennifer Anniston from 2000-2005-shortly after filming Mr. and Mrs. Smith.

For three years (late 90s) Angelina was previously married to British actor Jonny Lee Miller and then to actor-director Billy Bob Thornton for three years. They divorced in 2003.

Although the private couple (and even as individuals) don’t do much Hollywood hob-knobbing, they still manage to stay working, significant and celebrated.

Jolie won an Oscar for best supporting actress in the movie “Girl Interrupted” (1999) and was nominate d for best-actress Oscar for “Changeling” (2008).

Brad Pitt shared the Academy Award for best picture earlier this year for “12 Years a Slave.”

Rather than what we’d all expect from these two very celebrated celebs, Brad and Angelina share common and deeper bonds with one another which includes traveling the world and abroad-on missions of understanding other cultures or the world and the other people in it-outside of the bright lights of Tinseltown.

Love Won't Let Them Wait #Brangelina (ANGELINA JOLIE & BRAD PITT) Vowed To Never Marry Until..()

In advance of the nondenominational civil ceremony, Pitt and Jolie obtained a marriage license from a local California judge. The judge also conducted the ceremony in France.

Pitt once said that he didn't want to marry until gay marriage was legal everywhere, but in recent years, the couple had said publicly they intended to. They were engaged in early 2012 after some seven years together.

"It's an exciting prospect, even though for us, we've gone further than that," Pitt told The AP in an interview in November 2012. "But to concretize it in that way, it actually means more to me than I thought it would. It means a lot to our kids."

This is the second marriage for Pitt, who wed Jennifer Aniston in 2000. They divorced in 2005.

Well-known for her unapologetic quick wit and sharp tongue, Joan Rivers was reportedly rushed to the hospital after she stopped breathing while having throat surgery at a New York clinic this morning according to her Fashion Police network: E! News.

Just yesterday, Rivers visited the offices of People (magazine)-speaking with its editorial director Jess Cagle about her book Diary of a Mad Diva-just recently released in on July one by Berkley Hardcover publishers.

Currently, she and her daughter Melissa have a reality tv show on Wetv called Joan and Melissa: Joan Knows Best? As well, she hosts a weekly talk show in her bedroom called In Bed with Joan where, it’s not uncommon to see many of her female guest pictured sitting on top of the funny lady’s lap to strike a pose for the camera (and for her Twit pic feed as well).

Rivers’ reps haven’t said anything additional about the developing situation other than the fact that she is being cared for at Mount Sinait Hospital and currently in stable condition.

According to reports from E!, Joan Rivers was rushed to the hospital after she stopped breathing while receiving throat surgery at a clinic in New York Thursday morning. Chief News Correspondent for E!, the network Rivers’ Fashion Police appears on,posted a tweet Thursday afternoon saying, “Joan Rivers is in stable condition.” 

Rivers visited the People offices Wednesday evening to talk with People andEntertainment Weekly editorial director Jess Cagle about her recently released book, Diary of a Mad Diva. Her other recent projects include co-starring in WE tv reality show Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best? and hosting a weekly talk show in her bedroom, In Bed with Joan.

Rivers’ representatives have not returned EW‘s request for comment. Mount Sinai Hospital, where reports say Rivers is receiving treatment, declined to comment.

The supposed recording of the actual gunshots fired by the officer that killed 18 year-old Mike Brown on the afternoon of Saturday August 9, has surfaced.

The man who came forward (choosing to remain faceless and nameless), says that while he was online video chatting with someone, the actual tragedy was taking place right outside his window.

Although in listening to the recording, the man’s calm, debonair voice sounds everything remotely close to a spoof of some sort (especially considering hearing the consistent rounds of what obviously weren’t firecrackers in July); the alleged fact of the matter is that the ear-witness has come forward—stating that this is the actual recording of what went on that fateful afternoon that Mike Brown was killed.

The eerie reminder and similarities of the shootings of Trayvon Martin and Mike Brown are definitely uncanny, to say the least.

This past weekend, Other Side of the Fame just informed you about the open letter that Trayvon Martin’s mother wrote to the parents of Mike Brown [before the discovery of this supposed recording of the shooting of Mike Brown] explaining her feeling pain and plight of the parents of Mike Brown’s while suggesting how they best move on this going forward-having experienced the similarly same thing as with her child Trayvon Martin.

Eerily similar, the actual recording of the shooting of Trayvon Martin, who too, was shot by a neighborhood crime patrol watchman (slash) wanna-be officer, was recorded [while emergency personnel was being called however].



Although the recording of Trayvon’s tragedy clearly shows that one gunshot went off (while it was painfully obvious the young boy was being apprehended and screaming for help as a result) and then seconds later-when that sharp, crisp gunshot number two went off; 17 year-old Trayvon Martin was silenced to death by the hands of George Zimmerman, who is a free man today.

Hopefully, the confirmed 6 then 4 shots heard by forensic and audio expert Paul Ginsberg of the supposed recording will serve as crucial evidence in getting justice served accordingly.

Lopa Blumenthal, the attorney for the unidentified man who turned in the supposed taped recording of Mike Brown’s tragedy, told CNN that the FBI has brought him in for questioning.

As you saw, in the interview with CNN’s Don Lemmon, attorney Blumenthal stated: “I was very concerned about that pause… because it’s not just the number of gunshots, it’s how they’re fired.”

From the looks of things (as caught on tape by our friends over at Us), the two of them: (Nicki Minaj and rapper Drake), had the munchies and decided to take a stroll down to the corner store and do something about it.

The close personal friends (slash) label-mates (slash), Moment for Life duet partners took a moment from work, to play-and grabbed a couple of snacks while Nicki was on break shooting the video for she and Usher’s new hit: “She Came To Give it To You” [that they performed live this past Sunday at MTV’s Video Music Awards show].

Although rapper Drake was a no-show for the awards and is most probably awaiting that phone call to arrange a pick up from his one-time nemesis rapper: Common (who accepted his award on his behalf), he did make it out to Nicki’s shoot-and gave her: a munchie-spree through the isles of the store while surprising a couple of fans along the way.

Not saying that the rooster has come to rule roost [the nest again] but it’s day 4 since it became public that Katie Holmes dropped a line rope to our guy Robin Thicke—checking in to see how he had been doing since his almost six month separation from his estranged wife Paula Patton [who has not been back to the home she once shared with Thicke since around February this year].

By the second day of word getting out that Katie sent some words over to Robin (via email) the Mission Impossible actress was out on the Hollywood scene after being missing in action from the public spotlight for almost six months now.

Patton showed Monday night to a pre-Emmy party at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood--chatting it up with other celebs and industry professionals.

Dressed in an all-black fitted, sheer and solid striped long-sleeved mini dress, natural bobbed hair and black heels, Patton mingled throughout the room but obviously could not escape the flashing lights of the paps-most probably thinking they were seeing a ghost (dressed sexily in black).

Since confirming her rumored separation from Thicke (February) Paula’s last appearances were in early March at Vanity Fair’s Oscar party and at the Independent Spirit Awards during the same month.

To date, Thicke’s public displays of affection while on stage touring have gone ignored.

As well, his musically creative efforts fell on deaf ears-after writing a whole album and dedicating each song written by him, for Patton.

Thicke and Patton, high-school sweethearts, have been married for nine years, and have one son together.

Paula Patton has made her way back into the Hollywood spotlight.

After nearly six months of staying away from the public eye following her split from Robin Thicke and his public outpour for forgiveness, Patton resurfaced at the Emmys HBO party Monday night at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood.

The actress, who seemingly kept covered up in a dark ensemble, looked to be in good spirits, smiling and laughing as she chatted with fellow celebs and industry professionals at the star-studded event.

Patton's last public appearance was at the Vanity FairOscar party in early March of this year, where she was decked out in a Celia Kritharioti dove gray gown with a plunging neckline. The night before, Patton attended the Independent Spirit Awards, where shesimply stunned in a yellow, floral and sheer Lorena Sarbu dress, which marked her first red carpet event since announcing her split from Thicke.

A few months later, Thicke announced his album Paula as a tribute to his estranged wife. It includes the single "Get Her Back," which he debuted at the Billboard Music Awards in May, where he told the audience, "All right, y'all, help me get her back."

The high school sweethearts separated in February after nine years of marriage. Thicke has publicly pleaded with the actress to take him back, frequently dedicating various love songs to her in concert.

Despite his public pleas, the duo remain separated.

Although Justin is free from the scarlet letter, Jan will never ever ever ever again be invited to participate in the festivities (ever again).

Since then, the NFL started putting a close eye on things during one of its coveted spots one night a year: Super Bowl Half-Time.

Well if you remember-since Nipplegate-Fingergate happened in 2012 when Sri Lankan rapper M.I.A flipped the bird during she and Madonna’s performance.

Well that didn’t sit too well with the higher ups of the NFL and according to our sources, they took action against the American Arbitration Association for breach of contract and M.I.A’s bird-flipping “tarnishing the league’s reputation.” As a result, they asked for a cool $1.5 million dollars in damages for their...pain and suffering in having to endure this embarrassment to the leagues squeaky-clean choir-boy like image.

Howard E. King, M.I.A’s attorney, stated that his client and the league have reached a confidential settlement-now, some two years later, ending a multimillion dollar dispute.

In case you haven’t read our write-up already, the NFL is also considering having artists pay to perform at Super Bowl Half-Time however, the monetary compensation they received on behalf of this lawsuit against M.I.A and the American Arbitration Association will…”go to charity.”

Yawn.

Man…these “charities” just oughta be…ballin’ hard, man.

As American popular culture would have it, in the 70’s and 80’s, the Marlboro Man was long known as the tobacco’s industry’s face of strength, and masculine sexiness beyond compare.

Although many-a-men can look quite dapper squinting, brow up, throwing that head to the back to exhale with that left hand on that hip-right arm hanging low with a burner in his hand; one would admit that he’d look twice as masculine-sexy with a cigar. It’s just as masculine as a Marlboro Man’s Marlboro cigarette.

Although all four of America’s Marlboro men have since passed (all due to smoking related health issues): Eric Lawson-1972, David Millar-1987, William Thourby-1988, and Wayne Mclaren-1992; still, call me crazy and a tad bit too observant, but there’s always been something sexy—not exactly about the cigar/ette-but the way a man holds it and smokes it; how he handles any kind of burner in his hand (legal, illegal or otherwise)…sorry. It’s just sexy. Quite frankly, I’ve even seen some girls smoke “sexy.” It’s just intriguing to me (probably because I don’t smoke), but boy can you get my attention smoking. I’m like a babe in the woods: staring awkwardly.

At any rate.

Take for instance when looking at two different cigar magazines upcoming masculine-sexy men (Mario Lopez and Usher) on the covers of Cigar & Spirits Mag and Cigar Aficionado. I shouldn’t have to say no more…so...I’ll stop there and show and prove it.

Robin Thicke’s estranged wife…………………………………………………………………………………………Paula Patton still hasn’t made it home yet.

For any man, that my very well be a sign that he should open himself up to moving on-and with Paula not yet moved back home, Robin Thicke just very well may be moving on [to] Holmes—Katie Holmes that is.

The two met back in 2010 long before the spirit of “Blurred Lines” blurred the lines of Robin and Paula’s bond. While Robin’s wife Paula was working with Katie’s husband Tom Cruise on the movie Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, when Robin would visit the set with he and Paula’s (then) new baby; he and Katie would have small-talk, where Katie would offer him advice and tips on looking after a new baby. As well, the two bonded over music tips after Robin overheard Katie singing to Suri (the daughter that Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes both share).

Our sources say that a insider told New Idea, that after hearing about Robin’s current situation Katie (also now divorced from Tom Cruise), reached out to Robin [quote] “She dropped him an email recently to see how he was, knowing he was going through divorce hell, and he was so happy to hear from her.” [unquote]

According to the source, after his tour end this (August) month, they’ve arranged a date to meet up in New York and quote [quote] “if anybody can get him over Paula, it’s Katie” [unquote].

Timing is everything.

And as fans of Robin Thicke since 2002-long before his popularity thickened with the invention of real-time social media [by 2014]-as high in hopes as even we at Other Side of the Fame had on the reconciliation of the high school sweet hearts, we must admit that timing is on Robin’s side right about now (as the “stars” would have it).

If you follow me/my work enough then you know that spiritually speaking, I feel that we are all connected through time and through that, we connect and have harmony, (or discord) with one another because of, and through that.

At any rate, know this. Astrology (which I prefer to call “personology” because of my methodology and how I use it-versus a lot of Greek mythology or unexplainable logic traditionally as carried on and on) is not just all about a person. As well, it is about a “time.”

Well, right now-in the constellations we are moving out of Leo who’s motto is “I WILL” and Leo (a fire sign) is ruled by the heart and often times its ego and raw courage-Robin was in the middle of that (June-July during constellation Cancer/water sign, ruled by EMOTIONS and still persistent and determined through July-August…like constellation Leo).

As we are moving out of Leo and into constellation Virgo, we are moving into a time where ANALYZING things (ruled by the constellation Virgo) come into play. So per the constellations, from now through September 22, the “stars” are on his side with us now moving in to Virgo-assisting Robin with analyzing everything practically-like Virgo does (versus emotionally-like Cancer, or assertive/persistently-like Leo).

“She dropped him an email recently to see how he was, knowing he was going through divorce hell,” an insider told New Idea. “And he was so happy to hear from her.”

Apparently, the two plan to get together in New York once Robin’s tour concludes.

“They’ve arranged a date in New York after his tour ends this month. Everyone’s encouraging this as they have so much in common and if anyone can get him over Paula, it’s Katie.”

Sources go on to claim that Katie first met the soul singer during her marriage to Tom Cruise on the set of “Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol,” while Paula and Tom were shooting scenes together.

“Robin totally leaned on Katie,” the source continued. “As she was in the same boat with Suri, who was four at the time.”

“She was invaluable with her advice on looking after a new baby. They bonded over tips and music after he heard her sing[pic] to Suri.”

August 25th marks the date of death of beloved singer: Aaliyah, 13 years-ago.

With countless, timeless hits like “Back and Forth,” “One in a Million,” “Are You That Somebody,” and “Rock The Boat,” before her untimely death, Aaliyah had transitioned from being just a singer-in to acting in films including movies like “Romeo Must Die” and a movie inspired by an Ann Rice vampire novel titled: “Queen of the Damned.”

With a Lifetime biopic in the works currently, even over a decade that Aaliyah has been gone, she is certainly not forgotten by her fans, family, and people closely associated with her.

Since blasting onto pop/R&B scene in 1995 with hits like “Back and Forth” and “At Your Best,” she was at the height of her success before her death-having won two MTV Video Music Awards (September 7, 2000) for her Timberland-produced song featured on the “Romeo Must Die” soundtrack called “Try Again.”



Aaliyah will forever be deeply missed by her closest industry friends Timberland, Missy Elliott, Magoo, Ginuwine, and Fatimah Robinson-her close friend and choreographer who snapped this pic of Aaliyah just hours before she boarded the tiny Cessna aircraft that killed she and eight other people just after wrapping the “Rock The Boat” video-shot in the Bahamas.

Turn it down, Chris Brown! The singer, en route to the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards, posted an Instagram video of himself sharing a few (questionable) thoughts with fans, the day after there was a shooting at a party he hosted in Hollywood.

"This year's 2014 MTV VMAs -- at the Forum!" Breezy, 25, exclaimed in the Instagram clip. "Inglewood, we're in the hood!" Joking, he added: "What the f---! I'm like, 'Aight, cool.' White people better turn up. Don't do nothin' crazy."

His statements come hours after Suge Knight, the co-founder of Death Row Records, was shot six times inside Hollywood hotspot 1OAK early Sunday morning. Knight was taken to the hospital in an ambulance and is currently recovering in the ICU after surgery. The famed music producer is expected to make full recovery.

"People were screaming and yelling and most ran out immediately," an eyewitness inside the club told Us Weekly of the chaos following the gunshots. "The floor was covered with glass from everyone dropping their drinks."

Brown took to his Twitter shortly after the incident to slam the violence. "It's disappointing that we as a society can't have fun or enjoy ourselves without any altercations sometimes. Miss me with the bulls---t!!!" he wrote.

Rihanna and Brown famously dated for two years before Brown was charged with assault against the Barbados native in February 2009 following the 51st Annual Grammy Awards in L.A. Rihanna supported Brown at his court hearing, and after some time apart, they controversially got back together in January 2013. Early Christmas gifts may (or may not have) have arrived for many in the rap industry and others-depending on who you ask.

The infamous nemesis Marion Hugh a.k.a: Suge Knight, 49, co-founder of Death Row Records was shot two times during Chris Brown’s 10AK pre-VMAs party in Los Angeles.

According to our sources, the two shots rang out around 1:35 a.m. PST at a “pretty chaotic and packed” club which housed the likes of Young Jeezy, Lil’ Twist, The game, Tyson Beckford, Derek Hough, E.J. Johnson, Mark Ballas, and even Richard Simmons.

Its host: Chris Brown’s security guard quickly rushed him and his entourage to his table and were escorted out of the building safely.

“People were screaming and yelling and most ran out immediately. The floor was covered with glass from everyone dropping their drinks,” said and eyewitness on the scene.

A few minutes after the shots were fired, model, Tyson Beckford grabbed the mic to assure the hysterical crowd that those weren’t gunshots, echoing: “It wasn’t a gun shot, trust me.”

Nothing could be further from the truth. A few minutes later; at approximately 1:50 a.m. the police swarmed the club, forcing everyone to exit-Ferguson style: Hands in the air.

Although shot, it is being reported that Knight was able to walk out of the club on foot but was then taken to the hospital via ambulance.

No official statement was released about the mayhem but it is being reported (by eyewitnesses overhearing the poilce) that approximately four people were dead.

The family of Suge Knight report that he is currently in surgery.

Aside from his wrangles with many rappers and others in the music industry, Knight is notoriously stapled as the man driving the car that traveled on Flamingo Road in Las Vegas on route to an after-party following a Mike Tyson fight, that famous rapper Tupac Shakur was the passenger of-and gunned down on September 7, 1996 which lead to his demise six days later.

Madonna celebrated her August 16th birthday big time this month by taking all the people she loved along with her on a European vacation for some much needed R & R.

On August 2, she, along with her boy toy Timor Steffans and her adopted + birth children set sail for the South of France whereby before the clock ticked and she turned 56, the Material Girl dropped and docked her boy toy nine days in and on her son Rocco’s birthday. From there, they all set sail on to Ibiza.

No particular reason was stated-as to why she gave him the pink slip-but according to our sources Madonna just wasn’t that into Timor. despite their hanging out pretty much all 2014 together.

In an interview, Timor told The Daily Mirror Newspaper “There is an age gap between me and Madonna but I don’t notice it. My girlfriends have always been older than me and that’s how I like it. I learn a lot. Mum is a big inspiration. She is a fighter, a strong independent woman, and any relationship I’ve had in the past was mostly with women that are independent and like to have an opinion.'

Well, seems as though the Express Yourself singer opted to move on without him, for whatever reason. Sources say that with an album in the works, getting Lourdes prepared for college, Madonna’s just been non stop busy.

It’s being reported that Madonna is working with the best of the best on this next album: MoZella, Avicii, Diplo, Toby Gad and Symbolyc.. Her last studio album was MDNA (2012) and they say she is working hard on this next effort

Madonna posted several instagrams from her visit to Ibiza and didn't seem upset in the least.

While Julie Andrews’ version of The Sound of Music’s “[These Are a Few Of] My Favorite Things” may be all smitten, mittens, strudels, snickerdoodles, poodles, and noodles; Lauryn Hill’s rendition of the melody is certain one to check out—if you haven’t already.

They (well…I do) say music is universal and timeless. And the beauty in music tends to put the mind to sleep and either moves our bodies or opens up our hearts.

Certainly, a lot of people were moved by the incidents of the past couple weeks and too-so was Lauryn Hill—moved by the killing of 18 year-old Mike Brown of Ferguson Missouri.

Other rappers who have extended their voice and presence are J. Cole, Nelly, T.I, Talib Kweli just to name a few.









Currently on tour and unable to lend her presence to the city of Ferguson, Lauryn Hill took the time out to lend her voice-in song-to let the people know that theirs indeed, was heard.

Via MTV Unplugged, and throughout the Internet, Lauryn has recorded lots of music since her last studio album “The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill” (1999). She chose to offer a “sketch” of her song “Black Rage” in spirit of understanding + identifying with the oppressed, and dispirited during this time.

Despite the fact that in another done a week later, Cannon went on record in a humble attempt to clean up his statements, praise his wife’s sex skills and express how oblivious to all this Mariah is (so much so that she doesn’t even know what a Kim Kardashian is), rumors began circulating that still, his social media/publicly reclusive wife-Mariah Carey was more than displeased and humiliated [with the interview his did with BigBoi].

When Cannon showed up for Beyonce and Jay Z’s On The Run concert solo earlier this month-“where there’s smoke, there’s fire” became a bit of an understatement in the Cannon household.

Although under a supposed gag-order, this week after his coming forth and confirming “Yes, there is trouble in paradise and we’ve been living in separate houses for a few months now” rumors began to rear its ugly head again-claiming that is was actually Nick that walked out on his marriage due to concerns for Carey’s “emotional state” and that was he was “ending the marriage for the well being of their kids” according to our sources.

And that he wanted to create an environment for their twins “free from the chaos in Mariah’s life.”

The bittersweet “good” news is that unlike the perplexing industry epidemic of infidelities being the cause of so many breakups this spring and summer alone, Cannon may very well have 99 problems but infidelity wasn’t 1.

Although atypical of the norm, we sort of got introduced to where Nick may have inherited his good looks and comedic genius: his dad.

Although (as aforementioned) Nick is under a gag order, but where Cannon can’t speak, his father, James Cannon (a pastor), is shooting: taking shots at Carey………..that was…until the Lambily (Mariah Carey’s “Lambs”) came in full force in sheep numbers biting and baaaaaah’ing pops to no end across social media for the following statements (grammar corrected-thank ya much):

Mariah’s reps have issued a statement stating from the Always Be My Baby singer stating her concern and focus is on #DemBabies.

While Floyd Mayweather is preparing for his September 13 fight with Maidana, his former pal sent out a couple jabs at him in spirit of the #ALSIceBucketChallenge spiraling around the Internet.

In case you may not know, Floyd Mayweather and rapper 50 Cent’s bromance dried up over a year now and at any moment in time, either of the two can be seen across the Internet throwing quips and blows at one another-especially 50.

It was just last month that rapper Nelly was rumored to have been dating Floyd’s ex: Shantel Jackson (the one that Mayweather put on blast all across the Internet a few months ago, if you remember us blogging about it).

Well, Mayweather’s tears and ink have dried, but Nelly found his way to her heart (perhaps). The two inked a deal for an upcoming reality showing centering around Nelly career as a hip-hop artist, life as a father, work as the co-owner of the Charlotte Bobcats, and his dating life with Shantel which, according to her-is at the “beginning stages” and “not full-blown relationship.”



Along with BET, although Nelly hasn’t given the “relationship” the green light as yet, that doesn’t stop the red light on 50 Cent-from going on with his show: Taking every moment he can to throw blows at the champion fighter + tease him about having lost Shantel [to Nelly].

Recently, Nelly and rapper T.I (whose wife Tiny was rumored to have had some personal dealings with Mayweather) have been in the news regarding the Ferguson/Mike Brown situation and obviously, word got out that Mayweather had some unkind words to say (which included some jabs at 50-so 50 Cent responded):

“I woke up, I looked at the computer and the computer say, Floyd say ‘f(ck T.I., f(ck Nelly, f(k 50.’ What’d he say f(k me for? Nelly f(cked your first baby mama Melissa then took your f(kin fiancée. Say f(k that n|gga,”



Via his social media account, when he posted what he had to say-he captioned it:

To add insult to injury, 50 took a jab at Mayweather’s intelligence (or lackthereof) and rather than nominating Floyd for the #ALSIceBucketChallenge, he opted to dump this chilly statement at Mayweather:

“Floyd, will you except my ALS/ESL CHALLENGE: I will donate $750k to a charity of your choice if you can read a full page out of a Harry Potter book out loud without starting and stopping or fucking up. lmao.”



Mayweather has had ongoing wrangles with a few rappers and has gone of record for stating the most the issue is that most rappers want to boost their public appeal. Floyd explained in MLive: “I don’t really focus on nothing like that. I’m relevant. My life is the (expletive). I’m something to talk about. A lot of times, you see a lot of these rap artists, they rap about certain things, but I really live it.”

Mayweather goes on to say “every home that I have is paid for, every car that I have is paid for, and I am a hundred-million-dollar man. I mean, this is the truth, it’s not a lie.”

Although Mayweather too a moment to take a jab at Nelly, T.I, and 50, he is in full-concentration and training mode-gearing up for his September 13 with Maidana with:

Although we at first thought rapper Future found that woman he had been “looking for with a flashlight” we learned this week that the lights burn out.



After a sweet and candid confession of all his pre-planning and methodology on securing singer: Ciara (where from then, the biggest and nicest ring turned the lights on every eye looking the 15-carat bling and proposing to her on her birthday last October 2013); no one would have thought that almost a year and one baby boy later-Ciara and her Future would be gone so soon.

It was just last week that USWeekly reported the breakup of the couple and quoted Ciara as having said [in an earlier interview with them]:

"I'm in a much more clairvoyant place in my life. Moms can be fresh, fly and young, and that’s the kind of mom I want to be. I'm very, very happy."

Later that day, by the time the story (of the breakup) hit the blogs, Ciara angrily took to her social media page and spewed at UsWeekly:

Needless to say, UsWeekly defended themselves by posting the actual interview that Ciara did do (with them), where she did state: [quote] “I'm in a much more clairvoyant place in my life. Moms can be fresh, fly and young, and that’s the kind of mom I want to be. I'm very, very happy" [unquote] however, UsWeekly merely mentioned the quote in the blog where they wrote an article about Ciara having called off the engagement due to Future cheating [way back around the August 13 date that they posted the “Exclusive” article].

Although the quote was taken from a previous interview that Ciara did indeed do with UsWeekly, and UsWeekly applied the harmless quote/what was said to the context of the blog about Ciara calling the engagement off around August 13, turns out in the very near future since that August 13 date, on August 21-some two weeks later, UsWeekly and Ciara broke even, anyways.

It was being reported that Ciara had learned that her fiancé rapper, Future had cheated on her with his stylist Tyrina Lee.

Rumors had already been making its way around that while Ciara was at home-pregnant-Future and invited his other baby’s mother with him while he was on his most recent tour [headlined by rapper Drake, and along with singer Miguel].

Whether that was true or no, since then and having given birth to their son: Future Zahir Wilburn, Ciara, 28, learned that rapper Future, 30, had a malfunction or two (or three or four): Lee-the wardrobe consultant (for his music videos and photo shoots and who too, was his personal shopper), bagged the rapper on more than one occasion. That was the camel that broke the camel’s back for the I’m Out singer.

"She found out about the affair through multiple sources in recent weeks," said the insider. "There was clear evidence when she approached Future about the cheating. This was clearly not just a one-night thing."

Obviously, this is devastating news for the Like a Boy singer, new mom, and future wife-to-be who had just told Brides magazine in an interview for its July 2014 issue: “I knew right away that he was different. Now he's my best friend in the world, my partner."



Back on the case, Us Weekly reported that since having come out-the rumors that Future destroyed his future with Ciara-they caught up with the handsome rapper on one of his social media pages where he’s pictured head down, with his dreadlocks shielding his face— most probably looking like a monster to all of Ciara’s close friends and fans.

Currently in-studio working on his upcoming album titled: “Monster,” Future captioned the inconspicuous photo: “I Dnt respond to rumors I respond to money #MONSTER.” 

Besides the slithering of Nicki Minaj’s “Anaconda” on to the MTV stage for this year’s VMA’s airing August 24, there’s another interesting twist occurring: Beyonce and Kelly Rowland-both, former Destiny’s Child group members-will be competing for the same award for Best Video with a Social Message: Beyonce-Pretty Hurts and Kelly-Dirty Laundry.

Despite all the breakup rumors run amok this month (alone), love and support is still in the air. Just this past Tuesday, occasional couple Rihanna and rapper Drake found their way back to one another as it was reported that on Tuesday, he took to the stage in New York for his Lil Wayne vs. Drake-show where Rihanna offered her show of support in attendance.

Meanwhile, convenient couple: Karrueche Tran and Chris Brown are back on again (this week at least).

In the sweetest gesture of PDA [even over this past Saturday’s]; Brown made his boo his social media #WCW (Woman Crush Wednesday) and captioned it: “damn near five years and this woman still putting up with my sh|t. Need to have this baby and stop playing ! LOL My WCW”

According to our source, although Tran is “madly in love” with Chris not to mention-flattered by this gesture of PDA; but she’s no where near ready to be a Baby-Mama (needing support “that one way” a few months down the line).

Sources say those close to Karrueche says she wants to be an actress—winning by being a supporting actress award someday, perhaps.

Although it may be a while before they go half on a baby, I have a dream that one day Drake and Rihanna will have one named “Tit-For” and Chris and Karrueche will have one named “Tat” …and this entire storybook can b.e happily ever after—for the rest of us.

So it wasn’t until five days later than we learned (for a second time-I’ll elaborate on that shortly) the cop’s name who was [quote] “ ‘involved’ in the shooting of Mike Brown,” [unquote].

The world over pretty much knows that on the afternoon of Saturday, August 9, 2014, eighteen year-old Mike Brown was gunned down by multiple gun shot wounds at the hands of a St. Louis police officer who, at first (until rumored hackers/alleged insiders got a hold of this photo of a Bryan P. Willman/ “Scooby Willman”):

…named him, found his social media account and circulated that picture (notably, the name or face nothing like what would be reported a few days later).

Meanwhile back in the city, unrest began with frustrated teen boys, women and men, parents of teen boys, innocent children, and confused children along with their parents took to the streets of Ferguson in search of answers and with the intent of peaceful, protests, sit-ins, and demonstrations showing solidarity and seeking solutions.

Others took advantage of the unrest and sought a solution to the city’s upset by taking advantage of the situation and began looting—having no idea that aside from the physical, emotional, and financial toll the business owners; the damage to the city caused by such acts (in this situation) further prolonged essential investigative efforts that many of the peaceful protesters marched and demanded answers about:

• Exactly who is the shooter?

• Exactly did he shoot 18 year-old Mike Brown?

As for their rendition of a resolution to control the city’s unrest, the city of St. Louis sought refuge in lacing the city with local, state, and federal servicemen who, as a result of their presence, guns, cans of mase, smoke bombs, riplets, tear gas, tear gas canisters, rubber bullets and pellets guns; caused negative reactions and some frustrated protestors rebelled (and retaliated)…

Other bystanders and protestors were shot-like this Howard University student, shot in the head and rushed to the emergency room of a nearby hospital.

Obviously with a situation involving yet, another black man brutally beaten like this brutal 7-min hard/painful to watch beat down, or being killed straight off the heels of last months killing of Eric Garner in New York at the hands of police officers, (wanna-be police officers), and painful injustices like Trayvon Martin and others around the world; this Ferguson incident didn’t sit too well with its residents. And although the peaceful protesters black and white alike joined hands in solidarity, due to situation (repeatedly happening the world over) the fact of the matter was still the “us” v. “them,” citizen v. law enforcement and especially the black v. white factor.

That being the case, it was inevitable that the typical civil rights ambulance chasers, and left-wing community/social/political groups like the Black Panther party and the Ku Kux Klan would surface during the may lay.

…marching and promises and making it be known-their intention on raising funds for the police officer who are raising money for [quote] “ ‘hero’ Ferguson cop who shot ‘a Jewish controlled black thug’ ” [unquote].

According to media writers Gabrielle Levy/UPI and David Ferguson/RawStory, the Missouri chapter of the KKK was quoted as having said via email to the Southern Poverty Law Center: “We are setting up a reward/fund for the police officer who shot this thug. He is a hero! We need more white cops who are anti-Zog and willing to put Jewish controlled black thugs in their place. Most cops are cowards and do nothing while 90 percent of interracial crime is black (and non-white) on white.”

Fast forward…the very next day (and five whole days since the shooting of Mike Brown on August 9).

“Darren Wilson”

Willman (atop the beginning of this write-up) ‘cause that aint him”…is basically what the St. Louis P.D may as well be saying to the world that was hanging onto Bryan P. Willman a.k.a “Scooby Willman” ’s Facebook page (as being leaked and named as being the definite shooter of Mike Brown—according to the hackers that leaked and circulated the snapshot).

To the world of social media, that name being released was almost like almost like the Arnold Schwarzenegger (“The Terminator”) being in search of every ‘Sarah Connor’ in the phone book he could find. Woe to anybody in the world of social media whose name was “Darren Wilson.”

The Twist, Bait, Switch (And Problem)

While, like any physical or mental ailment or issue; doctors (psychologists, psychiatrists, and physicians) know that subconsciously (as human psychology would have it), people/human beings feel some semblance of normalcy and sense of relief having a name for any ailment, issue, or problem.

So (like a doctor), holding a press conference (and five days later-after all the looting and may lay) the St. Louis P.D rolled out that a name [Darren Wilson]...

Oh what a relief it is.

…But not so fast-fast.

Here’s why:

Because also on the St. Louis Police force, there is a real guy named Darren R. Wilson-an eighteen year veteran of the Ethical society of Police, but ironically, is African American (as is Mike Brown).

Just so you know, Darren Wilson’s name wasn’t just pulled out of a hat—he was around right before the shooting occurred, directing (a then alive) Mike Brown out of the middle of the street from blocking traffic—earlier that day.

And just so we all know, this statement on behalf of Officer Darren R. Wilson was released:

Those “Unreported Details Regarding The Killing Of Mike Brown (Involving An Alleged Robbery That Took Place Right Before He Was Shot):

Just before the shooting occurred, Mike Brown was allegedly involved in a convenience store “strong arm” robbery.

SIDE NOTE: Dabbling around undecided and thinking I wanted criminal justice or forensics as a career in my early college years of majoring in Liberal Arts psychology and Criminal Justice with a concentration in corrections v. law enforcement; we had a pretty intensive study of the basics of in criminology, criminal law, and terminology (hence my use of the word “recidivism” in another blog I wrote).

Since then, maybe the terminology has upgraded/changed, but I never heard tell of a robbery called “strong arm robbery.” Back then, something like such was simply: “assault,” “assault with a weapon,” “assault and robbery” (and any ‘robbery’ of a store or bank etc—with the word ‘robbery’ involved was a real robbery (with or without a weapon)…and stealing or assault wasn’t ‘robbery’ (strong-arm or otherwise)…it was just: “theft” (and/or “assault”)…but I’m just gonna sit like the Kermit the Frog memes running around the Internet and say “it’s none of my business”

Needless to say, surveillance snap shots (allegedly) of Mike Brown (according to the time stamp on the snap shots) were conflicting with the time of the police communications report stating the time that Mike Brown was killed. The discrepancy between the time frames was supposed to have been “hours.”

The problem with that is…thanks to the world of social media watching and dissecting this whole thing unfold,

…many seem very aware and on guard for the St. Louis P.D’s need to closely relate the alleged convenience store “strong arm robbery” with the reason for this “Darren Wilson” [possibly Bryan P. Willman?] having an alibi or reason serve as the proceeding events that occurred right before (and: “as a result of”) the shooting.

In closing, whether a black or white cop shot Mike Brown, people just aren’t falling for the okie doke, witch-hunt, semantics play, and time-frame patchwork [that perhaps someone thinking of a master-plan] thinks they are going to pull out of a hat.

Gone are the days of important news being reported to the people and filtered only by radio, television, and print-how and whenever they wish to.

• the KKK (adorned with its 2 million collected signatures) petitions a “yearly purge of African Americans”

• the (less 200k) frustrated people of the community (black and white alike) petition President Obama to enact new federal laws to protect citizens from police violence and misconduct,

• the St. Louis P.D is thinking of a master plan-trying to connect the dots and get out of explaining why they threw African American sergeant Darren Wilson under the bus as if he was the shooter of Mike Brown

Nelly has a message for protesters in his hometown ... cut the crap!

The King of St. Louis finally talked publicly about the shooting death of Michael Brown ... saying the people of Ferguson jumped the gun by protesting too early, contributing to the violence.

Nelly tells TMZ ... "I understand the frustration, but we have to strategize before we overreact ... We don’t get no do-over on sh*t like this, so we have to do it right the first time."

The rapper adds, "Ain’t nothing happen no different that hasn’t been happening ... At the end of the day, we should have waited to strategize first and take all the right steps to organize."

SIDENOTE: About (“certainly?”).

Something else you learn in criminal law/criminal justice.

“Eyewitness” accounts where something traumatic happened and those eyewitnesses are counted on as giving crucial details about certain things that happened during that traumatic event (and especially the race or identity of the “alleged”) their recollection may (or may not be) considered. Why? Because psychologically, there’s always a chance that after the fact, criminologists sometimes consider “eyewitness” testimonies a product of what they think (or wish were so)…all things considered--after the fact/traumatic event.

Let’s just hope and pray for justice, a resolution, and healing for all.

Justin Timberlake found himself the target of widespread Twitter outrage this weekend when he allegedly sent Madonna a birthday tweet calling her his "mother chucking ninja." Followers quickly pounced on him for his use of the phrase, which is commonly understood as an alternate way of saying "mother f---ing n---a."

The tweet, which has since been deleted, reportedly read: "A happiest of Bdays to my mother chucking ninja, @Madonna!! Hope you have a great one, M!"

Users took him to task immediately after it was posted, responding with tweets like, "I just ended my relationship w/Justin," and "Get Justin Timberlake the f--k out of here." Some seemed to point out the unfortunate timing of his tweet, given the situation in Ferguson, Mo.

As Grantland pointed out in 2012, "ninja" has been used in the past by other stars, too. Katy Perry, for example, substituted it when she covered Kanye West's "N----s in Paris" during a Radio 1 performance that year.

No doubt because of the outrage, Timberlake deleted his birthday message to his "4 Minutes" duet partner Madonna, who turned 56 on Saturday, Aug. 16. One day later, he retweeted a message from Matt Morris about the events in Ferguson: "The world is watching #Ferguson. [And we pray.]"

Tick Tock. Time was ticking when the alarm sounded off after some fans on social media got a hold of a birthday greeting sent by Justin Timberlake to his 4 Minutes To Save The World duet chum: Madonna, 56, celebrating her birthday this weekend [August 16, 2014].

In the sentiment, Timberlake referred to Madonna as his “mother chucking ninja” via a tweet that reportedly read: "A happiest of Bdays to my mother chucking ninja, @Madonna!! Hope you have a great one, M!"

Having all but 4-minutes to save himself after getting called out on it, the post was quickly deleted:

Although seemingly harmless, (and despite the recent release of the new Ninja Turtles movie) people of the Information Age in since social media decided that other than that (or use of the word “ninja” to insult someone who’s just all over the place/doing too much); “ninja” was derogatory (in the context that Timberlake sent it in especially on the heels of the Mike Brown/Ferguson tragedy that as a result, has made social media very much an ultra-sensitive environment right about now).

Justin was immediately pounced on for his statement because as social media would have it, “mother chucking ninja” is some secret code for [really] saying: “motherf^(king n!@@a.”

This was decided upon when in 2012, pointed out the word “ninja” as being used by stars in the past, e.g., Katy Perry having substituted “ninja” for n!@@a when during her 2012 Radio One performance-she covered Kanye West’s song (actually titled) “N!@@a’s in Paris.”

Users fell down on Timberlake responding with tweets like:

According to our sources, shit does go down when there’s a billion dollars on an elevator because the rumors are indeed true-that “Billion Dollars on an Elevator” will have reached ground level this fall-at final completion of their On The Run tour.

Other Side of the Fame reported to you in a couple weeks ago that when Beyonce did her two Los Angeles area tour dates, she stopped by her chum Gwyneth Paltrow’s home.

Although [even then] we joked that she was there most probably getting some pointers on “consciously uncoupling,” we are hearing that’s exactly what she was doing.

According to our source's “insider,” the bait and switch-then public snuggle itinerary has already be written. It’s being said that after the big announcement (dropping this coming fall) Beyonce and Jayz Z [quote] “will be spotted together [and that]-the two will be all lovey-dovey” [unquote].

Despite their seemingly on-stage Ike and Tina-like chemistry and countless photos of the couple performing (looking as if a split between the two has to be the farthest thing from the truth); the fact of the matter is-since May this year, the doors of “Billon Dollars on an Elevator” have been closed to one another [off-stage].

Beyonce does a great job of painting perfect picture of everything being everything and scurrying along just fine throughout her Instagram photos-nothing short of words in pictures demonstrative of the doting wife who is still “Drunk in Love,” (to the untrained eye).

Although the couple met on the set of Glee in 2010 when she first started appearing on the show (and married at the time); sources close to the situation vehemently deny there was anything beyond a professional relationship between Gwyneth and Falchuk.

Not to be outdone by Gwyneth’s news of a new boo, the very next day (August 18), it was announced that the other half of the “conscious [un]couple”: Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, was dating actress Jennifer Lawrence and that the two have been dating since June.

In the circle of things…every new beginning comes from some other beginning’s end.

Such is life...

It was just a couple months ago-June 30 after the BET Awards-the talk of all of social media was that singer Christina Milian and rapper Lil’ Wayne were spotted out on the scene “almost” together (as if they were dating) but the singer denied such a thing.

Denial of such a thing would make complete sense because Milian is the ex wife of songwriter “The Dream” (2009-2011) who as well, is the ex husband of [+ fathered three children with] singer Nivea (2004-2007).

In 2002, Nivea was originally engaged to be married to + bore a child with rapper Lil’ Wayne.

Lil Wayne’s music colleague: Jas Prince-a young Texas music mogul (and liaison of rapper Drake to Lil’ Wayne), was most recently engaged to be married to Christina until she called the engagement off reportedly due to his cheating.

As if rumors swirling around that Lil’ Wayne and Christina weren’t enough to send tongues-a-wagging and gums-a-bumpin’; the two showed up hand in hand to July 16th ESPY Awards yet, Milian insisted the two had a work/business relationship.

Since then however, when rumors began to surface that Christina was now pregnant by Lil’ Wayne and according to Nivea, Christina being pregnant could only bring more confusion into the kid’s lives:

I wish I had a word of automatic comfort but I don’t. I wish I could say that it will be alright on a certain or specific day but I can’t. I wish that all of the pain that I have endured could possibly ease some of yours but it won’t. What I can do for you is what has been done for me: pray for you then share my continuing journey as you begin yours.

I hate that you and your family must join this exclusive yet growing group of parents and relatives who have lost loved ones to senseless gun violence. Of particular concern is that so many of these gun violence cases involve children far too young. But Michael is much more than a police/gun violence case; Michael is your son. A son that barely had a chance to live. Our children are our future so whenever any of our children – black, white, brown, yellow, or red – are taken from us unnecessarily, it causes a never-ending pain that is unlike anything I could have imagined experiencing.

Further complicating the pain and loss in this tragedy is the fact that the killer of your son is alive, known, and currently free. In fact, he is on paid administrative leave. Your own feelings will bounce between sorrow and anger. Even when you don’t want to think about it because it is so much to bear, you will be forced to by merely turning on your television or answering your cell phone. You may find yourselves pulled in many different directions by strangers who may be well-wishers or detractors. Your circle will necessarily close tighter because the trust you once, if ever, you had in “the system” and their agents are forever changed. Your lives are forever changed.

However with those changes come new challenges and opportunities. You will experience a swell of support from all corners of the world. Many will express their sympathies and encourage you to keep fighting for Michael. You will also, unfortunately, hear character assassinations about Michael which I am certain you already have. This will incense and insult you. All of this will happen before and continue long after you have had the chance to lay your son to rest.

I know this because I lived and continue to live this. I have devoted my life to the comprehensive missions of The Trayvon Martin Foundation – including providing support to families that have lost a young child to senseless gun violence regardless of race, ethnicity or gender. I will support you and your efforts to seek justice for your Michael and the countless other Michaels & Trayvons of our country. The 20 Sandy Hook children. Jordan Davis. Oscar Grant. Kendrick Johnson. Sean Bell. Hadya Pendleton. The Aurora shooting victims. The list is too numerous to adequately mention them all. According to The Children’s Defense Fund, gun violence is the second leading cause of death for children ages 1-19. That is a horrible fact.

Facts, myths, and flat out lies are already out there in Michael’s case. Theories, regardless of how ridiculous, are being pondered by the pundits. My advice is to surround yourselves with proven and trusted support. Through it all, I never let go of my faith, my family, or my friends. Long after the overwhelming media attention is gone, you will need those three entities to find your ‘new normal.’ Honor your son and his life, not the circumstances of his alleged transgressions. I have always said that Trayvon was not perfect. But no one will ever convince me that my son deserved to be stalked and murdered. No one can convince you that Michael deserved to be executed.

But know this: neither of their lives shall be in vain. The galvanizations of our communities must be continued beyond the tragedies. While we fight injustice, we will also hold ourselves to an appropriate level of intelligent advocacy. If they refuse to hear us, we will make them feel us.

Some will mistake that last statement as being …

After ten days of ongoing unrest, the victim of the killing: Mike Brown, will finally be laid to rest.

According to our sources, funeral services for 18 year-old Mike Brown (killed by an on duty cop on Saturday, August 9, 2014) are planned for Monday, August 25, 2014.

The exact time and location for the memorial is not revealed as yet (according to Brown family attorney Benjamin Crump).

The shooting of the unarmed 6 foot 4” 295lb teen at the hands of Ferguson police officer “Darren Wilson” sparked days of looting-turned rioting, turned peaceful protests to date.

However, police have resorted to using tear gas, disturbingly loud sound projectors and other means of war-like materials in an effort to deter demonstrators--some have retaliated with Molotov cocktails and other man-made recyclables.

Given the volatility of the situation, Missouri Governor Jay Nixon deployed the Army National Guard to assist in control during this time which has gone into its tenth day.

The autopsy report confirmed that the teen was shot “by at least” six bullets including two to his head, according to a former New York City medical examiner.

The second (private) autopsy conducted by Michael M. Baden this past Sunday, August 17, stated the two shots to Mike Brown’s head/brain were likely the cause of death.

Michael Brown, the unarmed 18-year-old whose shooting by a police officer set off more than a week of unrest in Ferguson, Mo., was struck by at least six bullets, including two to the head, according to a former New York City medical examiner.

The autopsy results came as a march protesting Mr. Brown's Aug. 9 death erupted in chaos Sunday night when police forced back demonstrators in a cloud of smoke and a hail of sizzling canisters.

Michael M. Baden, who conducted a second, private autopsy Sunday for the Brown family, said wounds to the head and brain were the likely cause of death.

So everyone knows by now, that Super Bowl Half Time in conjunction with the awesome commercials we all look forward to [is-for probably half of Nielson’s American public], theeeee most exciting part of the Super Bowl.

It just can’t be denied.

Sure, we could easily say that Janet (inadvertently) changed the Super Bowl Half-Time show game in that (because of her debacle) to date-all of television and radio now has to suffer the 3-sec delay over an incident that, if you blinked; you missed anyways.

The thing about that memorable 2004 day is that the most we had for social media interaction were messages board postings and a Yahoo or MSN Chat room. Back then, we still had to rely a lot on television and radio to filter whatever they wished, to the masses.

Since then, real-time social media platforms have been birthed and because of that, whoever is lucky enough to snag a spot on the America’s stage on that February night will have certainly increased their popularity and income. The social media numbers and hashtag counts (of whatever is trending) as reported the next day, are astronomical [if I do say so myself].

That being the case, NFL big wigs decided it’s time to pay the—pipe…………..liners…for being the gateway to the performing artist’s increase in popularity and income.

According to Rolling Stone magazine, The Wall Street Journal is reporting that the NFL has asked Katy Perry, Rihanna, and ColdPlay to perform at Super Bowl Half-Time 2015—provide they are willing to pay the league to secure the spot on the world’s stage that night.

Although met with [quote] “a chilly reception from the candidate’s reps” [unquote], the NFL boldly went where no one has gone before by asking these prospective artists if in exchange for their anty-upped tour earnings after (or….as a result of headlining on Super Bowl night, lol)-they fork over a portion of their post-Super Bowl tour earnings or……….simply cut a check to the NFL for so graciously allowing the artist to interrupt their regular scheduled programming.

For the record, other than accommodations like travel and production expenses (which, reportedly can be somewhere around the million-dollar mark); the NFL doesn’t typically pay the performers to play. But this year, it’s looking like if players’ gon’ play-they’re gonna have to pay like they weigh.

Said I’d like to no where...you got the notion?

So who shall we blame for this bright idea?

Unless you live under a rock, weighing in at 115.3 million viewers last year, Bruno Mars was so super bad-ass at Super Bowl Half-Time night that he rocked our socks off [with what ending up looking like]: his “special guests”: The Red Hot Chilli Peppers.

Of course the Chilli Peppers rocked out too, but Bruno commanded that stage that night something fierce! And guess what:

…he was scheduled to go on the road shortly thereafter-tickets went on sale for his

“Moonshine Jungle” tour the Monday after his stellar performance on the stage at the Super Bowl.

*jokers grin*

Beyonce, who the year before ‘The Bruno Mars Super-Bowl Half-Time Show,’ announced her “Mrs. Carter” tour after her 112.2 million viewer set, and subsequently went back out on the road with hubby Jay Z [for their] “On The Run” tour, that just recently ended early this month. Reportedly, that tour ranked in almost $100 million for “Billion Dollars on an Elevator.”

From the looks of things, the league is aware that Katy Perry, Rihanna (who’s currently on her “Monster” tour with Eminem) and Coldplay have been grossing millions touring-for years. Perhaps, in addition to their already big fan bases, that was why they were being tapped to possibly perform at the shin-dig next year.

Because [quote] “the league’s contracts with artists are confidential” [unquote] according to the NFL spokesperson Joanna Hunter, so far, no decisions have been made about the: Who, and What……..but we do know When (and two other things):

• Super Bowl XLIX will take place outside of Phoenix on February 1st, 2015.

THE TWO OTHER THINGS:

• After researching this story and writing it up, our guy Weird Al Yankovic (who I just wrote up a story about-a petition going around to have him perform on Super Bowl night) is probably gonna have to hang a left

• Sooo although the [quote] “the league’s contracts with artists are confidential” [unquote] if they perform Super Bowl night……..aren’t we kinda-sorta gonna know they paid to be there. Isn’t that the equivalent of buying Twitter followers?

Yep.

But it’s a little bit like this:

If someone’s buying Twitter followers just to flaunt a number and aren’t selling a product or service and taking care of any business, then he/she is just that desperate to front and solicit attention for tweets.

BUT.

If he/she does have a product or service and he buys Twitter followers, it’s really: business-no different than [virtual] direct mail marketing [for any product, business, or service].

It’s just…business.

The return after that night is probably 20-fold over the cost of…….buying Super Bowl Half-Time followers.

Soooooo the moment we’ve all been waiting for arrived…in the middle of the night, right?

Unless you live under a rock, then you know that Nicki Minaj dropped…it like it’s hot...sometime last night around…twelve o’clock.

This past December, the mold was already been broken for 12 o’clock drops when Beyonce rolled down her partition and dropped an entire album with no advertising, plugs [or singles released].

Nicki, on the other hand (via her album art for the single “Anaconda”) just came on out and broke the mold via combing the new, with a little bit of the old (her single’s sample inspired by Sir Mix-A-Lot’s 1992 hit: “Baby Got Back”).

The finished product of what’s been the talk of the entire month is now here with some pretty impressive moves, Nicki’s trademark attractive color scheme, and hot dancers doing nothing less that keeping with the theme of the lyrics, and the song.

As well, Nicki double-taps her label-mate and close personal friend, rapper: Drake to make a cameo with him being not so far from his persona’s element as well: getting lap dances-which Nicki covers quite well.

This creatively attractive video would have been even more hot if at the end, they would have had Drake morph into [an anaconda] snake while Nicki lapped him-and then had the anaconda wrapping her from shoulder toe.
