Edgar's Hermano Restaurant 1700 Smith Street 713-739-8800

Chef Joey Galluzzi earned a name for himself on the national scene as a contestant on the TV show America's Next Great Restaurant. Now he's opened a restaurant in the Downtown Tunnels that focuses on one thing ? his famous meatballs.

Founder Russell Ybarra's "quick-casual" Bullritos concept was certainly inspired by his sprint through the streets of Pamplona. But his passion for fresh TexMex and quality ingredients paved the way for his call-it-like-you-want-it, bullthemed burrito joint.

Located inside Holiday Inn Houston Downtown, Burger Theory offers visitors more than just beer and signature burgers, the casual, come-as-you-are restaurant is also a convenient spot to grab breakfast any day of the week.

Family owned and operated serving the Houston community for over 43 years; the China Garden restaurant serves Hunan, Cantonese and Szchewan cuisine.

The 24 hour, family style restaurant is designed with a retro 1950's decor, stainless steel exterior and an upbeat atmosphere complete with an authentic juke box.

The 500,000-gallon underwater adventure complex includes a Ferris wheel, an aquatic carousel, Shark Voyage, a white tiger exhibit and a restaurant.

Edgar Hermano's mixes authentic TexMex cuisine with Southern culinary classics. Edgar's offers breakfast, lunch, lunch express, and dinner options every day.

Located across the street from the convention center, this two-story, ultraurban restaurant is one of two restaurants in downtown Houston's newest park.

When it comes to tasty Tex-Mex, Guadalajara is right on the money. The popular restaurant and cantina has a solid reputation for creative yet consistent cuisine that ranges from traditional fajitas and enchiladas to festive seafood dishes with a Southwestern kick.

Walls covered with decades of Top-40 memorabilia, rock songs blaring in the background and an all-American menu typify this music-themed restaurant.

House of Blues offers a richly unique entertainment experience as well as traditional American cuisine with a Southern flair.

The Houston Watch Company channels the rich history of Houston into a modern watering hole. Housed in the old Southern Pacific Railroad Building across from the Bayou Lofts, the bar gets its name from the 1912 Houston Watch Company that once called the space home.

The corner of Travis Street and Texas Avenue was the site of the Capitol of the Republic of Texas from 1837-1839. Lawless Spirits & Kitchen now sits in the original space under the historic Rice Hotel and features one of Houston's best patio views. Lawless specializes in chic cocktails and shareable bites.
