The main options for transportation from the airport are via Light Rail or taxi/car share. Light Rail – About 60 minutes to downtown Seattle. Fares will vary by destination but will be around $3.00. Depending on your final destination, you will likely need to connect to a bus or use a taxi or ride share service. Link to Sound Transit for more details on stations and fares.Taxi/Rideshare – The trip from SeaTac to Harborview/downtown Seattle takes about 25 minutes. Traffic can increase travel time significantly, so plan for 45 minutes to an hour.Public Transportation - The bus system in Seattle is extensive, but can also be slow. If you plan to navigate the bus system, use Google Maps and/or the free OneBusAway app. Bus fare requires exact change and is $2.75.
