Ten years ago, while working in EMMC outpatient practices, she obtained her CPC. In 2010, she graduated from Husson College with a Bachelor of Science in nursing (BSN). Since receiving her BSN, she has worked in the inpatient setting at EMMC in both acute rehab and cardiac specialties. Recently, she has taken a position in quality improvement with Beacon Health. She enjoys baking and spending time with her family. Meg Grimaldi, CHC, CCEPMeg is the Beacon Health LLC pioneer ACO Compliance Officer and the Eastern Maine Healthcare Systems (EMHS) Compliance Officer. Prior to joining EMHS, Meg was a system integrity officer for Providence Health and Services in Seattle Washington. Before moving into healthcare compliance Meg held positions as the executive director to the Washington State Executive Ethics Board and the Washington State Whistle Blower program manager. She also served as an operations management officer in the US Air Force. Glenn Martin, Esq.Glenn graduated from Bates College in Lewiston, Maine and the University of Michigan Law School in Ann Arbor, Michigan. After graduating law school, he clerked for the Honorable John Feikens, United States District Court, Eastern District of Michigan. Glenn then was in private practice with Hale and Dorr in Boston, Massachusetts. From there, Glenn became an Assistant United States Attorney in the United States Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Michigan, where he was the criminal healthcare fraud coordinator. While there, Glenn received the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services - Office of Inspector General (HHS-OIG) Integrity Award for establishing and implementing the successful Health Care Fraud Task Force that operates to this day, as well as numerous other awards for successful prosecutions. Glenn joined EMHS in 2005 as the chief internal audit & compliance officer, and assumed the general counsel role in 2010.Charles “Chuck” Harvey, BSN, RN, CPC, CPMAChuck served 22+ years in the Maine Army National Guard as a full time helicopter crew chief and flight medic in the 112th medical company (Air Ambulance). During that time he participated in several hundred rescues and emergency medical transport missions in Maine, New York, Mississippi, Canada, and Germany. He was also a member of the 1986 US Precision Helicopter Team during the successful defense of their world championship in England. Chuck helped establish the dispatch center for Life Flight of Maine and worked as an EMT-Intermediate with Capital Ambulance and was a level 1 EMS instructor. Chuck joined EMMC as a charge nurse working in respiratory and oncology inpatient units.
