THE STATE OF TEXAS COUNTY OF LIBERTY

RE: Monthly Report of the County Treasurer, For the Month Ended January 31, 2017

The Monthly Report of the County Treasurer includes, but is not limited to, money received and disbursed; debts due to and owed by the county; and all other proceedings in the Treasurer' s office that pertain to the financial standing of Liberty County. [LGC ?l 14.026(a)(b)]

The County Treasurer's books and the Auditor' s general ledger agree. The bank statements have been reconciled and any adjustments have been noted. This affidavit must state the amount of the cash and other

assets that are in the custody of the County Treasurer at the time of examination. [LGC ?114.026(d)]

TOTAL CASH AND INVESTMENTS HELD BY THE TREASURER ON JANUARY 31, 2017 $20,748,448.99

Therefore, Kim Harris, Liberty County Treasurer, who being fully sworn, upon oath states that the aforementioned monthly report is true and correct to the best of her knowledge. Filed with accompanying reports this, the 281" day of February, 2017.

At the regular meeting of the Commissioners' Court on February 28, 2017, Kim Harris, Liberty County Treasurer, presented the Treasurer's Report for the month ended January 3 1, 201 7 for the inspection of the court. After reviewing the Treasurer' s Report and having taken reasonable steps to ensure its accuracy, we, the undersigned members of the court, hereby approve the report, subject to independent auditors' review. We hereby affirm that the report complies with the statutes as referenced, and request that it be filed with the official minutes of this meeting. [LGC ? l 14.026(c) and (d)]
