Employer Paid Retirement

? 17.2% of your salary is paid by the state into a retirement fund. Correctional Security and Probation & Parole Agents are eligible for 20 year retirement.

? Comparatively, most state jobs have 16.62% of your salary contributed to a retirement fund, with you, the employee paying 2.5% of that.

Accrued Paid Vacation Leave Per Month

? 0 through 48 months of employment 8 hours per month

? 49 through 108 months of employment 10 hours per month

? 109 through 168 months of employment 12 hours per month

? 169 through 228 months of employment 14 hours per month

? 229 or more months of employment 16 hours per month

Accrued Paid Sick Leave Per Month

? Accrue 8 hours per month

? At least 9 paid holidays per year with premium pay for working the holiday

? 85% of the premium is paid by the state

? $40 extra per month for every 5 years of service
