RE Statute change regarding reciprocity of concealed handgun permits

The General Assembly passed, and the Governor signed, senate bill 34 regarding

Colorado's recognition of other states' concealed carry permits. As ofMay 17, 2007,

the State of Colorado will only recognize permits issued to residents of the issuing

state. We no longer recognize permits issued to nonresidents.

Our reciprocity provisions for permits issued to your residents remain unaffected by

this new law.
