Never round during calculations. Only round presentations. If rounding to the unit digit, then 1.5 is rounded to 2 and 1.4 is rounded to 1. Specifically, a number, X, with a value 1.5≤X<2.5 is rounded to 2.0 if rounding to the unit digit. Material in the prerequisite courses is required before taking this course. Prerequisite material will not be covered in this course since students are expected to know the prerequisite material before coming into this course. The answers and points earned for each assignment and exam will be posted on Canvas. No work is accepted after the end of the course. Each student must perform their own work. The individual project report is three pages and submitted as a PDF through Canvas. There are two options for your Individual Project Report:Option 1 is to conduct research on an aspect of a topic from the list provided on the website [] and submit your report as a PDF consisting of three pages. There are three conditions for the individual project report research topic: (1) a research topic based on material related to this course (not a subject from another discipline); (2) a research topic beyond material covered in this course (not the same material presented in this course but broader or deeper); and (3) a research topic that is interesting to you. The list provided on the website represents suggestions and acceptable resources for research topics.Option 2 is to select one of the Assignment Memos provided during the course, solve the problem, and present the solution in one PDF consisting of three pages. The first page is the Assignment Memo that presents the request. The second page is a Response Memo that you prepare to respond to the requests in the Assignment Memo you selected. The third page is a Technical Memo that outlines the technical approach you took in obtaining the quantitative material in the Response Memo you submitted. Both the Response Memo and the Technical Memo are limited to only one page each. The originally composed individual report for either option must be three pages and must demonstrate the student’s knowledge and an ability to effectively communicate the knowledge appropriate for a business environment. More than one page for a memo or more than three pages submitted as a report will result in a reduction of points.Submit the originally composed individual project report through Canvas as a PDF file on or before the due date and time. No late reports accepted. Each report may only be submitted once, may only be submitted as a complete report, and must be submitted by the due date and time. A report not submitted has a grade of zero. Each student is required to submit original material for their individual report.
