To survivors who have courageously told their devastating stories.
To victims who need to know they will be believed and cared for when they come forward.
To advocates who have faithfully served as God's heralds, calling the church to repent of her failures
in this area, and who also long for change.
We hope this project honors your suffering, courage, and faithfulness.
We pray this work assists the church to become the refuge God intended His people to be.

Knowledge does not make hard things easy. But knowledge can make confusing things clearer. If you have been involved in abusive relationships, whether that be personally or ministerially, you know that nothing with abuse is easy. Our goal in this training is to make your role as a pastor or ministry leader clearer.
At the end of this training you should be able to say, "I know what I should do when there is an report of abuse in my ministry, why I should do it, and how to do it." From there it is your responsibility as both a citizen and Christian to have the integrity and courage to take action as one of God's agents of protection for those being harmed or oppressed by various forms of abuse.
