The role will have accounts payable responsibility for all areas of the business.KEY RESPONSIBILITY: Accounts PayableDUTIESManage all accounts payable administration processes according to Seeka best practice including, but not limited to: manage digital purchase order process and work flowsmonitoring of approvals and communication with Seeka managersprocessing of manual and cheque paymentsmaintaining standing payments and direct debit supplier accountsmanaging invoice uploads into Greentreemonitoring and clearing of Greentree rejected, unassigned and on-hold invoicesraising buyer created invoicesEnsure that 7-day, 20th of the month and other payments are made in a timely and professional manner.Manage month end accounts payable processes ensuring that cut-off is adhered to, month end reconciliations are prepared on a timely basis and aged creditors/supplier balances are reviewed.Overseeing supplier statement reconciliations.Manage and resolve queries as and when they arise from both internal stakeholders and external parties.Any other duties as reasonably requiredKEY MEASURABLES7 day and 20th month payments are made in timely mannerWork is prioritised according to importance, and completed accurately Active contribution to positive team environmentWork is completed according to Seeka best practice policy and proceduresWork is completed within deadlinesTECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE REQUIREDComprehensive understanding of the accounts payable process and systems.Microsoft Office Suite: IntermediateSoftware/Technology: Previous experience using Greentree or a similar accounting systemNumeracy: Experience working with and a good understanding of financial informationRole specific knowledge: 3 + years in a similar role with specific experience in invoice and payment processing, reconciliation and data processing skillsPERSONAL ATTRIBUTESIStrong verbal and interpersonal skills: able to communicate clearly and effectively and at the appropriate level with various types of people (i.e. with suppliers, senior managers, and colleagues).Strong problem-solving skillsTeam player: able to work effectively with others to achieve an optimal outcome.
